Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh have been in the top lot for the first two rounds of Nach Baliye and what is more commendable is that Aamir is keeping his rozas while he performs and trains for the competition.
Aamir says that it isn't easy for him to maintain his roza and participate and he hopes that it will pay off for him.
"We are rehearsing very hard for Nach as we practice daily for 3 hrs. We are feeling lucky that we are keeping rozas in this pak (holy) month. But we are not keeping it daily… My mother is also keeping them for Sanjeeda and me. She is praying to the Almighty to give us success and strength," says Ali.
So what diet are you taking for this?
"Not much…but we are eating healthy and avoiding food from outside. If we eat khajoor (dates) it's quite sufficient for us,"
"I don't have any plan for Eid but Sanjeeda and I will enjoy Eid as its one of the holiest festivals," he says fondly.
Coupled with all the effort and the holy month of Ramzan it sure looks like jodi no 7 might get that little push from the hand above to help them move ahead.
