Vaibhavi Merchant is one tough taskmaster. Not only does she not believe in mincing her words as a judge but she also believes in telling off the choreographers if the need arises. And this time it was Rakhi Sawant and Abhishek Awasthi's choreographer Pratap Shetty.
The whole episode began when Abhishek arrived on the sets to film for the second round of performances. The dancer is already carrying a sever leg injury and hasn't rehearsed for most days. However, when it was time to get to the dance floor he was ready to show his moves. And although the two danced perfectly Vaibhavi got cross with Pratap for allowing Awasthi to take to the floors without any warm up.
"She basically got angry with Pratap saying that it was wrong for him as Abhishek's choreographer to let him practice without any warm up. She was angry because she felt this could seriously injure Abhishek and therefore she got upset," says a witness to the confrontation.
However it wasn't only Pratap who received a stern telling off by Merchant. "She even told Abhishek that it was foolish of him to do this. Abhishek is a dancer… he should have known how doing such a performance without any warm up can do to his injury."
Hopefully the two will now take into account Vaibhavi's suggestion and will ensure that they get in a warm up schedule before the filming.
