| HUSSAIN and Tina, now better known as Jodi No 8, were announced the winners of Nach Baliye 2 on Monday evening and their phones haven't stopped ringing since. For them it's double celebration because the Kuwajerwalas celebrate their first marriage anniversary tomorrow. "We couldn't have asked for a better gift," gushes Tina. Along with their performances, one thing everyone couldn't stop raving about was their chemistry. In fact after their blindfolded performance, Malaika Arora Khan went as far as to say that they seemed to be able to sense each other. "It was very sweet of her to say that, but that performance was rehearsed," says Tina and adds that everyone is under a misconception that they got to spend a lot of time together because of the dance show. "It was only quantity time, no quality to it," she says. |
Now, after 13 weeks of hard work, there's still no respite for them. While Hussain will immediately start shooting for his shows Kumkum and Shabaash India, Tina will get back to her fashion designing. But dancing will remain a part of their life. "I'm already forcing our choreographers to start a dance class. I used to ask Hussain to join one with me, but he wouldn't. Now I'll go ahead even without him," she laughs.
