I think these new writers have just changed how the truth will come out but the reason for why Avni left remains the same, she feared for the lives of her loved ones and Prakash going to jail. Notice how the CVs have emphasized on Prakash and Avni's bond lately? Avni's dialogues about how much he means to her. The writers have not forgotten at all and I do feel the truth will come out this week to Neil. The writers cannot wait until the last minute for such a reveal because as we can see these writers are following the route the previous writers had where Avni is completely broken from within. Avni still thinks of herself as that curse, she still fears those she loves will go away from her. Neil needs to free Avni from those demons and he can only do so once he knows the truth. I am wondering if Neil will be the only one to know about Prakash, like it would be his and Avni's secret that he won't disclose to his family this way Avni's sacrifice does not go in vein and family is convinced its because he loves his wife and wants to be there for Avni and their son.

Even watching the old episode where they find out about Neil not being the shooter for Neela Ma's murder, Prakash said something along the lines of " if anyone finds out they're responsible for the death of their loved one, they will die from within," I think that's also one of the reason why Avni is still hiding the truth.

Because even with Vidyut gone, there's always the possibity that Prakash will take this the wrong way. Do you guys still remember the dream she had where Prakash committed suicide?

Exactly Avni knows this family won't be able to live with such a harsh truth it won't matter the fact it was an accident how can Prakash ever live with the fact he snatched Neela Maa from his little girl?? It would break him, this family would never be the same

Avni is not going to agree to go back to Neil just for Moghuli. She has been against it.

I think this is where our villan Kamini who has been wanting to get back at Avni is going to come in. I am sure she is going to harm Avni which will make Neil realize what Avni means to him.

Kamini has already done that and while I don't doubt she will try to harm Avni again, Neil will have to know the truth about his father in order to start that healing process with Avni. Avni will go back to Neil if he knows why she did what she did and lets her know he wants to be with her, this has nothing to do with them sharing a child

We all never expected that neil would propose to mitali as it wld be out of character for him but see what the writers did..not to be the pessimist here but we just have to sit back and watch i guess..while all ur scenarios are valid and are ideal..i dont have that much faith in the writers...with them..i only expect an angry neil and stubbornly silent avni till the last epi..where they will have a 2min reunion..

I know none of us liked Neil proposing to Mitali but I don't feel Neil and Avni's characters have been ruined nor do I feel this truth will be dragged out for the remaining time of NK. Neil has to find out now otherwise it makes no sense. Avni has already moved out and there can only be so many instances where they meet so Mowgli knowing the truth from now has to mean it comes to light for Neil. Lets see where things go.

As much as I loved Neil Khanna, undoubtedly he is no longer the same post leap and logically, nor is the love between Avni and Neil. The person who used to say that he understood Avni best (more than anyone else in the world) and could catch her lies and hidden truths by just looking into her eyes now says that except himself, everyone else can understand Avni's decisions and feelings. Instead of embracing her or at least pulling her into a hug the first time he sees her, he instead pushes her away and refuses to listen to any explanation whatsoever. There is no initial joy or surprise at seeing her alive. It's as if he would have been better off if she were not alive. He doesn't wish to share the news of his impending engagement with his current wife whom he has not yet divorced, and is definitely more of an emotional wreck than ever before (though fortunately no longer suicidal).
Neil Khanna is treading on the wrong path, acting impulsive and irrational without analyzing the circumstances of the issue at hand, and is even willing to play with a girl's feelings while he attempts to take out his anger on Avni by getting married pronto. What's the goal? Does he really wish to spoil Mithali's life along with his own? Suppose they do get married, it's obvious that it will never be a happy one. And honestly, I don't see Avni getting too affected even if he does end up getting married as long as she has Mowgli and the children by her side. If anything, it would maybe lead her to doubt their love and get over him easier.

Avni's Neil would never have behaved this irrationally and I feel that the large disconnect between Avni and Neil is not just because of Avni's stubbornness but also because of Neil's callous behavior. As Neil continues to push Avni away, she just keeps distancing herself even further. The only time that Avni is drawn to Neil at the moment is when the old protective and caring Neil resurfaces during times of need, but as we know, that too is temporary. As much as the MS breaking was painful, it was necessary to bring Neil out of his shell of raging emotions.

I can only hope that Neil should have some sort of self-realization before Mowgli's or Prakash's truth surfaces, hopefully with the bracelet scene, because otherwise, their reunion would be because of external factors and not because of the undying love that they have for each other.

Neil needs to realize that he needs to 'move on', not by marrying Mithali, but by finding a purpose in life again (like Avni has) and, hopefully while he is at it, he is able to come to the realization that he can only move on from Avni to 'move on' with Avni.

this is exactly how the writers are showing us the change in the characters. Neil has become weaker while Avni is stronger that ever before.

Yes, Neil is definitely emotionally weaker, as you stated. The other thing that I wanted to elaborate on is that I feel that Neil has been pestered to move on by his family because he has not done anything substantial with his life post Avni's death, except mourn. Whether it is reminiscing in her memories as an RJ, getting drunk at bars, or wallowing in sadness privately, it is clear to the family that Neil is unhappy and that makes them unhappy.

If he had truly found a calling, maybe dedicated himself to causes that Avni believed in, he would have been a lot happier and Shweta may have never found the need to push him towards Mithali. In Wednesday's episode, I believe, Shweta says that Avni has moved on by finding a purpose in life through the orphanage, and she believes that Neil will find his through Mithali. She is blatantly wrong of course. However, we need to notice that everyone has been continuously saying that Avni has a new life and that she has moved on. Here, Avni moving on clearly does not equate to her getting remarried or ever finding another life partner at all. Everyone around her, though unhappy with her separation from Neil, is still happy and proud of what she has done with her life. Even in the MS breaking episode, Avni is clearly asking Neil to move on and live his life instead of wallowing in past memories. She never says that he needs to remarry, though that of course is his family's expectation and what Neil assumes. She just wants him to stop living in darkness and embrace positivity and happiness again for once.

The happiest I have seen Neil post leap, is with the children, and not with Mithali, as Shwetha feels or even Avni as Neil is extremely angry with her at the moment. You can say that he felt Avni's presence in the air of Kashid and that is why he was happy, but I believe that he truly enjoys the company of children (regardless of the fact that Mowgli is his own son) as spending time with them brings a genuine smile to his face, and he instantly becomes a child along with them. I so wish he had done something like Avni in the past ten years, like done some charity work for an NGO, organized philanthropic events for his dad's business, taught women and children self defense, or maybe even adopted a child and named her Avni. How sweet would that have been? I doubt Mithali would have even had a chance to make her way into his family had Neil been able to 'move on' in the true essence of the word with respect to his character. It's not too late either and I don't understand why the Khanna's have not insisted on him doing some sort of work again.

+1 . Wonder where ACP Neil or the Neil which was madly and deeply in live with Avni went . Maybe he sent them on a holiday . Neil now needs some emergency situation where Avni gets trapped badly to express his true feelings . Else he is again into his I don't give a f**k zone . There is his over pestering family which has give him time to think as Avni has returned instead of forcing mitali down his throat . What he did past 10 years is different from what he is doing now . He is behaving as though Avni is better to be dead

I doubt they will reveal the truth next week 🥱 I have more doubts whether they remember Neela's truth .

yes that's the whole point . Avni has suffered too but she has notes that break her ...whereas Neil has become bitter and sad and wrapped up in self pity.

Hello I am the silent reader. But I would like to share my views . After reading all the members views I feel that Neil should recognise his love for Avni without any bondage of Mowgli's truth and Neela Maa's truth. He should accept Avni as she is like he had done before.
Here I am not discussing who is right or wrong. Both are right and both are wrong in their own circumstances. But Avni has not done any crime aur betrayed Neil. Therefore, he should acknowledge his love for her and her love for him and the family.

After accepting back in his life with all the faults she bears, the truth of Neela Maa's death should be disclosed. Lastly the truth of Mowgli. Then only it will be true love of Neil and Avni.

Lastly, there must be Naamkaran ceremony of Mowgli with the autobiography of Avni published. Her book will be a success gaining her name "AVNI AISHA".

Thus, the whole concept of the serial will be fulfiled.

NAAMKARAN of AVNI
