Kaise ho? First of all, I would like to thank you all for liking and encouraging me to write further. I just thought it will be a one shot but thanks to you all, that it turned out to be SS.

Part 5

""Sunehri, Avni kaha hai? Kahi nahi dikhri" He asked with concern when he couldn't find her anywhere in the house.

""Kyu? Reh nahi jaara uske bina?" She asked with a grin.

""Arey yaar, mein seriously puch raha hu. Kahi nahi hai. Kaha chali gayi?"

""Relax Neil. Yahi kahi hogi"

""Arey, it is past 12 and she is nowhere and you are not concerned at all?"

""Oh. Is it? Then you will find her on terrace, talking to her mom. Today is Neela aunty's death anniversary."

""Shit! How did I forget that? It completely slipped my mind. Ok bye. I'll go see her" He immediately left the place without giving sunehri time to respond.

He slowly made his way up the stairs without disturbing her and found her under the moon light shining like a star. Her saree waving with the air and she stood with her hands folded and her eyes plastered on moon. He reached her in few steps with his hands in his jeans pockets and stood beside her.

""Akele akele kya kar rahi ho?" he asked.

""Neil please, mujhe thodi der ke liye akela chod do" she said with her voice chocking.

""Mere saamne rone ke liye sharam arahi hai kya?"

""Why will I cry?" she asked placing her hand on the railing.

Without any delay he held her hand with both of his' and made her face him.

""Avni, listen to me. The more you try to shut it, the more it will haunt you. Cry it out. Let it go. Do you want to know how I survived after you left me? I tried to do the same at first, shut it inside but that didn't help me. I used to cry everyday looking at your pictures. Talking to stars as if they were you. I cried until my tears dried out. Until my heart made peace with reality, that you are gone and never going to be back in my life. It was very hard. The only girl who made her way to my heart, the only girl whom I ever wanted to be with, the girl who was my wife, life, my everything left me to rot in hell. I was angry at myself for not saving you. For letting vidyut rule our lives. For letting him scare you. For everything. Later one day, it stuck me that how will you feel looking at me crying from the other side. You will not be at peace. That day I decided that I will never cry and live my life with the memories that you gave me. The memories that we made together. And here I am, standing hale and healthy in front of you."

He said with pain in his heart and tears in his eyes which made Avni hug him tight. She started crying the moment she landed in his arms. She couldn't control herself and she didn't know whether she is crying because she has lost her Neela maa or because she has hurt Neil to great lengths by leaving him. Any which ways she is letting her pain go away from her. She now has Neil by her side to hold on to but she don't know whether he will be there with her forever or not.

She didn't say word while Neil hugged her tight trying to assure her that he will be there for her no matter what, only if Avni understood.

""Avni" he called her out after few minutes.

""Hmmm" she just mumbled still holding on to him tightly as ever with no intentions of leaving him.

""I don't mind hugging you like this but don't you think we should go down?"

She released him halfheartedly and nodded in agreement without looking into his eyes. He understood that she didn't want to leave and held her hand when she started walking away from him. She stopped in her tracks and looked at him with a what happened'' look.

""Ice cream kahogi?" he asked with glint in his eyes.

""Abhi??"

""Haan abhi"

""Neil, adhi raat ho chuki hai. Pagal hogaye ho kya?"

""Arey yaar, seedhi seedhi jawab do na, khaana hai ki nahi?"

""Haan lekin itni raat ko safe nahi hai"

""Koi baat nahi, agar koi ladki mujhe chedne aagayi tho tum hona mujhe bachane ke liye." He said making her hit him on his chest with a smile on her face.

""Kuch bhi bol dete hona?"

""Arey kya kuch bhi? Itna handsome banda aadhi raat ko bahar jayega tho ladkiya tho peeche aayenge hi na?" He questioned with a genuine concern on his face.

""Nautanki, chalo ab. Ice cream nahi khaani?" She gave the permission to go.

They started walking on the empty roads. Avni folded her hands while Neil is trying to close the distance between them. He slid his hand across her waist and pulled her closer still walking. She didn't stop him instead rested her head on his shoulder still walking on the empty road. He smiled at her gesture but didn't tease understanding the emotional position she is in right now. He didn't want to spoil the moment but the smile faded off of his face when she moved away from him after a while.

""Kya hua?" He asked with a disappointed face to which she signaled her to an ice cream vendor not very far from them and asked him to get it.

He quietly walked towards the ice cream vendor and came back with two cones of ice creams. She smiled looking at her ice cream.

""Why are you smiling?"

""Tumhe mera favorite flavor aaj bhi yaad hai?"

""Yaad karne ke liye kabhi bhula hi nahi"

She started eating her ice cream like a kid without saying a word. He is stealing glances trying to concentrate on his ice cream. While he was looking at her child like face, his ice cream fell off from his hand bringing him back from his trance.

""Oops! Tumhari ice cream tho gayi. Ek kaam karte hai, phir se chalte hai, woh wahi hoga." She said turning around.

He held her hand and made her turn around.

""Kya hua?" she asked.

""Hum share karlenge" He suggested.

""Main apna ice cream share nahi karungi" she said making a puppy face enough for him to melt.

""Koi baat nahi, tum apna ice cream kha lo aur main apna khaa lunga"

""Woh kaise? Tumhara Ice cream tho gir gaya" She asked with an innocent face and took a bite from her dessert.

Neil leaned forward towards her lips to have his share of ice cream. Avni understood his intentions fast enough this time and jerked behind to which he moved forward reducing the distance between them.

""Sunehri tum?" She asked with a shock on her face looking behind Neil to which he immediately moved back feeling embarrassed.

He didn't find anyone behind his back but he heard Avni's giggles. He immediately turned towards her with a frown on his face and she ran before he could catch her.

""Avni ki bachi, ruko tum" He ordered her which she royally ignored.

She ran everywhere on the empty road laughing and trying to evade him but he was no less than her and followed her on every step and finally caught her breathing hard.

""Neil, chodo mujhe" She tried to get out of his grip still laughing and catching her breath.

""Kabhi kabhi aise has liya karo" Saying he left her hand.

She didn't reply instead finished her ice-cream in silence. They resumed their walk post that and suddenly Avni started feeling cold and started rubbing her arms with her hands.

""Feeling cold?" He asked.

""Haan"

""Tho phir jaldi chalo, dheere dheere kyu chal rahi ho?"

She stood at her place without moving forward with her mouth open in disbelief. He stopped when he realized that she is not beside him and looked backwards and asked what has happened.

""How rude?" She complained.

""What?"

""Kuch nahi" She didn't say anything else and started walking.

""Oh please, don't expect me to offer you my jacket like some movie hero"

""Why not?" She asked.

""Because I am no Sharukh and you are no Kajol"

""Then who are we?"

""I am Neil and you are my Avni"

""Kya fayda, mujhe ek jacket bhi nahi de sakthe tum" She whined again.

""Ek option hai"

""Kya?"

""You can hug me" saying he extended his arms with a smile.

""Kuch bhi" She started walking again.

He caught her wrist and pulled her back and hugged her tight.

""Neil, kya kar rahe ho? Hum beech sadak pe khade hai" She reminded him that this is no place for romance.

He hugged from side and half covered her with his one side of the jacket and started walking towards home. As they walk towards their destination with each other in their hearts, nature has planned something else for them. It starts pouring all of a sudden making them drench within minutes. Avni looks around trying to find a place to shelter themselves till the rain stops and she runs towards it when she finds one. She looks back at Neil who is in no mood to hide. He opened his arms as if he is welcoming the rain and is enjoying the rain looking at sky. He asked her to come to him with gestures. She didn't budge and stood there where she is standing.

Neil ran towards her while she tried to escape but alas! He soon reached her and picked her up in his arms and walked towards road making her drench completely.

""Neil, neeche utharo" She asked while swimming in air.

He laughed at her antics and made her stand on ground but didn't let go off her.

""Neil hum bheeg rahe hai, chalo ghar chalte hai"

""Dance?"

""Kya?"

""Pleaseee" He asked with his puppy face to which she couldn't decline.

He slid his right hand across her bare waist and held her right hand in his left and danced to the tune of their heart beat. His eyes did not leave her all the while and Avni looked at him feeling his gaze on her. She looked into his eyes which had the desire to kiss her. She slowly moved her hand away from his shoulder and took her pallu and pulled it from behind and moved it towards her head and extended it onto him covering both of them. Neil remembered how he has done the same thing on Janmashtami with her.

""Ab maan bhi jao meri maa"

She nodded in disagreement.

""Acha? Itna guroor huh? Hmmm, tumhe pata hai, main yah ape apna sar poch raha hu aur bahar logon ko kya lag raha hoga? Ki andar kya horaha hai? Zara socho"

And then he drags the cloth in which they were covered and ties it around his head and moves away.

He smiled remembering the incident and this time he didn't want to move away. His heart didn't want to. He closed the distance between and them and kissed her lightly on her lips. She didn't resist this time instead wrapped her hands around his neck and pulled him towards her. Neil smiled across her lips with her action and deepened the kiss tightening his grip around her bare wet waist.

Part 6

Avni woke up early in the morning and went straight to kitchen after getting freshen up. She prepared a cup of coffee, placed it neatly on a tray and made her way to Neil's room with an unknown smile on her face.

"Arey Neelanjana, where are you going?" Sunehri asked.

"Woh.. Co.. Coffee... N.. Neil ke liye" She stumbled on her words as she didn't know how would she take her sudden care towards Neil.

Sunehri understood what Avni was going through and decided to tease her a bit.

"Acha.. Give it to me. I'll take it to his room." She offered help.

"Nahi! I mean.. it's ok. I even have to wake up mowgli. So, I'll go give it to him." She resisted.

"Okay. Fine. And ya, thoda sambhalke utana use. Police wala hai. Kya pata neend main kya karlega" She warned with a mischievous grin on her face.

"Sunehri.. He is Neil. I know him very well. So don't worry. Nothing will happen" She assured her.

"Haan, haan. Main kaun hoti hu, pati patni ke beech mein aane wali. Jao jao, apne pati ko utao." She left the place with fake anger.

Avni reached the room and saw Neil and Mowgli sleeping peacefully. They were looking so cute together, just like father and son. Neil's hand is on mowgli and the kid's leg is on Neil. She couldn't help but smile looking at them. She reached to the right side of the bed and ruffled Mowgli's hair trying to wake him up.

"5 mins, Jaan didi. Pleaseee" He pleaded with his puppy face with half opened eyes.

"Mowgli, uto. Bohut late hogaya. School nahi jaana?" She tried again.

He woke up uninterested and asked again whether he can sleep for few more minutes to which Avni declined and asked him to go and freshen up. Once Mowgli was out of the room, she slowly moved towards the left side and stared at Neil who is sleeping peacefully. With ruffled hair and a light lipstick mark near his lips, he looked irresistible. She couldn't help but blush looking at the lipstick mark near his lips remembering last night's kiss in rain. She sat on the little space beside him on the bed and cupped his face with her left hand. She moved towards his face to kiss him on his lips but decided against it and kissed his left cheek which made her hair fall on his face waking him up.

He didn't know what was happening with him the moment he opened his eyes but his reflexes were fast enough than him which made him grab her hand which was cupping his face and pulled her hard which made her land on bed beside him and he made his way on top of her with a horrified look on his face.

"Neil.. Kya kar rahe ho?" His adrenaline levels came back to normal after looking at Avni's face. He breathed a sigh of relief and loosened the grip on Avni's hands. Just when Avni got relieved and tried to move out, the grip on the hands became strong again making her go in shock this time. She looked at Neil not knowing what was happening.

"Tum kya kar rahi thi?" He asked with confusion and smirk on his face.

"Kya?? Main tumhare liye coffee leke aayi aur tumhe uta rahi thi aur tum mujhpe hi attack kar rahe ho?" She asked with anger.

"Coffee tak sahi boli. Lekin agar uta rahi thi tho mere itne kareeb kyu thi? You didn't even call my name. Ho kya raha hai?"

"Are you interrogating me Mr.Khanna?" She asked him trying to avoid his questions.

"Ohoo Mrs.Khanna. I know you very well. Stop questioning me back and answer my question."

"Why should I answer you?"

"That means you are hiding something. And even you know me very well and you also know that I am not leaving you unless you tell me the truth." Saying he rested his head on her heart and pulled her closer with his hand on her waist making her gasp in fear.

"Neil, chodo mujhe. Koi aajayega" She pleaded trying to get out of his grip.

"Tho phir batao mujhe, kya kar rahi thi?" He asked still holding her by her waist and kissing her on the nape of her neck.

Resisting Neil Khanna is an impossible task. If she stays in his embrace, she will melt like snow under the fire. Oh yeah! Neil Khanna is no less than fire and resisting fire is not a good idea. But, can she take the risk of letting him know what she was doing so near to him when he was asleep? She didn't think so. That's a suicide mission. There is no way in the hell that she can come back safely after. On the other hand, can she afford to let him do whatever he is doing? That's not a fair option either. Lord help her! Yes. Only lord can help her right now.

"Dekho, is se pehle main main kuch aur kaam kardu, bata do ki kya kar rahi thi" He demanded placing a kiss on her cheek and tried to remove the over coat of her night dress by removing the knot of the thread which was keeping the overcoat in its place.

Avni understood the danger she is in right now and made up her mind to escape the situation.

"Tumhe kaise pata ki main sach bol rahi hu ya jhoot?" She asked.

"Kyunki main tumhara pati hu wifey" He whispered in his husky voice with his eyes plastered on her lips.

He is in no mood to let go. She needs to think of something fast before the situation becomes out of control. Think Avni, think

"Ma.. Main bas apna challenge pura kar rahi thi" She declared.

"What? What do you mean and what challenge?" He asked confused.

"Tumne hi kal mujhe challenge ki thi na ki I should kiss you without any support. There.. I did it. Happy?

He remembered how he called her Chotu and the way she got offended by the same and now she is using it as an excuse for her Kiss. Neil could not control his smile after listening to her.

"Hmmm, tikhe I agree that you won the challenge but I have one more question for you"

"Ab kya hai?"

"When you gave me my cup back after removing the ball, I saw a lipstick mark on it. Any idea whose it could be?"

"How am I supposed to know?

He didn't budge.

"Oh Come on Neil. When you know the truth, why do you ask?" She asked irritated.

"Because I want to listen it from your mouth. You know, it is more romantic that way.

"Meri chodo, tum mujhe ye batao. Tum aise teenager jaise kab se ban gaye? Pehle tho aise nahi the."

"Kya karu Avni, tumne mujhe Romeo bana diya

He said removing his grip on her hand and she pushed him back when he started caressing her lips. Before Neil could grab her again, she ran into washroom and locked herself in.

"Kab tak bhagogi Avni, aana tho tumhe mere pass hi" He said moving out of the room.

Avni closed her eyes behind the shut door and started remembering all the moments she spent with Neil in the last 24 hours. From the moment he came and demanded a kiss on her Til till the very last minute when he wanted something else which is more than just Kiss. She opened the shower and let her thoughts flow along with the water that is drenching every curve of her body.

She dried herself with towel and searched for her clothes and realized that she forget to get her clothes as she was busy battling her romantic husband. As there is nothing that she could do, she covered herself with towel and opened the door and found her husband on the bed looking at her as if he knew that this was going to happen.

"Hello sweetheart" He waved at her with a perfect smile adorning his lips.

She immediately closed the door and hid behind it.

"Neil, tum tho bahar gaye the na? Yaha kya kar rahe ho?"

"Haan gaya thot ha lekin phir socha ki biwi naha rahi hai tho madad kar let ahu. Tho yaha agaya.

"Neil shut up and get out!" She ordered him.

"Chill Darling. No one is here except your hubby. I even closed the door. You can come out."

"Neil Mazak mat karo. Main serious hu. Tum yaha se jao warna.. ""

"Warna kya my love?"

She didn't respond and looked everywhere trying to find out any other way when she heard Neil say again.

"Dekho, agar tum bahar nahi aayi tho mujhe andar aana padega"

"Nahi.. ruko. Main aa rahi hu bahar"

She came out wearing his oversized shirt with her hair flowing on her shoulders and her head down. Neil looked at her hoping she would be wrapped in a towel and got surprised to see her in shirt, his shirt. His lips curled into a smile. She looked adorable when she tried to cover her thighs by pulling the shirt down and bending a little.

"Sexy" is the only word that managed to escape from his mouth which made her look at him in reflex with a shocked expression on her face.

"Kya? Main apni biwi ko sexy bhi nahi bol saktha?" He asked when she scowled looking at him.

"Neil ab tum bahar jao aur mujhe change karne do" she said pushing him towards the door.

"Tikhe.. Give me my shirt and I'll go" he asked turning towards her side.

"De dungi.. You go first. I'll change and give it to you."

"Nahi. Mujhe abhi ke abhi chahiye"

He caught the collar of her shirt and tried to remove buttons which immediately made Avni catch his hands tight to avoid him doing it.

"Neil, ab bohut hogaya. Ab tak tho Mazak kar rahe the. Ab main serious hu. Tum bahar jao. Aur haan, ye mat bhulna ki main ab bhi wahi Avni hu jo gundon ko maar girayi thi

He chuckled at her warning and moved towards her with his hands folded while Avni moved back still showing him her index finger as a warning sign. She stepped back until she got stopped by a wall with Neil in front of her looking her with a challenging eye. He took out his mobile phone and started playing a song.

"If you can reach the cupboard and take your clothes from it before the song finishes then I'll never touch you without your permission again. But if you lose, you'll have to do whatever I say. Deal?

"Deal"

She agreed and pushed him back with both of her hands and started moving from side. Neil immediately caught her hand and pulled her back with force making her land on his chest. He caught her both hands and placed them on her back and held her close making her go red in anger. She wriggled her hands in his grip but in vain. Neil is enjoying looking at her like a stuck puppy which made him kiss her cheek.

She kicked him in stomach with her knee making him leave her hands. She gave him a victorious smile and made her way to the cupboard. He regained himself within seconds and ran towards her and stood between her and her destination.

"Not so soon sweetheart" He said with a smirk on his face.

He moved forward and picked her up in his arms and started moving towards bed while she started swimming in air and hitting him on his chest at the same time. Her bare skin on his hands is making him vulnerable but he made sure that it is not visible on his face. He placed her on bed and started removing his shirt buttons scaring Avni. She tried to hit him with her leg but Neil caught her leg in air and kissed it. He removed his shirt and threw it somewhere in the room. He slipped his hand under her shirt and moved it up revealing her navel. While he was lost in her beauty and drawing circles with his index finger on her navel, she pushed him back making him land on the bed and she got on top of him showing him a fist.

"How about this Neil Khanna?" She asked still showing her fist.

"Song has ended long back Mrs. Khanna. Admit it. You lost the bet." Saying he caught the end of her shirt and pulled it making her fall on him. He wrapped his arms around her and demanded her to kiss him. Without any drama, she placed her lips on his' surprising him.

"Only because I lost the bet" she said pulling out from the kiss.

"Bold Wifey, very bold. And I like this Avni much more than the previous one."

She got up and took her clothes from cupboard and move to washroom without looking at Neil in the process. Not even once.

Wifey is definitely angry Neil thought and laid down on bed trying to think of the ways to pacify her.
