We have to understand that Rocky-Sweety-Lucky are ultimately her family and they will definitely take care of her. Initially there might be anger. But subsequently they will care for her welfare. I dont find Rocky that matured or responsible enough to handle this situation. I want Sweety-Lucky to handle this. I am sure Sweety would have to give her famous slaps to Dev, but definitely Lucky will stop.

First Ginny has to understand her mistake, learn from it and prove herself. Her family's support will always be there.

And whatever they poured on her, hope that does not affect her health

So I saw the episode and it was very cruel indeed! I think her so called "friends" are to be blamed for the misdeed more than Dev. Dev never had anything with Ginny and wasn't her friend ever but the other girls should have tried to protect her and stand up for her.

Ginny should learn a BIG lesson from this and then teach all the culprits a BIGGER lesson.

At the end, I hope this incidence teaches a good lesson to the so many real-life teenagers who just want to be popular. We all want to do bad things just to "fit-in" and very few actually know what they themselves are truly.

To be honest, she is a kid. A lot of kids do many things just to "fit in" and avoid being bullied.

Dev is from Senior school and therefore older and a lot mature. The way he treated Ginny today was unacceptable. The way everybody behaved today was disgusting and something that should not have happened.

Yes she spread rumours - but what were those rumours? The fact that he's her boyfriend? How does that warrant for her to be treated in such a horrible manner?

I am actually half glad that Parvarrish showed this because it shows how damaging bullying and kids can be at this age.

While I agree that Ginny should not have lied - she is just a child and I understand why she felt compelled to do what she did. I am not excusing her behaviour, however I don't hold her accountable to receive such a punishment.

@Shwets,
That we don't have to understand, we know it. 😆
In the end they will surely forgive her. But before that, what's gonna happen, it is interesting to see. Rocky will maybe not part of it in the end, but now he is. So what will be his reaction firstly. He may go and console her without letting her know that he knows about BF thing. Then tell Sweety-Lucky about it later privately. Sweety will get angry in her and may try and to talk to her. But Lucky will stop her to not to react, the situation is critical. They know Ginny has done something really stupid. But what happened in the party is she struggling big time. Now, it's time to relax and try to boost her up, then make her understand some other way.
Hmm, that thing may affect her health. Hope not, but as germs are there and that thing is on her from very long time if we see according to real time.

I agree with all your points completely.
Ginny lied to 'fit in' the group. Peer pressure as well call it as. Kids do this often these days.
They want to fit in the defination of Cool, it's very easy to get influenced these days. 80% are out there just for the show-off. very difficult for the Kids to stay away.😊
I am also glad Parvarrish show-cased this issue.
And, while I am also not defending Ginny, I did feel she needed to learn the lesson.
But what Dev did was way too cruel. You can't punish a lil 9th standard girl just for the rumours. almost everyone around us spread rumours. You can either talk to them or scold them to the least.
But punishing in such a harsh way isn't acceptable.
It's another acpect that CVs focused on how bullying these kids can get.😊
hope Ahluwalia family will help Ginny come out of the incident more stronger & face her friends & those stupid boys.😊

Yup, exactly it's about wanting to fit in.
And honestly kids these days don't even realise how damaging their words and actions can be - Dev on the other hand is old enough to realise that.

This is an issue I see around so much that I am so glad they are showcasing this - albeit in a slightly dramatic fashion.
I see my cousins constantly begging their parents to take them to holidays overseas because nowadays going holidaying in India is not "cool enough" or because everybody has an iphone so they need to get one too, otherwise they get called names.

The boyfriend issue is something girls are faced with at least once during their duration at school - and I guess through this the show can tell the girls that not having a boyfriend is not the end of the world.

@Krani,
Agreed. Kids these days gets infuenced to bad things very quickly, and they don't have confidence to tell about their problems to their parents, just because they are affraid that their parents may scold them or nt going to understand their problem. Then they starts to go deep in it, just as Ginny did. She kept saying that she won't continue this lie anymore, but she was forced to do so because of surrounding pressure.
The rumor was spread, but who spread it? Ginny? No. It was her classmates who made that, Ginny just accepted it because of pressure to go in to that group. She was wrong, absolutely. Kids of current age should not discriminate with each other, and just because of it. They becomes big and dicriminates on higher levels. It starts from childhood. You are just kids and saying that I am better than you, just because you go to cafe with your BFs, actually just friends. Now, coming back to Ginny, what happened to her was wrong, no acceptance on that deed of Dev. And he deserves punishment too. You can't do such thing to young innocent kid.

like you said, having iPhone, vacation overseas has become like everyone does and hence, we should do it too. It was there when I was in school, college. people will literely say, 'you are wearing the same dress you wore on so n so's B'day, have something new' eventhough You are ok with wearing same, such remarks would make you feel bad.😔 Kids are not stronger enough to take it & hence, they start pestering parents.
@Bold -- I agree. Not everyone out their has BF, many girls might be around you without them. It's you who have to chose who you want to be with & who you don't. You lie today but you can't change your way of living just to have such group of friends. I wish through Ginny they can show this. Pick your friends who you are comfortable with.😊

My only worry is will Sweety-Lucky know about the incident or not. I hope Rocky tells them. I dont want Rocky to handle this situation.

According to me, lesson would be.. She is strong enough & doesn't care whether they call her Bahenji or anything.
Her confident witll make them lose. She can tell them, at least I am not like you.. who go around humiliating a friend & then call themselves 'Cool'.
Then Rock competition can prove that she is better. I am sure all these 'Cool' girls will follow her.😊

Parents are to be blamed too for such spoilt brats! Some parents don't have the time but only money to give to their kids and that's when kids like Ginny's so called friends happen!

I am not opposing dating a boy or girl but doing it to become cool is no way the right thing. Unfortunately kids at that age aren't mature enuf to understand, so cannot blame them. At the end it's parents who have to play the role of a mentor to their kids.

Hope Ginny's family helps her so that she not only comes out of this but becomes a stronger individual for the future and set an example for other parents too!
