NB to be PB

Hey guys, in my last post someone said tht they would vote for hiten n gauri even if they stared at the audience n did nth.. Don't u think the name of the program should be Popular Baliye... No Offense.. I too like Hiten Gauri but tht doesn't mean tht I'm blind.. If they perform best, they should definitely win... Just bcoz SRK is in a film does not make it a superhit.. Common what abt the script ?? In NB, we are looking for performance.....

i think i had supported that comment of staring 😳 😆 😆 and i still do... coz i like them 😛

of all the post in NB forum, urs is straight forward and unbiased. i totally totally totally agree with u. no offence to GH fans. this is nach baliye. 😊 😕

unfortunately...srk's presence in movie does make it a hit even if its script is stupid. now back to hiten/gauri issue...people vent thier anger out after each episode but nothing changes.

the sad part is that channel encourages these celeberaties to actually call on thier fans to vote which comes as no surprise since they make an hefty profit on every call and sms.infact the channel's position on shweta/manav fiasco did underline the fact that this is popularity baliye and not nach baliye.further why blame shweta/manav(just becoz they got caught) or hiten/gauri(whose fans are baltant enuf to vote inspite of thier amateur efforts), who knows which jodi has spend how much or used which resources to garner the votes.i mean why buy 200 sim cards...why not buy 2000 sim cards, why not pay internet cafe patron five rupees a vote...and so on.

even for celebraties , it is not a bad deal...even if it means hefty investments....they will make money in terms of ads or hiking up thier salaries as a result of proof of popularity that comes up in the show. also thier ego satisfaction is icing on the cake. some lesser known shows have gained more viewership (many people started watching aisa desh hai mera after watching gaurav chopra on the show). so in all it is a good deal for everybody involved as long as you do not question the ethical issue of voting based on popularity.
