His hand slammed onto the glass

Avni reached out for him

He dropped to the floor, sobbing

Avni held him close to her as she hummed

Neil gulped, his eyes remaining on her lips
Shweta stood , leaning around the corner watching, a smile on her lips as she walked away

Neil's lips brushed against hers ever so lightly, his hand on her cheek, he turned his head to the side for better access

Pushing Avni onto the kitchen floor, he leaned ontop of her , careful not to put his weight onto her as he continued the kiss

Shweta walked back in , dragging a girl with her
Neil pulled away from Avni quickly

Avni pulled herself up

Juhi wrapped her arms around him "God Neil, im so glad to see you, it took ages to find you"

Pausing he turned to face Avni

Avni shook her head "I want to go back to my room can you take me please"

Shweta walked over to Avni, ready to take her to her room

"What happened to your face, did he do this to you"
Avni froze

Juhi reached up to touch it but Neil pulled back

"We can get rid of it easily, remove all marks of him and carry on our lives , I know a good doctor and "

Avni turned around fast
"Whats wrong with it"

Avni walked out still, Neil looked over to Juhi
"Arent you happy to see me, who is she"

Neil wasn't sure what Avni was, she wasnt just a friend anymore
His only issue, that his heart wasnt beating as fast as it was with Avni as Juhi held his hand

Neil told Juhi to get some rest, walking over to Avni's door, he knocked
"Come in" she sniffed, was she crying?

Neil walked in, shutting the door behind him

"Avni look"
Avni wiped her eyes "No, I know it was a mistake, I get it"

Neil pulled her up, holding her "No, Avni, nothing ever is a mistake with you, you found a way to see the real me without even being able to see what I look like"

"But shes back, the woman you love"
"Just trust me Avni"

Avni cupped his face, snuggling into her hand he sighed

Neil kissed her forehead
"Thank you for being you Avni"

Juhi looked up at Neil
"Are you sleeping with her"

"What, no, I'm looking out for her, look Juhi a lot has changed"
Juhi stood up

"Changed, what do you mean changed, I have been through so much because of my love for you, yet some blind bitch arrives and I'm forgotten"

"Juhi" Neil shouted
"Dont speak about her that way"

Juhi began to cry "You owe me this, after all I have done for you, you owe me love"

Standing on her tiptoes, she pressed a kiss to his lips, he struggled falling back

"Juhi no, I can't"
"Why not" she screamed

His breathing was laboured as he wiped his mouth

She stood back, in shock

Shweta walked in
"Take her to yours please, I need time"

Shweta nodded, pulling a crying Juhi away
Neil huffed loudly, making his way to Avni's room

"Avni are you"
Avni pulled the door open, she stood with her arms out, waiting

Neil pulled her to him
Avni rubbed his back

"I heard everything"
Neil looked down at her

"And what"

Neil kissed her cheek

"Shall we carry on what happened in the kitchen" Neil said suggestively
Avni smirked "Neil, please"

Neil stroked her cheek "Stay with me tonight"
Avni nodded, allowing him to take her hand

Walking to Neil's room, she felt around for the bed
Sitting down, she pulled her legs up and scooted over

Neil got in, wrapping his arm around her waist, he held her tightly
His head in her hair

Closing his eyes, Neil had his first sleep without nightmares in years

Neil woke up to a body curved into him
He pushed Avni's hair from behind her face, tucking it behind her ear

Getting up he stretched
Neil turned around to look at Avni one more time, pulling the blanket over her

Walking into the kitchen he downed a glass of water before sighing heavily
Tonight was a very drastic turn of events and he wasn't sure how to handle Juhi

Sure a part of him would always love Juhi, but everything was just so different with Avni

Avni pulled herself out of bed, getting ready she walked to the kitchen
Neil turned to see her


"How do you manage to still look so good when youve just woken up"
Avni blushed

Stretching his arms out he tugged her forward
"Have you spoken to Juhi today"

Neil sighed heavily, what he had felt for Juhi had been nothing in comparison to what he already felt for Avni in such a short time

"I have nothing I need to say to her, she knows her place"
"But what if youre caught up on the magic of moments but she is who you really want"

Neil shook his head "You never made me change, never asked for me to, it isnt the magic of moments, its you Avni, it always has been, you're the one ive been waiting for , for so long without knowing"

But Avni was Correct . What if it was just a spur of moment . But Neil can't be more clear about what he feels for Avni

I can't imagine Neil with fire injury 😭

This part was a bliss ...I mean beautifully written...but still can't imagine blind Avni...
