The Shehenshah-Kaneez joke was no funny but I guess it was supposed to be like that. Anant was not at all humorous in this scene. But his sensibility today was worth watching. They finally share their concerns and I guess the plan has begun. I had all praises for him when he shared Deepak's file with Mohan and used his dormant brain to unfold Deepu's loan mystery.
Did u notice BDs voice modulation? Chillies dipped in honey, isn't it? And where is the 'Eid-ka-Chand' CSB in all these conspiracies. Is he ignorant of the activities of his sister and son. All said and done BD now demands gold coins, Banarasi saaris and Lakshmi murtis. I felt like kidnapping her, tying her hands, feet and taping her mouth and leaving her in a dark room.
Taaya-Taayi are already there to give their durlab darshan in the show, And here I beg to differ a little. Tayaji had already prepared what to reply even before Taiji gave her isharas. So u cannot confide in ur brother also Deepu.
Good to see that Navya is trying to shed off her devi avtaar and act more humanly. Giving ur opinion against all those who seem to wrong is no less. Sham, dam, dand, bhed everything is acceptable under such circumstances. Dining table scenes at the Mishras place are always praiseworthy. Loved it. As I said in the other post even I too share such fights with my father.

@Supria: Eid Ka Chand is here..Always great to see you dropping in..🤗 Hahaha no worries, not a lot of people seem to be online today so your reply was not pushed to double digit pages..ROFL, I totally think there is some sort of cycle Anant goes through, kabhi mandbuddhi, toh kabhi buddhiman..😆 Yeah as you said, I really hope witchy witch or Hari Om/Om don't get a whiff about Deepu losing his job..If these leeches find out then they will sharpen their fangs extra sharp and torture the Mishras even more..🤢 Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for once Anant's plan will work out..There doesn't seem to be any other way out for the Mishras other than Anant himself coming to their rescue..

@Mridula: I was thinking about the exact same thing while watching the episode..The BG these days is horrible-reminds me of a saas-bahoo scene..But whenever they play the old AnYa BGs for even a few seconds I get transported back to the old times..Dheem Tana wala BG adds char chand to any AnYa scene..CVs should use that one more often..I actually thought Tau Ji looked at Tai jee before replying..He is a spineless coward anyway..Knew Deepu couldn't count on him..
And I am with you on your "Dump Boo-Ah-Daadi" mission..Its pure torture to witness her actions and hear her voice..How someone can be so bitter, vile, cruel is beyond me..🤢

@Renuka: Yupp, the whole middle class parents struggling with daughter's marriage concept of very real..Except the CVs are really dragging it to the extreme by showing Deepu losing is job, having no savings whatsoever..But koi nahin, all is well as long as he gets rescued by his yogya damad.😆

Tanuuu🤗...not only the epi...but it just feels sooo much better to see u in such a positive mood once again...I mean so much so that u cudnt really find something to pick on naturally n had to actually dog thru!!!...Ahhh...I guess no expectations n watching wats served on the plate formula is wats doing the wonders!! 😉😆

Ne hows...I must say I hated Anant's jhatak blue shirt in the beginning🤓...n 1 other thing that scared me away was Deepu's "maine kaha na nahi" in the gorilla tone n voice scale...I was like..."isshhh...bache ki jaan loge kya"😆

Today's epi was good indeed...Anant is not just being the loving adorable lover that he is seeing right thru navya but is also being reasonable n analytical n actually making use of those rare brain cells that can think!!!...I just loved how smartly he cross questioned mohan about how Deepu cud have taken loan from his own bank but since he didn't…something is defo wrong. Its endearing to see Anant slowly moulding into a good son-in-law that any father of a daughter cud have. 😳

M not going mention anything about the loonies coz they are not worth my time….but I must say….its always nice to see epis minus Rama. She really irritates me to the core.😡

What Navya did today is worth a standing ovation for shooting right back at her lost brain cells daddy. For a moment I thot Navya will be scare away like me….but m glad she proved me wrong n actually refused to marry at the cost of her father's mutual murder. The bf scene was truly adorable n I just enjoyed Anant's reactions as he witnessed this cold –warm war…N why do I think Anant has actually listened to the final convo between father-daughter where Deepu asks navya to not tell anything to Anant😳…..Jamaisa is shaatir….m sure he must have got inquistive to know wat happened seeing the scenario at the bf table so maybe have eveasedropped???😉 Hoping against hope….I so wish to see Anant himself digging the truth out of navya!!

Now onto the icing of the cake part in the epi….well that no doubt goes to the college classroom scene of AnYa where he so alluringly tells navya that all that matters to him is her n no one else….n that he expects nothing in the wedding except just her!!!! Ahhh….kya pyaar he!! Majnu bounces back with that with a bang!!!☺️❤️😳

After reading your posts I went ahead and gave the episode a watch. I must say it was like return of sensibility. It was like the old CV's have returned from a long vacation or maybe they have new CVs. or is it too early to comment?!
Tanu you have given such a brilliant description...that I could not wait to watch the episode..alas I had a couple of meetings to finish..

Just a few random musings..
-Mohan says "meri ek dost.." Ladki..hmmm?! Is it a new twist in Mohan's track? Why suddenly a girl dost?
- there was no precap..are we getting a surprise in the form of some sensible scene between the leads on their famous hilltop..! No I am not even thinking or asking for any chemistry loaded scene.well the situation doesnt ask for it and it is too much to ask from the CVs... I just hope it is not in college...I am so fed up of that college set...
-did anyone realize this week the friends are giving these two some privacy...👏
-About daddys' finances..its possible he has savings can give Navya a decent wedding..but a lavish one..nada..and I think that is where his problem lies...just trying to look at it from a different angle..:)...But I loved daddy and daughter argument..we all related to it..I know how I wanted to know every damn detail of my wedding..ofcourse I cannot relate to any of the huge demand part because I have the most lovely in-laws...but still I wanted to know every minute happenings..:)..specially because like Navya said...daddy has plans...mine had too...afterall his princess was getting married and he didnt want anything less than a shahi wedding for his daughter..:)..and me being me and my hubby being him...we wanted a simple wedding too...:)..oh that scene brought back so many memories..:)

Anant's brain freeze is over (for the time being😛): Yayy, my yummylicious sensible and uber caring Anant is back!!😃 I have no idea how long he will stay this way before resorting back to his mandbuddhi antics, but lets just bask in the glory of smart Anant for now..Today, we started from where last episode ended..The Shehenshah-Kaneez joke failed to make me laugh once again, Boo Hoo!🥱Navya feigning ignorance, as if everything was okay and there was no trouble in paradise did not go down well with me..I actually wanted her to share her worries with Anant when he asked her if there was anything that was bothering her.. I know its her family matter but this is the guy she is supposed to marry in a months time..She will spend the rest of her life with him and keeping stuff from him is being unfair to their love and their relationship..After all, he is in it too, since its his loonie family who are scaring the leaving daylights out of the Mishras..I loved how Anant knew that something was bothering Navya even though she insisted everything was okay.. I hated how in the last few episodes this perceptive side of Anant had gone for a toss, so glad to see him back to his caring self, the one who can see right through Navya's lies and sense her tension and worries..😳Thank God he overheard Navya telling Ritz and Appy about all the financial problems..What followed next was purely AnYalicious..After a long time, I went 'Awww' while watching an AnYa scene..Loved how Anant told her "Mujhe yeh tam jham kuch nahin chahiye, aur jiski mujhe sabse zyada ummeed hai, woh tum ho"..Majnu and his endearing dialogues- awww-worthy stuff right there..❤️ And this wasn't the end of intelligent actions from Anant today..He put 2 and 2 together seeing how Deepu hadn't applies for a loan in the bank he works at and even shared his worries with Mohan about the same..Now Mohan will find out that Deepu had indeed lost his job..I am just thinking whether Anant will let Navya know once he finds out the same..🤔

Blood Sucking Loonies & Namakool Tau Jee: God these loonies are nothing short of leeches..How much more shameless and insensitive could you possibly get??😡 Om and Hari Om have crossed all limits now..Boo-Ah-Daadi now wants the Mishras to gift gold coins and expensive saris to 50 of their most special guests..She was actually crass enough to tell Meeta all this after Meeta told her that they had already ordered silver coins for the guests..🤢 I swear this old hag is a blood/money sucking vampire..And obviously Om is in all this too..Sometimes I wonder if creepy baba knows about all this, CVs never show him anymore..Could he possibly be unaware about his son and sister's kartoots??😕 Moving on, the hall guy has also called Deepu up and asked him to pay up within a week or else the hall booking will be cancelled..Sach me, bechara Deepu is getting whiplashed from every corner..Oh and spineless Tau Ji refused to return Deepu's money because his chudail wife signaled him to do so..CVs, we get it-Deepu is screwed big time..But please get this torture done with soon, its so painful to see my teddy bear all tensed and helpless..😭

Like Father Like Daughter: Yayyy for Navya finally saying enough is enough, and that there is no need to give in to the loonie clan's absurd demands..🥳Loved how she said she will talk with Anant and let him know that its not possible for her parent's to fulfill all of his family's needs..Of course Deepu's huge inflated male ego had to intervene..I jumped for a second when he shouted at Navya and told her to keep out of all this as it was his responsibility to arrange her wedding..Deepu hun, please snap out of your stupor ASAP..You have no job, no loan, your namakool brother has refused to return your money, you can't even mortgage your house cause it isn't yours to begin with- and yet you keep boasting about how you can handle everything and there is no need to worry?? Who are you fooling again? Your family or yourself?? 😕😕 BTW I can't understand why Deepu is in such a penniless state..Every father from a middle class family saves up for his daughter's marriage..Exactly what was he doing for all these years? Moving on, I was literally cheering Navya on when she shot back and told Deepu that the responsibility is his but the wedding was hers, and she has no intentions of getting married unless Deepu listens to her..Loved how she stomped off refusing to listen to anything Deepu had to say..
You go girl!! 😃When parents start getting unreasonable some temper and tantrums are mandatory to knock some sense into their heads..Moving on, the whole breakfast scene where Navya and Deepu give the cold shoulder to each other was too adorable..😆😆 I could so relate to that scene, my father and I do the same all the time..Anant too dropped and witnessed the cold war..😆Kudos to Navya to refusing to listen to Deepu and telling him she cannot hide the truth from Anant..Eagerly looking forward to tomorrow's episode now, can't wait to know exactly what Anant's plan is..

I really had to try hard to rack my brain for something to muse about..Anyway here goes my pathetic attempt:

1)Ritz was wearing her one and one salwar suit yet again today...CVs the dress is lovely, but she needs some more variety when it comes to salwar suits..🥱
2)A fuchsia comforter?? Really Angry Papa?? Whats with the Bajpayee oldies and their fetish for girly colours??😕😆

A very good take on a good episode Tanu...like I said earlier you have a talent, always fun to read your episode posts:)

Abt the episode, I think reality is finally taking over the stupidness of this shaadi. No daughter would ever want to get married if that means her family goes through hell. And no father/parent can really hide things from their daughter/child who lives under the same roof. Like most of the adda mates agreed, it was very nice to see Navya take a stand...yes she has deviness in her somewhere, but I think basically she is a very strong person who has always stood up for herself and what SHE believes is right (whether it was confronting Anant abt her/his feelings, taking Dadi away from Kanpur or taking Meeta's side (instead of getting swayed by Anant's love) during the separation). So yeah you go girl!

Yes, it is nice to see Anant take a part in this craziness rather than just sulking or hanging out with his fiance, unaware of what's happening in her life.

I am with Tanu here when it comes to Deepu's finances..seriously is it even possible that he is sooo broke? Yes losing your job a month away from your daughter's wedding is a set back...but not having anything to fall back on...really?!

The less I say abt the loonies and the Kanpur freaks the better...let me concentrate on the nice and sweet things abt the episode. This brings me to the daughter-father scene...very realistic and sweet, like most of you pointed out. This serial has a bunch of good actors...Meeta I think leads the list..even without any dialogues, she did a great job conveying her emotions. Same holds true for Dadi.

All in all Shaina, Geeta and Tanu a great job on keeping all our spirits high regarding the episode!

I have one random musing...since this is my first day here, am bringing up something that has always bothered me...maybe you veterans think its silly and have an answer to it.

Why are Anant and Navya portrayed as college goers? I mean they can very well be in their mid-late 20s and still have all these issues to deal with...the loony family, sanskaar, parampara blah blah blah...why are they teenagers or in their early 20s???
