but heh i missed a point about navya. navya is the only serial till date in the history
of indian tv to have introduced 4 original songs not belonging to any movie.
also during the SR seq they did not dish out a movie song like baahon ki darmiyan.
even the songs during the sangeet ceremony even though i did not like the songs even
then they were all original & apt to the situation & not filmy

The fairy-tale named NAVYA swept us off our feet even b4 we could realise it & WHOA! it has been one beautiful experience - actually, more of an emotional roller-coaster ride, replete with ups & downs, thrills & frills! All in all, over a period of 15 mos & 327 episodes, CVs managed to delight us, deject us and even disgust us. But all said and done, I & many others like me stayed put & hooked only becoz AnYa had stolen our hearts long back & every time SS2 shared the screen, my heart skipped a beat & went out to them. Such was the impact of AnYa magic! Never before, had I followed any show so religiously, felt so passionately for it, thought so much about the off screen happenings/personal lives of the leads & wanted to discuss so much abt anything & everything to do with them! I never even realized when this show turned into a passion & when the adda turned from a stress-buster fun discussion forum into a full-blown addiction without hopes of any rehab!
Till date, I'm not sure if my passion/addiction is logically justified, but my heart has always given me the go-ahead. I'm glad saveNavya1 was successful & I'll never regret having participated wholeheartedly in savenavya2 either! I simply owe a LOT to this show. It has given me miles of smiles😊, loads of stress too😭, made me fall in love with fairy-tale romance all over again❤️, connected me with adorable & talented actors like SS2 & last but definitely not the least, given me wonderful friends & soulsisters for life.🤗
Thank You to all my addamates for being so uniquely special😊. NAVYA was never just a show for me; it is one-of-a-kind unforgettable experience!
I hope we all move on with hearts full of cherished memories & hopes/wishes/prayers of happy moments waiting to happen.😉
Mrids, I obviously opt for "I dont want any dues" . I already got much much more than I asked for!

The aadarsh bahu who was pining and waiting for her husband's return is overjoyed, only to find that he has no memory of his previous family! But then, CVs intervene! A boulder falls on his head and he remembers his past! He's torn between his old family and new family, but the new wife is a bigger sati savitri than the older wife, so she sacrifices her hubby so he can return to his family! And that's it, story ends! 😉Or, it could continue and we could move to the next gen where his kids from both the wives meet and have issues..the half brothers/sisters fall for the same person, yadda yadda yadda 😛

First things first...a much-needed poll and a nice write-up Mridz😊As I revert back to Apr 4 2011 ( the day Navya started ), I made a promise to myself, that day...If the leads ever end up getting married, I shall quit the show and to be honest, I wasn't really expecting such a situation to arise, considering the show was promoted as a college caper...That was all I wanted from the show...a simple youthful love story set in college premises...Was that too much to ask for?? It's no wonder that I ended up quitting the show faster than any of you did...I'm also not ready to buy the argument that Navya had to go the saas-bahu way because of TRP issues...Fact is, Navya's best TRPs were during its initial days and I can dig articles from this very forum to prove that...Also I reiterate something that I've always had a problem with - the way A and N fell in love...There was so much potential there...so much that could have been explored...yet, all the creatives did was to show a few AN interactions and BAM!!! they are hugging each other and professing their love...From then onwards, the show has been full of, what I'd call, random-giri...Now, it almost looks as if the CVs were meandering aimlessly, just to kill time...and you know what the biggest irony was, A-N's chemistry steadily improved as the story went downhill...Baaki sab toh, you guys have covered all the points sufficiently...nothing more to add...RANT OVER!!!Now to the positives...Well, for a SP show, Navya had a cast that could act pretty decently...there were some stilted moments, but a good job overall...I loved the initial introductions to the protagonists - simple and sweet...The first few interactions b/w A and N - pure GOLD - the awkwardness was something I loved...BEKABOO song was just awesomeness galore - the way it was shot, set the tone for the show literally...Also, a moment of silence for Ritz and Ranbir - the 'would have been' lovers - liked them as much as A-N...I know, I know...I've just been focusing on the first few months...But, those were the days, man...as any Navya fan would tell you...Navya is not a bad show, its just that it could have been a lot better...which is why, I'm forced to conclude that I DID NOT get back my dues...On an ending note, here is one of my favorite AN scenes...the rain-auto scene at about 4.00 in this video, coz it has SOBER, NO-NONSENSE ANANT...ME LIKEY!!!
