Actors and their minor tiffs are a part and parcel of the entertainment industry. But this time, it seems like the issue has gone a little overboard.
We are talking about a recent incident that took place on the sets of Swastik Pictures' Navya, which airs on Star Plus.
A source says, "There was a small verbal tiff between Snigdha Pandey, a.k.a Rama Bhabhi and Rehan Sayed, a,k.a Ranbir of the show."
For more details we called up Snigdha and she explains, "We were waiting for the shot and Rehaan just passed a comment saying that I am fat.To which I retorted that he is short. This was just a casual friendly joke that we cracked. But then after that he said that I am dark skinned. This I felt was not right, as according to me it is a racist comment that he made publicly which can put down any girl's confidence. I have filed a complaint against him with CINTAA and the production house. I hope they do the needful."
We also contacted Rehaan to hear his side of the story and he conveys, "It's not true and I haven't said anything about her. I am sure that somebody must have instigated her. Singdha is one of the few persons on the set whom I get along with very well. I am a person who is very shy and reserved and it's the same with Singdha and that is why we get along. People who have issues or problems with me, must have told something to her which has created this misunderstanding. And if I want to say something on the same issue or get angry, I will be sharing the same stage as Snigdha. I don't want to comment on anything. I have some principles in life and if I have issues with my friends, I would directly go and talk, rather than discussing it in a public forum."
We just hope the issue gets sorted out as soon as possible as the show is on the verge of its farewell. It is better to bid adieu in the right spirit.
