Navya, a diligent daughter
Navya is a simple, sweet girl-next-door. She tries to strike a balance between traditions and modernity to keep her family happy. She helps her mother in the household chores like cooking food and keeping the house neat even after attending the college. She refused to go for the picnic to please her Dadi, and to her luck – Dadi was in a good mood and lets her go. She has been brought-up with great family values.

Navya, a great sister
Navya is a perfect sister to Renuka. She cares for her and loves to spend time with new-born niece. She cancels her plans with the friends to be with Renuka in the hospital. And, yes, how can we forget she didn't attend (Anant's sister) Nimisha's ring ceremony because Renuka's in-laws were to come over for a dinner. She didn't want to be home, but she did it for her sister. All sisters can definitely identify with Navya and Renuka – they have tiffs and share secrets, they are more of friends to each other.
On the other hand, Harsh and Navya share the Tom and Jerry relationship, love-hate relation. Harsh always finds reason to land Navya in trouble and enjoys seeing her miseries. But as loving siblings, they also support each other when time comes – The way Harsh supports Navya when she wants to go for the college picnic, was so memorable!

She fulfils her promise and helps Anant perform well in the computer exams. Mrs. Majumdar, her teacher trusts her innocence and thus saves her from the wrath of Rupesh Sir at the picnic. Navya, sneaks in the boys room to apologize to Anant and while leaving Rupesh Sir sees her. Though, she manages to escape and reach back in the girl's room. The next morning when Rupesh Sir doubts her, Mrs. Majumdar interferes and assures Rupesh Sir that Navya is the most decent and meek of all the girls and can't be behind all this.
