"Hey Superman, why is my Jaan didi so angry? What did you do?" Sayesha asked Neil to which he didn't reply instead looked at Avni with confused look.
What could possibly be wrong? Romance? If so, then why didn't she say something before and why is she angry now? God!! Why did you make girls so complicated? He virtually asked God looking upwards.
"Supermann... Where have you lost?" Sayesha broke his chain of thoughts by snapping her fingers in front of him.
"Huh?! Nothing." He tried to answer her question not knowing what she has asked.
Before Sayesha could ask something else, his mobile rang breaking their conversation. He moved to Garden to attend the call and answered it ignorantly and found that he has got a party to attend to in which he is least interested in. But what can he do? It was DD on the other side. It is his promotion party and how could Neil say no to that? DD's little heart will be broken.
Not knowing what to do, he assured his attendance to the party to DD to which he disconnected the call with a glee.
He looked at Avni who is watering the plants with an angry look on her face. He has absolutely no clue behind her anger. May be the proximity was a little over the board! Neil Khanna, get your A' game and sweep your lady off the feet, he thought to himself.
He approached Sayesha who is pretending to study for her exams and asked her for help.
"Yes Superman, tell me. How may I help you?"
"I have a problem, actually two. And I need your help in getting out of them."
"And what are those?"
"First, your Jaan didi is angry with me and.. ""
"I have seen that and I was asking you the same thing. What did you do that she is so upset?
Images of his romance in the bedroom flashed in front of him. How he made her come out of the washroom with his shirt on and how he challenged her to get her clothes while the song was playing and how he made her lose the bet and gulped the lump in his throat before answering to Sayesha.
"You are too young to know the details. Don't dig deeper and give me an idea as how to pacify her." He evaded her question.
"And what is your second problem?" She asked after she got an idea as in what could have gone wrong between the two.
"Oh yeah! I have to attend a party in which I am least interested in. But it's my best friend's party. I want to stay with Av.. Neilanjana right here" He said making a puppy face.
"That's it! Problem solved" She exclaimed without giving him a solution.
Looking at his confused expression, she explained what he can do to pacify her Jaan didi but to that they cannot approach her directly. Too dangerous! They both thought together and hatched a plan to trap Avni.
Just after they made the plan, Avni walked into the study room where all the kids are either studying or finishing their homework.
"Sayesha, I have to go to a party tonight. Would you like to join me?" Neil asked Sayesha grabbing Avni's attention.
"I would love to but I have an exam day after to which I need to prepare for" She made an excuse.
"I will help you in studying tomorrow if you come with me tonight" He proposed a solution.
"Good Idea! Can I go Jaan didi?" She asked looking at Avni who is still in rage.
"Do you have any idea how important these exams are? You aren't going anywhere and you are studying and that's it!" She declared.
"Who isn't going anywhere?" Sunehri asked while she entered the room with Tara and Sitara.
"Acha hua tum aagayi. I need a plus one to accompany me to the party. Would you like to join me?" Neil asked expecting a No from her but she agreed immediately to his vain.
Sunehri understood something was wrong when Sayesha signaled to decline the offer with her eyes.
"Kis ki party hai?" She asked not knowing what to say.
"DD ki, he got a promotion and he is throwing a party" He said.
Grabbing the opportunity, Sunehri replied again.
"Arghh... Neil. You know right that things are actually not great between DD and me. So I think it would be good if I don't come along." She declined.
Everyone became silent after that and it is Sunehri again who broke the silence.
"Why don't you ask Neelanjana?"
"True! What do you say Jaan? Would you like to accompany me to the party?" He asked hoping to hear a yes.
"Absolutely not!" She replied curtly and moved out of the room handing all the books in her hand to Tara.
He ran behind her till he caught her in kitchen.
"Avni please, stop." He stopped her by grabbing her arm.
She managed to let go off his hand and moved away from him and pretended to work on something in the kitchen. He again asked her what has happened to which he received no reply except a glare.
"Arey yaar bata bhi do ki baat kya hai warna... "
"Warna kya karloge huh? Kya karloge?" she asked moving towards him which made him move backwards not knowing what else to do.
He got stopped by the kitchen slab and looked at her with a question mark face unable to understand what is wrong with her. She caught his collar and asked again.
"Kya karloge Neil Khanna?" She asked with fire in her eyes.
"Agar tum mere itne paas aake puchogi tho main kya jawab dunga? Kuch bhi kar saktha hu" he said whispering in her ear.
"Karke dikhao aur phir tum bhi dekhoge ki Avni Ayesha cheez kya hai" She warned him tightening her grip on his collar and crippling his shirt in the process.
"Dhamki se zyada ye mujhe invitation lag rahi hai because even you know what I can do" He said fueling her anger.
"Saaf saaf bolo ki dar gaye"
He couldn't take it anymore and held her by her waist and pulled her close with her hands still clutching his collar.
"Panga mat lo, pachtaogi" He said looking into her eyes and then her lips.
She left his collar and held his neck in an attempt to kill him. Literally! And this attempt of hers shocked the hell out of Neil and he immediately removed his hand on her waist and freed her. He held her hands on his neck and freed himself from her murderous rage.
"Maar dalogi kya?" he asked coughing and trying to breathe in some air.
"If it comes to that they yes! I will!" She confessed.
"Acha theeke, ye sab chodo. Please mere saath party mein aao warna DD bura maan jayega
"Huh, as if I am going to believe you!" she shrugged off.
"Arey yaar, I am serious about the party"
He grabbed his mobile and showed her the message from DD which had the venue details and the timings of the party.
She now believed him that there actually is a party and he was not trying to trick her into going on a date with her. She immediately changed her furious expression to a sad one and looked at him with her folded hands.
"Ab kya hogaya?" he asked unable to decipher her expressions.
"Mere paas party ke koi bhi kapde nahi hai" she said with a puppy face.
They approached Sayesha with the problem and she suggested her Jaan didi to wear her gown. She removed some stiches on the gown and tried it and stood in front of the mirror. Neck of the gown was a bit deep exposing her cleavage and the length of the dress is also short as it is Sayesha's. She looked at herself in dilemma whether to wear the outfit or to change into something casual of hers as the dress is way too exposing for her.
Neil entered the room to witness the breathtakingly beautiful Avni to whom Avni gave a confused look. He approached her without blinking eyes and stood in front of her without saying a word.
"How am I looking?" She asked nervously.
"You look..."
"Not good right? I know. It's way too much"
"You look sexy" he said still not diverting his gaze.
"That's it. You are back to being Romeo. I am not coming with you" She said moving away from him.
He held his head realizing what he has done and followed her and stopped her in midway.
"Acha sorry. I promise! Kuch nahi kahunga ya karunga. Koi badmaashi nahi. Trust me!" He assured her that he will behave.
"Okay" She agreed.
They bid byes to everyone at house and entered his car and drove away to the destination.

He got out of the car and opened her side of the door like a true gentleman and closed the door behind after she stepped out. He offered his arm asking her to grab it to which she did. They walked in together like a perfect couple.
As they entered the party floor, they grabbed many eyeballs including DD's. DD became so happy looking at his Sir and Bhabhi hand in hand walking into his party. He approached them with happiness in his eyes and hugged Neil without saying a word.
"I am very happy that you came Bhabhi" he expressed his happiness.
"Congratulations DD"
"Thank you so much. Aap aagaye aur meri khusi double hogayi
"Ab zyada makhan mat laga apni Bhabhi ko tikhe" Neil interrupted Bhabhi-Devar convo.
"He is just jealous, ignore him" Avni said twitching her nose.
"Sahi kaha aapne" DD replied.
"Bhabhi ke chamche, kya sahi kaha?" Neil asked grabbing him by placing his arm around DD's neck.
"Acha sorry sorry. Ab chalo mujhe kisise milwana hai aapko" He said and took Neil away after taking his Bhabhi's permission.
Avni sat on a nearby couch and started observing everybody. Some of them are on dance floor with their drinks glasses in their hands, some of them are making out in dark secluded corners and some of them are at the bar counter gulping their sorrows to try and find the peace. Her eyes finally reached Neil who reluctantly moved to dance floor with some girl who is hot, way too hot when compare to her. As per her point of view. You might get a different version from Neil. Once he reached the dance floor with the girl, he started swaying to the tunes of the song. The girl placed her hands around his neck and he placed his hands on her hips just to dance to the beats.
"Madam, soft drinks?" Her glaring session got interrupted by waiter.
In a fit of rage, she gulped down two to three glasses of drinks which waiter offered her not knowing what they actually were.
Her head started spinning after having drinks and she tried to get up and move out of the place not able to bear the loud music which is making her position worse. She tripped on her heels and was about to fall when her prince charming came to her rescue. Neil immediately caught her from falling and looked at her closed eyes.
He patted her cheeks trying to wake her up to which she responded in monosyllables. He looked around to understand what happened and there! His police eyes found couple of guys looking continuously at Avni with their glasses in their hands and he understood that they must have spiked her drink to take advantage of her. The mere thought of them trying to harm Avni made his blood boil. He wanted to beat them black and blue and put them behind bars but he has much pressing issue at hand which is Avni. She is not in her senses.
He held her close and moved out of the party floor.
"Avni, tum theek ho?" he asked her patting her cheeks again.
"Haan, lekin main tumse baat nahi karungi" She said pouting her lips.
"Kyu? Ab maine kya kiya?" he asked worried.
"Tum bohut bad ho. Isliye"
"Matlab?"
"Ghar main mere saath romance aur yaha us ladki ke saath romance. Very bad" she complained like a child.
His lips curved into a smile at her jealousy.
"Main romance nahi, dance kar raha tha" he clarified.
"Acha? Mujhse tho nahi pucha dance ke liye?
"Woh.. she asked me to dance with her and I couldn't deny her
"You gooo... Go and dance with her and don't talk to me" she said walking away from him.
"Avni tum chalo mere saath. Hum ghar jaake baat karenge
"Mujhe nahi jaana" She sat on the driveway.
"Avni, ye tum kya kar rahi ho? Utho" he helped her get up from the floor.
She sat down again confusing Neil to great lengths.
"Kya kar rahi ho? Ghar nahi jaana?"
"Nahi nahi nahi... Mujhe kahi nahi jaana
"Acha ok. Tum batao ki tumhe kya karna hai, hum wahi karenge jo tum bologi"
"Ice-creaaammm... Mujhe Ice-creaaammm khaana hai"
"What? Abhi?"
"Haan abhi"
Where will I get Ice-cream at this hour? Neil thought to himself and started looking around not knowing what to do and where to go.
He immediately called DD and asked him to come to the place where he is. He looked at Avni who is talking to a kid at a distance and smiling heart fully. He didn't know what they were talking about but he understood one thing that Avni has become a child again with the kid. DD came along interrupting his staring session and suggested to go inside hotel and stay the night. He even gave his room key to him. They were talking about something else and turned around to face Avni at once when they heard a loud sound. They both ran towards Avni who is standing in front of a guy who is trying to get hold of her.
Neil held Avni who is trying very hard to beat the guy up while DD got the guy who is trying to escape him.
"Leave me you both. Girl is mine alright" the guy demanded.
"What did you just say?" Neil asked when he heard the guy.
"You heard me. I spiked her drink and yes! The girl is mine. And bloody, she slapped me?! I am going to teach her a lesson" He said with rage.
"DD, handle her for a second" He asked DD to take care of Avni for a while who is not in her senses.
"Sir please.. I'll take care of him. You go" DD pleaded knowing what will happen if he hands over the guy to Neil.
"DD... Hand him over" He insisted.
Neil waited till DD held Avni by her arms while Neil held the guy's collar and slapped him left and right and kicked him without giving the guy any chance to retaliate.
"What the hell man! Why the hell are you beating me?" the guy asked trying to breathe between the kicks.
"First of all, she is my wife and second thing, I would beat you the same way even if she was someone else." He kicked the guy in the stomach again.
"Sir sir, mar jaayega banda. Leave him. I'll take care of him" DD pleaded.
"Call your guys and arrest this douche bag before I kill him" Neil said breathing in between.
"Sir, aap Bhabhi ko leke andar jao. Main iski khaatirdhaari karunga. Aap jaayiye.
DD caught the guy by his collar and called his mates to do the honors. Neil side hugged Avni protectively and kissed her forehead and walked inside the hotel to get into the room which DD gave keys to.
He asked Avni to sit on the sofa and moved to reception to ask them where the room is whose keys he is holding in his hand.
"Excuse me, can you please guide me to the room" He asked the receptionist showing his Keys.
"Neeeiiilll... Come here" Avni shouted on top of her voice scaring him.
He immediately rushed towards her and closed her mouth with his hand.
"Sshhh... What are you doing?
Avni removed his hand and said
"Kya matlab? Tum mujhe chodke kaha gaye the?
"Main yahi hu Avni. Kahi nahi gaya. Ab chalo" He held her by her waist and walked towards receptionist.
He smiled at the staff trying to hide his embarrassment and asked them to help him with his eyes.
She chanted his name all the way till the room. They reached the room and he helped her rest on the bed after moving in. Bell boy still stayed expecting some tip from Neil. He happily gave him good amount of money which made him leave with smile on his face.
He closed the door behind and looked Avni who sat on the bed with her legs folded like a child.
"Ab so jao" Neil ordered her.
She shook her head in negation and asked him to come near her and sit beside her. He removed his jacket and obeyed her and sat beside her.
"Bolo, kya baat hai?"
She hugged him without saying a word.
"Neilll..."
"Haan"
"Mujhe Ice-cream khaani hai" She asked.
He smiled at her child like antics and ordered Ice-cream from the hotel's phone. A guy arrived at their room after some time with two cups of Ice-cream.
She took the cup with happiness in her eyes and started eating as if someone is trying to steal it from her. He just looked at her with love. She looked adorable eating the ice-cream like a child without any inhibitions, without any worries on her face. She is herself after all these years and he still loved her to death. With her hair on her shoulders and her legs naked and with the little black dress hugging her skin, she looked no less than an angel. His angel.
She finished her ice-cream and handed over the empty cup to him and asked him to give his share to her. He ate it like a kid with some of it on her nose and on her lips and some spilled on her lower neck and some of it was on her dress as well. Looking at all that Neil decided to feed her himself.
"I'll feed you. Here" he said extending his hand with the spoon and offered her to which she held his hand and tried to grab the spoon from him.
"Nahi, main khud khaungi"
"Avni, apni haalath dekhi hai? Pura gira diya tumne. Main khila dunga" He tried to reason her.
"Tho tum clean kardena mujhe. Main khaa lungi." She said
"Acha? Tumhe koi problem nahi hogi mere clean karnese?" He asked teasingly.
She shook her head in negation.
He kept the cup aside and moved his hand to her nose and cleaned the ice-cream. She closed her eyes and lost in his touch.
Next Morning:
"Good Morning Wifey" Neil greeted Avni who is battling with her eyes to wake up.
She woke up in a jiffy and tried to understand the position she is in. Neil is in front of her leaning on to the TV stand shirtless, sipping his tea. She wondered why and realized that she is in his shirt with her hair messed up and her dress thrown on the couch nearby.
"Hum kaha per hai?" She asked confused.
"Kya farak padtha hai? Jo hona tha, woh hogaya" he said placing the cup aside and moved towards her.
"Matlab?
"Kya wifey, itna bhi nahi jaanti? Jo normal husband wife ke beech main hota hai wahi hamare beech hua
She understood his little stunt and decided not to give in.
"Shut up Neil! Main jaanti hu ki aisa waisa kuch nahi hua"
"Acha? Tho ye sab kya hai?"
He showed her lipstick marks on his chest and on his neck and on a red mark on her neck by moving her shirt collar aside. It surely looked as a love bite. Neil smirked at her confused expression.
"Accept it Avni, and don't feel bad. Nothing wrong has happened. We are legally wedded couple."
"To the hell with it! You can't do that"
"Excuse me! I didn't do anything. It's you who did everything. I was just trying to help you because you were intoxicated but you being you. You are the one who did all this." He tried to defend himself.
She thought for a while and looked at herself again and something stuck her again.
"If I did something then why didn't you stop me?
"I tried to but how long will I control myself when my own wifey is seducing me?" he asked with a puppy face.
"Neeiilll... Stop it! I know it is a lie. I just know it. Stop saying things which are not true"
She said catching her head with her hands trying to control her thoughts.
"Then explain. Explain the condition of the room wifey." He asked her with a genuine doubt.
She didn't answer.
"Tell me why you are wearing my shirt, why do you have a love bite, why do I have lipstick marks all over me and why is your dress on the couch and most importantly why are we in a hotel room and not at Sukoon ghar?" He asked her messing with her head even more.
"I don't know but all I know is one thing that you wouldn't do it. You wouldn't take advantage of me when am not in my senses." She said with expressing her trust on him.
It's Neil's time to get shocked. He didn't knew that she trusts him so much. It felt good to know that.
"Itna bhi acha nahi hu jitna tum sochthi ho" He didn't give up.
"Okay fine. Then answer my questions
"Shoot
"How many buttons are there on my dress?"
"What?" He asked trying to look at the dress on the couch.
"Don't look there! You undressed me right? Tell me how many buttons were there?
"Oh Come on Avni. You seriously expect me to remember the number of buttons?"
"I don't need the exact number. Just give me ball park figure" She asked with her hands folded across her belly.
"Four I guess"
"There you go! It does not have any buttons. It is a zipper dress. Caught you Neil Khanna." She said while laughing.
Neil closed his eyes in disbelief. How could he not handle one small question? He got caught. He couldn't handle his own wife. Shame on you Neil Khanna! Shame on you He cursed himself.
"See.. I told you that you wouldn't do anything when am not in my senses." She said caging him in her hands across his neck.
He immediately caught her by her waist and pulled her closer.
"You are right. I wouldn't take advantage of your state but now you are sober right? I can do anything now." He warned her looking straight into her eyes.
She got the queue and removed her hands and tried to get out of his embrace but alas! Whom is she kidding? He slowly moved his hand down on her waist and slipped his hand under her shirt and kissed her neck where the supposedly love bite is there.
"Neiill... Chodo mujhe"
"Kaha tha maine ki panga mat lo. Ab li hai tho pachtao"
He picked her up in his arms and threw her on the bed. Literally!
"Aouwww.. Kya kar rahe ho?" She asked when she got hurt by the sudden fall.
"Wahi jo tumhe laga ki main nahi kar saktha
"Neil, dekho. I meant it in a good way. Don't take it on your ego" She tried to make him understand.
"Too late Mrs.Khanna. Lion is out of its cage now. Save yourself if you can
He said leaning on top of her and unbuttoned her shirt to which she didn't budge. She just lied down on the bed still and looked into his dove shaped eyes. More than ego, they had love. Love for her.
He kissed her cheeks and moved down to her neck leaving her lips behind. He kissed the bullet wound on her left bosom which made her grab his hair tight. He freed her from the shirt and showed it its way on the couch where it got company with her dress.
"Neilll" She moaned.
"Hmmm" He mumbled looking into her eyes.
"I hate you" she said wrapping her arms around him with love filled eyes.
"You wish Mrs.Khanna, you wish"
He said locking his lips with hers while his hands explored every curve of her body. He kissed her with passion while she kissed him with love, tender. Neil didn't stop pursuing her and she didn't resist him this time. She knew stopping him would only make the situation worse. The damage is already done. She is in his arms with only her inners and nothing else. What could possibly stop him now? Nothing could and she wouldn't want to. She has controlled herself enough. She loves him goddamit! Why should she? As he said, they are legally wedded couple. He is hers and she is his'. Enough of stepping back.
"Sach sach batao Neil, ye lipstick ke marks mere hai ya kisi aur ke?" She asked with doubt in her eyes.
"Ohooo Mrs. Jealous Khanna, don't worry. No one can do this to me except you. And don't underestimate yourself. If I didn't stop you last night, you would've raped me" he said biting her bosom which made her squirm.
"And you are telling me that you were upset about my behavior last night?"
"Oh no, I was not! I loved the way you seduced me but where is the fun in surrendering? I am a hunter and would love to hunt you."
He unhooked one of the last piece of clothes that is left on her body covering her bosom and dug his face in it.
(Okay, I can't write anymore. Imagine yourself)
