Part 24-
Vidyut had been pronounced dead on scene, she claimed it was defence and the police had dropped her to the hospital
Avni walked into Neil's room, he sat up "What are you doing here"
"I know I may not deserve forgiveness, if I dont get it, thats okay, today I killed Vidyut, because I would rather go to prison then see you dead, I left to protect you and I wont apologise for that, I did what I had to, to keep you safe and I would do it again"
Neil looked up at her speechless "He's dead? So you didn't go back to him because I wasn't enough"
Avni grasped his hand but he pulled it back
"You're my guardian angel, without you I never would have had the strength to fight him, maybe im stupid and you dont feel the same way but I love you Neil"
Neil's eyes rimmed with tears
"You taught me what love is, you taught me how I should be loved and how to love in return and I know this hasn't been easy but oh god do I love you, so much it hurts, but its the good kind of pain and if you cant take me back I get it because those moments you gave me I will make last a lifetime"
Avni turned on her heel, walking out, she broke down
Neil pulled off all the wires attached to him and ran out
"Avni " his shout echoed
She stopped and turned around
"Good god, I love you to"
Avni smiled as she ran toward him
"Youre an idiot, but you're my idiot, are you hurt"
Avni shook her head "I'll be fine "
Neil bent down, kissing her forehead
"Marry me Avni"
Avni wrapped her arms around his neck
"I thought you'd never ask"
Hey! So I was originally going to bring Ragini Pandit into this as the grieving mother who takes refugee in Neil and Avni's house
But I'm not so sure, I dont want the story to lose flavour and I dont want to see it simmer out
So I'm still not sure
This is the end of this story, i'm not sure wether to write a part 2 but I do have another idea for a story and if anyone had any ideas also let me know!
