very nice post & read all ur views about the show.
well i started watching navya sometime in the 2nd or 3rd week of the show
starting. although i found the promos exciting, i did not want to watch the show
bcos tv channels r famous for giving great promos but the serial becomes thanda
within a month. but then something caught on, dont remember what but i caught
up with the episodes right from start & started liking it. even though i knew about IF
& was a member of IF ever since the jassi jaisi koyin nahin & kaisa yeh pyar hain
days, i started visiting IF probably for sgp first & then for navya. i started making posts
here & i caught up with the adda sometime during early this year. earlier i used to
read the adda but only the first page. slowly i realized that the adda consisted of
only a set of friends while the others shied away from it. at the same time i also realized
that adda mates hardly replied to any other posts. but nonetheless i liked both the adda
& the posts made by non-addamates & hence i got into a large friend circle.
till date i have seen tons of serial right from kahaani ghar ghar ki but never been so
close to any serial this way. This is very close to my heart. Navya was also a serial
very close to reality. i can identify a family like the mishras bcos during my school
& college days i was always scared to even talk to boys or even go out to a nearby
place with the other girls or go to movies with them bcos my family is very much
like the mishras. even i had to beg my mother to go to a picnic just from
morning till evening so asking for a night out was a BIG NO NO. so mishras were
very much real for me & bajpayis were too. bcos there r still many families in india
whose DILs r always like sugandha & savitha always in kitchen & always with a veil.
and even oms character was also real bcos there r men who consider their wife as
just good or even bad for bed but never good for nothing else.
the tracks i loved to see were anant & navya falling in love although it was too soon
(much better than other serials wherein the hero heroine fall in love after a year or so),
the most famous picnic track, the kanpur track (many of u will disagree i know but this
was dhamakedaar to me, especially the fight between mishras & bajpayis), the marriage track,
& the kholi track.
the fact that i disliked about the kanpur track was that i wanted to see a little romantic
scenes between anya before the confrontation started. I did not like the marriage
getting postponed bcos it led to the amir sir track which dragged for almost
a month & a half. during this time there was ZERO communication between anant
& navya which i hated. i also disliked anant during the shagun track bcos he was doing
nothing to cancel his engagement although he as saying he will do something. if not for
shagun's stupidity he would have well been engaged to shagun. i also did not like
anant being sidelined during the saas bahu saga & anya scenes given to us in bheek
during this time. i so hoped to see a second SR when navya wore a skirt but that
idiot suggi had to call her right at that moment.
what i also did not like was cutting short a romantic moment or immediately showing a
tension moment after the romantic moment. i hated navya being a devi all the time
& her always hiding things from anant. frankly i wanted to slap her. i liked rama
turning good although it was too sudden. many tracks were left midway like
renu track, mohan not getting any decent dialogue (i am still wondering why rohit
bharadwaj continued with the show) etc. i also did not like the fact that suggi never
apologized to navya of course in reality a MIL will never say sorry to DIL bcos then her ego hurts but i so much wanted to see this on show. also anant never came to know about
his moms behavior towards navya but i am still hoping that he may mention it today. but nonetheless how much ever pathetic
a episode was i never missed even one episode. & i am somewhere happy that the
show is getting over bcos shamya did not get their dues from this show. i want
shaheer to get the kind of success & fame that barun got from ipk & with navya he wouldnt
have got that much although he has got so many fangirls. i am awaiting to see
shamya together or with someone else but hate to see them working with the same ph
& the pathetic channel. & i really really hope that shamya will end up together in their
personal life.
