The Past of Both Leads Need to Play Out!

I think many are frustrated that the Pandit's track is very long and it doesn't look like it's stopping anytime soon. But there is some logic behind it. Avni's past track played out for more than 6 months and this to all effects is Neil's past track.

Avni had her score to settle with Daya and now Neil has it with Ragini and Vidyut. Because in a sense, they did ruin his life. First RP abducted Juhi, (when Neil was engaged to her), turned her into Meher. Juhi then got involved with Vidyut to try and escape RM and in the process got pregnant. Neil became a Police officer to try and avenge victims of crime like Juhi.

This eventually led to him crossing paths with the love of his life Avni. After a stormy courtship (if it can be called that) they got married and from that point onwards the drama in their life only increased. The path to true love is fraught with problems as we all know. So there was no smooth sailing for these two.

Neil started investigating a trafficking ring, and it was coincidentally the same trafficking ring that abducted Juhi. I think the way they re-integrated Juhi to the story and made RP and her gang connected with Daya in jail was a well thought out plot. Eventually it comes out that she's alive, they save her, she fakes about the kid and eventually gets killed. But the high point is that Vidyut kills Juhi but frames Avni and once again, separates Neil from a woman he loves. But this time, this is one woman he won't be able to move on from. But this time Vidyut wants to get Neil's wife for himself. He clearly had a thing for Juhi, which he got over. He felt betrayed by her, but he was no longer in love with her. But he is obsessed with Avni. So once again, Neil's life is getting ruined by the Pandit's.

Avni has her own scores to settle with them too. Its personal for her now, coz they abducted her Mother and then she is also attached to Mishti. Plus, they played mind games with her to try and get her to leave her husband. I think we are going to have to tolerate the Pandit's for a bit longer for their story to conclude logically. Just cutting them from the story in 2 weeks wont achieve that. This show has a story, unlike some shows that run on weddings, parties and festivals with outlandish wardrobe changes. Let's just see where this is going for at least 2 more weeks before we go up in arms. The head CV resigned too. So they need some time to re-group.

This show deserves at least another 6 month run. I will be very upset if they don't make it to SPA and win the awards they richly deserve. Favourite International Jodi...AvNeil-AdiZa's name is written on that, and I want them to get it!

I hope atleast Avni comes out of jail by next week

Well said the Pandits are not going anywhere anytime soon but they have in no way affected the story, they are driving it forward. The current track is not dragging, the pace is really good and it seems by next week Avni will be out of jail but this fight with the Pandits is far from over. I am okay with this though, I want to see how things play out. Give the CVs time, like you said this show is driven on an actual story instead of weddings and lollipop scenes. I am actually invested in this story and I want to see the show last another six months. I hope the TRPs go up and CVs can carry out their vision for this track

Absolutely true! NK deserves a long run on TV. It has a different story from the rest of the shows and I look forward to see how the track plays out...

Story wise VR and RP can be kept, but they need to show more of light hearted sequence now and later they can bring them back,hope later also when drama is brought ,it should not be only high drama, it should be mixed with both drama and happy light hearted family ,Avneil sequences like before Juhi track

The show surely needs positive sequences. We have had too much of high voltage drama and the balance between positive and negative has gone for a toss! That balance must return. As an audience I want to see happy moments too. Every occasion is jinxed in NK world. CVs need to bring in more dimension to the story.

I am sure the balance will return once Avni is out of jail which will be soon. We just need to sit back and let the track take its course, we are reaching the climax and we can see how things go from there

Completely agree with you this show is different from any other show out there and deserves every bit of appreciation and adiza deserves to win awards

When avni's past played out for 6 months no one felt bored because there was a lot of positivity around that track and we did have a lot of breathers in between the only issue with Neil's past has been the constant negativity around it and no happy family times in last 4 months I can just say there has been 3-4 episodes where we have seen carefree leads that's too much to take as an audience no matter how different a show is Itv audiences have some set expectations which are not met in this track which is why there is so much backlash I don't mind pandits sticking around but Avni needs to get out of jail and I guess that's when the backlash will be stopped
