Gurmeet & Debina got married in 2004, when the legal age of consent for both males and females was 18, so they did not have a child marriage. The child marriage act of 2006 increased male consent to 21, but it does not apply to couples who are already married by then, so people can relax and not have a panic attack at the thought of Gurbina having a child marriage. 😆

Thanks Trish & PrincessSJB - I really thought there what did the entire AshVik fans miss in terms of a Rithvik & Asha video. In fact they are one of the finalists couples and we didn't even get an individual promo of theirs when NB started. Even throughout NB, for example, when AshVik fans trended worldwide about them being in NB, Star didn't bother to acknowledge that much.

Fab point about the Godfather and cheerleader in the judges team Trish, in fact I'd say Sajid acts as the killjoy post a good performance when other judges give AshVik 11 and he nitpicks over non-issues like he saw acting or he saw balancing or he was confused or I-just-came-up-with-this-ridiculous-idea-now

No couple has had it easy but if the show constantly highlights struggles of one over the others, its bound to irk viewers, and not just fans.

Honestly speaking, i have absolutely nothing against GurBina, i never have because as a couple and individuals they have never interested me or intrigued me. They are just like any other couple, they aren't extraordinary, they are just fine. But the way Star plus promotes them, and Sajid who literally praises them every weekend despite giving regular & decent performances. Their dances are good, but nothing special. I don't get why they are so overrated..But i guess its politics that always takes over real talent. And for me real talents are Rithvik & Asha. Not only talented but they give consistent performances every weekend, and have the highest scores since the time NB6 began. Audience LOVES them, they are sure the most popular couple on this season. So its popularity + talent + recognition that sums up to be the winner.

It's been very evident from the beginning that Star plus is favouring GC and DB over the other jodis. It's pretty much the Gurbina show, rather than Nach Baliye. But I don't think it's fair for their fans to suggest that everyone is out there to hate on 'em. Come on! People have better things to do! I'm just annoyed that we aren't really getting a competition here - because it's quite obvious where this is heading...it's an anti climax, folks.

Sajid Khan has been pro GC and DB since day one. If he had his way he would've handed them the trophy in the first week. Yes even judges have their favourites, but one has to put that aside and look at performances through objective and fair specs, otherwise you cannot judge in the correct manner.

The injury thing along with the struggle story is simply a farce and quite frankly, a ploy to generate support. Fans can defend this as much as they want but sob stories tend to sell and that's the tactic being used - like it or not.

The writing is on the wall - GC and DB will win the show despite not being the best jodi in the competition and regardless of some of their medicore performances. But I do appreciate the other jodis for marching on despite knowing deep down that it might be a lost cause in the end.

so damn right...totally agree with each and every word said...when I watch it with my family, it is easier for them to connect with all that sob stories and all coz they dont know the facts...i literally told them to stop sympathizing with the couple just coz their AV is shown...my brother hated it only for the fact that why are they showing their life story on a dance reality show...we dont care..we want to see your dance and we will vote for you if we like it...

oh and everyone in my family hates Sajid and mind you no one uses IF or any sort of other media to know whats being said about whom...but when I see them reacting that way and when I see the same reactions on social media as well, I feel happy about the fact that not only online fans feel the same way...audiences feel that way too...and that being said I never had anything against Gurbina only coz I was never a fan nor ever watched any of their shows...but this show has just ruined it for me completely...🥱

somewhere I still have hope that AshVik will make it...one can always hope right!
