When Nandish Sandhu left Rashami Desai in the lurch

Nach Baliye 7 has new set of rules and according to it, all the contestants are expected stay in a house without any contact from the outside world. Rashami broke this rule when she faked an ankle injury and took a week's rest from the show. In reality the actor did not have any injury instead she was seen performing for a show in LA. The actress had apparently cleared this with the channel and the production house. But the makers kept this a secret from the other contestants. Things went out of control when Nakuul Mehta posted selfies with Rashami on his Instagram account. Reporters got a whiff of this and the news was all over the papers the next day. In order to control the situation, the makers asked Rashami to say that she lied to go for the LA show.

When the other contestants saw this they staged a walk off in protest. While all this drama was going on there was one person who did not respond or lend support - Rashami Desai's husband, Nandish Sandhu. Sources claim that in spite of knowing everything, Nandish chose to not comment on it. He feigned ignorance and publically claimed that he did not know anything about this. Even when the other contestants were accusing Rashami of lying and cheating Sandhu did not stand up for his wife nor did he extend his support - so we hear. She was left defending herself all alone. Well clearly Rashami is all alone in this mess; even her baliye didn't seem too interested to support her.

Another popular website claims that in order to come out of this mess Rashami explained that she is not a cheater or liar as she continued with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa when she had a miscarriage during the show. Sources claim that Rashami used her miscarriage to mellow down the situation and get sympathy from the judges. A source claims that Rashami's trick worked as Preity Zintagot extremely emotional hearing about the miscarriage, but her co-contestants were not too pleased. Was Rashami using her miscarriage to escape the wrath of the judges? Will the channel take responsibility and the onus of allowing Rashami to do the LA show?
