they haven't been together for 10 years and Mowgli doesn't look 9 years ...he looks more like 7 years ...so Neil will probably be shocked thinking that avni had a child with someone else but once she tells him it's his son ...he accepts it ...that's what I understood from his interview ... I can't see Neil doubting Avni when she tells him it's his son . From the precap I also thought his reaction looked shocked ...but more that Avni has a child ..not that its child ...

please spare me from justifications let the episode airs let's not talk about it till that we will come to know what he meant

Zain ko bolna nahi aaya hoga yaar. Let's wait till epi airs. If he does that no one will dare to come with justification.

When I first heard the byte, even I was vexed beyond definition thinking will Neil Khanna really dare to question the paternity of Mowgli?

But then I heard it two more times, and he says, he wasn't accepting it first and sometime later only he understood it is indeed his son.

How I interpret it is, his senses were betraying him to believe he actually had fathered a child who has been hidden from him for 10 long years that too by his wife, and it was tough to sink in that Avni could actually do something like that: Hide from him that they are parents to a young, sweet boy.

But as moments pass, the truth sinks in, and all he wants is the permanent legal custody of his son, so that he stays with him.

We ought to wait for the actual episode to air before drawing conclusions, because we *can* be wrong, not that we *are*!

So let's hope for the best.

I really hope and wish like simi said it's true that is what he meant if not for godsake don't justify it just because he is Neil Khanna even I love him that's why I don't want him stoop this low but I will be really happy if it doesn't happen

Wonderful explanation & couldn't agree more. As viewers we want to see our beloved characters together but in this case I don't really blame Neil.

I have started watching recently, so I can't really understand what's Avni's dilemma. But from what I learnt from others' post & everything, I think she is at fault - not for leaving Neil but now for hiding the truth. She could at least tell Neil about Prakash shooting Neela. Probably, then Neil would have understood. But then again, I can understand her fear, so can't really blame her also.

I don't blame Shweta for choosing Mitali. If it were real life, 10years is a really long time. Neil chose to keep Avni's memory alive but Shweta had to see her son suffer each day. She would definitely want someone to come into her son's life & end his loneliness.

I don't blame Mitali also. She didn't fell for a married man. For 10 long years she has stood by her best friend & at certain point she fall for him. She never forced herself on Neil. Yes, she did wrong by scaring Avni but instead of further plotting she asked for forgiveness & went back to being a friend. If Neil can love a supposedly dead person for 10years, is it really easy for Mitali to forget him overnight?

I do believe, at certain point, specially when you are in love, you have to be strong & take matters into your hand. Instead of breaking Neil's heart once more, Avni could try, even force Neil to listen to her side of the story. I don't think Shweta would be unhappy about it. Avni misinterpreted Neil's love & Shweta's concern & in a haste broke the MS which was the final nail in the coffin.

The next day when Mitali was shot, obviously Neil was more guilt-struck since he was angry with Avni for forsaking him but he himself was avoiding a girl who had stood beside him in his worst time. So in the heat of a moment, he proposed.

And any girl would say yes to her beloved's proposal.

At this point. I think everybody is right in their position. Since NK has gotten a 3months' extension, I hope the writer use it properly & show the characters resolve their problems maturely.

There's no need of negativity at all.
