What is wrong in punishing the person who is behind this scam? It is not Monaya or monaya fans anyway so why are you feeling the pinch ? Not all are intelligent like your maid some may fall for the scam too right ? 😆

Actually the person who did it only has the answer to it. Not Sanaya, as she came live and cleared it up when she got wind of this late last evening.

Instead of coming hereabouts and crying foul, it would help if they go to cyber crime guys and trace the source to nail "the person who has the answer". But yes, I understand thats not the aim here now. I have no problem whatsoever with non-fans of the couple (together or individually) as its their choice. Ok with Haters too as again its their calling but unless we are certain, with something tangible, jumping to conclusions is not wise. Not preachy but methink dislike and hate is possible without viciousness and deception.

If my friend was conned like this into anything i would have filed an FIR

I m just giving a msg of ciber safety n i thought people using india forums were aware of these cibers scams n crimes but apparently they too r stupid enough to believe n fall for it. If we a privileged n educated class can be this stupid to fall for these scams i don't think we can make internet a safe place. Especially girls should think twice before being lured by a got damn phone. Many human trafficking mafia too keep a tabs on girls through these scams.

Pls guys dont be stupid dont get lured by a phone tv car or million dollars for anything.

This was just a stupid thing which was done by someone to demean monaya but it could have been anything.

@TM Many here have disputed the existence of your friend but let's say for now she exists, PLEASE PLEASE ask her parents or some responsible sensible adult to take away her phone and net and educate this person on cyber crime. There are even courses available for that. You never know what can happen next if such a person is not educated -financial fraud, paedophilia and all that lurks in the net. Be glad the poor girl got away losing only a minute of her time and a free missed call..

And as a responsible person go and file a case at the cyber cell of local police station if you really are concerned for your friend. Mohit and Sanaya have already warned their fans about this. You will be doing us a favour by doing this and getting the actual perpetrator apprehended..

@TM ... instead of being worried about reporting this scam and deception to SP to stop them counting the votes, please educate your friend first ... if she is so gullible, she could end up in trouble. She was lucky this was just a scam by disgruntled fans and haters, and she didn't lose anything. There are far worse scams out there, where they can hack phones data through a single missed call. Educate her not to respond to such messages. That is far more important for your friend than worrying about genuineness of votes.

And report the scam to the nearest cyber cell. Mohit and Sanaya have done their bit to warn their fans ... you would be doing them a favour by reporting this.

Well said! The TM should help her friend handle this in a mature way. Before this kid gets involved in more serious cyber crimes, Getting parent involved is is good first step.

TM instead of wasting time me in the virtual world , go help your friend in the real world!
