Zain is a boy who is willing to work his ass off because all he wants is to work on his own terms and make a good living for himself. He has also made it clear on numerous occasions that he is on the lookout for a good house for himself, but he cant afford it, and is currently in shared rented accommodation with abhilash. So it is clear that zain is in acting for the money, but has increasingly shown his displeasure of stretched out shows and how monotonous the story becomes, so he wants to think carefully about the role he chooses too.

I think its completely normal for an actor to want to explore and experiment and it is true that after a long time, the show tends to become monotonous and most (if not all) of the main characters have experienced complete character development..in other words, not much left to show or expand upon with the characters. And for people like Zain and Barun who have the determination, drive and interest in acting, that doesnt work. So they want to quit.
Acha chalo, theek hai if thats the case...the main problem i felt with Barun, which (thankfully) I'm not seeing in Zain is that as it was mentioned in Juzzbaat, he doesnt attend parties, have a PR, etc..hes a very private person and thats fine but that kind of attitude really stifles growth in an actor. Woh kehte hain na, out of sight, out of mind. Its completely accurate. In this day and age, especially in an industry like television, it is EXTREMELY tough to make a mark for yourself. Every day there are new aspiring actors and actresses. And in such a competitive field, an actor needs to both connect to his fans and stay relevant. Which I'm so happy that Zain is doing...he is consistently active on instagram, likes posts from various fandoms, etc. That connection with the fans is so so SO pivotal...
Another thing I really like about Zain is that he has tried a VARIETY of roles...first Abhimanyu in KYY...a super positive minded, fun loving guy...then Yuvraj in tashan-e-ishq where is essayed all sorts of roles including a positive character, negative character, a mentally disabled individual, etc..and then Yeh Vaada Raha...complete spoilt brat, player type of character...and then finally naamkarann where he essayed a more mature and sophisticated role of a guy who knew the difference between right and wrong and always stood up for the truth...Mr. Neil Khanna...and now he is spreading his wings even further by trying out a reality show KKK9 and I honestly think this is an excellent step for his career...zyaada tar when an actor does a show or role, there is a stigma or an IMAGE that becomes permanently attached to him...like Acha ye banda sirf romance kar sakta hai..or ye banda sirf typical bad boy roles kar sakta hai, etc...and that often restricts actors to just one type of role/show/movie. Im happy that Zain is staying away from that kind of stereotype...he is really showing off each and every one of his colours as an actor😳
