Rajeev left Kahin toh hoga and left right left when the shows were at their peak. Barun also said that he didn't want to continue in IPK1 for more than one year. Zain's said something similar in a recent article. May be most of the make actors who are confident about getting work think like that

but one thing Zain differs from the other two (Barun & rajivb)be it Tashan e ishq or NK he never leaves any project or role halfway though he maybe not interested in SaaS bahu sagas that runs for years but he definitely respects his commitment even if nk would have run for one more year he would have stayed till the last but will never quit shows I like his professionalism and it's one thing which I don't like about Barun no offence to him it's his choice but fulfilling a commitment you signed without throwing tantrums or quitting it midway is respectable and more professional and

It's actually this attitude of Barun that he is stuck only with Gul till now and he hardly gets any good work because every pH and channel do consider the commitment and professionalism of actors before casting them they obviously won't prefer someone who will anytime quit the show or will disagree to work after certain period for their own reasons

Barun has talent good looks & fanbase but somehow we could see his past decision has actually backfired him in someway

Barun left only one project mid way that too for a movie which many actors have done. Don't know whether he does not get call from PHs or he himself does not want to do SaaS bahu sagas

I remember that Karan Kundra once refused a movie because he had committed to KMH. That is really a respectable thing

I agree I just felt like that and I dont know much about Iqbal Khan and about Karan Kundra too

Exactly! I didn't like zain's comparison with barun and rajeev, because both the latter have been known to leave things midway, not commit enough to their work and place many conditions, and also not getting or doing much work nowadays.

I don't want zain to be like barun and rajeev who are barely seen now. Zain needs to understand that indian tv doesn't unfortunately work that way where you decide to only do a show for one year and that's it, which unfortunately barun doesn't seem to have understood yet. You have to go into the indian tv industry knowing you may do a show for only a few months due to the struggle of many shows being unable to please the trp audience and trp hungry channels, or do a show for 1 year plus when shows do moderately to extremely well.

Rajeev is barely seen, and barun has only been seen in the train wreck IPKKND sequel of recent, and hasn't managed a good show since the first season which went off air because of him leaving at the peak of its popularity. Although I like barun, but don't really have much of an opinion on rajeev, I would never want zain to get career tips off them or follow their career paths which haven't been good.

Let's even look at sidhant who played kunj in tashan e ishq, who I also am a fan of, but he left tashan e ishq when the show was at it's most popular after just a year of the show running like barun. But he left it to go on jhalak dikh laja, which he did decent in but didn't get far, and then did bhoomi with sanjay dutt and aditi rao, a movie I watched and he barely had much of a role in it, and that too the movie was a disappointment story wise as it was another rape revenge story, where the girl gets her own justice and in a bloody way, instead of it ending with the girl being acknowledged as a victim by the end of the movie in court. I hate these kind of movies, because an ideal movie about rape for me is one where the court acknowledges the girl was in fact a victim of rape and she gets justice, so the movie was rubbish. Since then there is no news of Sidhant whatsoever. God knows where his career is going, and I have a bad feeling sidhant's career is going the same way as rajeev's who also left tv, started doing a few movies that completely went unnoticed, and now does no noticeable acting work.

On the other hand, you have zain, who did tashan e ishq which is what started off his popularity, and he did it till it ended. Then he did yeh vaada raha which was a fail, but he said he learnt his lesson to not join a show midway like that in a post leap story, but only after a lot of convincing did he ake up the post leap role of neil in naamkarann, which was a struggling show, and the show and he both shot up in immense popularity that at the moment he is one of the top most popular tv actors, and now immediately is doing a reality show like KKK9 on colors, who more than likely will offer him another show if track records show, irregardless of whether he wins the show or not. He will most likely do a show with colors next, and hopefully he chooses well, but without being too picky or demanding. He should reject a whole ton of offers in the wait for a finite series, as even then, there aren't many finite series being made, and most of them are a joke created by ekta.

The last decent finite series which wasn't laugh or cringe-worthy was surbhi joyti's koi laut ke aaya hai. It was actually an interesting story, which looked like a horror/ supernatural at first, but turned out to be a mystery on the issue of honour killings which I found to be an interesting concept, although I stopped watching it after a while because after some time I lose interest with finite series as I did with ekta's naagin and then kavach which I attempted to give a go at watching but kavach was awful that I couldn't get past watching 3 full episodes.

Yes but he didn't leave the show really early as he did the show from 2009-2011 as I have read, so he definitely raked in as much popularity as he did from the show instead of leaving it at one year when the show was at it's peak. Plus sushant has actually done pretty well I would say. It was a risk what he did, but it wasn't stupidity like what barun did. It's why I can't really bother to follow barun's career since he left IPKKND, as I no longer take him seriously as an actor because of that massive blunder.
