What a wonderful post!

The way I see it, Neil feels that if Avni is angry towards him, it will distract her from thoughts of Vidyut and wanting to escape prison, hence his cold and distant behaviour. However, our Avni is no damsel in distress! 😆

Also, Zain's hair looks so much better without all that gel! And he seems to be getting taller every episode! 😆

I feel it's more a matter of vision, I can't really think about which is the ideal way to react, because there is none, it's very relative and it depends on many things!

Avni has mixed feelings, anger, hurt, disappointment, but a lot of love and Neil loves her and whether we believe it or not he knows he hurt her and he feels her hurt and we can see it through small subtle details but he is still putting up a facade, what he wants to do or what he really feels is what he saw in his dream, those bone crushing hugs, those kisses, those tears, that breaking voice, saying he is a gunegar but having hope to fixe it all and make up for it to her, that look and that pause when he was asked whether he wants lunch to be ordered for him and he said he wants the same lunch as inmates (as his Avni actually, similar to when he was shown sleeping on the floor like her!), his look when he was watching her through CCTV cameras, the sigh, then the way he sniffed and cleared his voice when he was talking to Neela Ma over the phone.

How many times we feel deeply hurt or in pain, like we want to burst into tears but we control because we don't want others to see what we feel, sometimes we feel painful things, which are very hurtful deep inside, only we know how much but on the outside we maintain a certain composure for our dignity, for ourselves, for some purpose this is how it happens with many people, same goes for Avni, do u think she felt nothing when she saw him! She did! The love of her life was standing there in front of her eyes after 6months of separation! but she has that haunting memory of him treating her harshly and the idea of him not trusting her hence she was trying to remind herself of that, that she can't get weak, if he didn't care for love and didn't trust her then she won't believe in love either from now on! I feel Avni is trying hard to convince herself that she doesn't believe in love, that she shouldn't but love is there and whether we admit it or not love has the power to mitigate other feelings or intensify them, it depends !

I'm sure her anger will erupt like a volcano, now she is still quite composed be it in her love or in her anger, but the moment Neil will push it further trying to prevent her from running away, I feel she will be nothing less than a bomb who would blast on his face.

Well said.
And like I said in my post too, the little details were very well depicted and Zain was brilliant in them.
Both of them are concealing a part of them from each other.

Neil is concealing his guilt and the reason he did what he did.
Avni on the other hand is concealing what she has truly become (reckless from within albeit in a calm way) and her strategies to escape of course.

When these two contrast bottled emotions finally explode, it will be quite a magnetic force if we even think of it.
But my issue is not that, my point is how well are the CVs going to depict it because honestly I am finding the impactful intensity missing whenever AvNeil are face to face. In introspection, the intensity is soaring high, as we can see in Avni's suffer in silence clips when she is alone in her cell or Neil's expressions when he is looking at Avni through the CCTV footage.

And again, I still don't know why Neil is willingly riling Avni up when he already knows she is suffering for a crime she didn't even commit.
The mangalsutra breaking and sindoor wiping were in itself so brutal as we have previously discussed and he could have just been verbal with her, but no, he went steps ahead and that memory still haunts her and now Neil is only adding more to the hurt baggage on Avni by saying she would expect special treatment because she is his wife.

I don't know which course this is going to take because looks like the jail track will be dragged beyond our imagination and also SP's new gif showcases more like Neil will put Avni in solitary confinement though I am not 100% sure of it.

Again, I only want to know how he thinks he would redeem or make it up to her after this is over given he is piling up the repugnance in her by hurting her with his words and action both. And the fundamental reason here for me to be concerned about it is the fact that the writers of Indian TV 99% of the times are utter failure when it comes to showing a redemption track.

Never got that in IPKKND and by the looks of it, I don't think it is happening rightly here either.

Strictly my POV.

Just now watched the episode.. All my excitement that was intact till last week drained down so fast...
I was absolutely prepared for worse with no expectations but still the episode left me with nothing..literally nothing at all...

Never thought any Avni-Neil scene can make me feel less but today CVs successfully proved it that they can do it.. They're just killing my feels for them.. I'd no emotions for them..Avni's anger is something that I could've enjoyed for a while but that too was bland for my liking..Their typical serial music background.. As if giving scenes for VM making.. 😆I can'tt even make fun of it all because the episode itself was a spoof of their own work..

Onlyy emotion I'd was for Sunheri on seeing DD. That's the laughter emotion. 😆n
An as usual the silly banter between Tara-Sitaraa..😆n

I understand what u mean Simi, and I'm sucker of intensity as well, but I'm willing to wait.
I might be the odd one here but for me it's not about redemption, it's about realisation, introspection and retrospection, it's a whole process and I want them both to go through it

I feel Neil was just trying to distract her from her mission "prison break" and what he said about don't expect special treatment, he meant that her cell will be ckecked anyways, it was a way to say that he will find out in case she is planning to run away and at the same time he planned all those "summer camp" activities to distract her. Someone has made a post few days before, maybe he is doing the same he did post their marriage when he tried to distract her with house hold chores and pleasing family members to distract her from going behind DVM!

Neil would never hurt her intentionally unless he feels there is no other way (or so he thinks!) but bottom line, for me men who really need to prove themselves are those male leads who keep misunderstanding their wives, go for revenge drama and turn their lives into a nightmare on purpose because they think their poor wives deserve it or because of their ego issues, there a long redemption is needed but in a case where a man loves his wife to bits and suffers as well, I think what is needed is his introspection about his harsh ways whether they are that efficient or whether there is no other way, but in no case I think Neil deserves to suffer. An apology where he really realises where he went wrong is what is needed. what matters to me is them learning from their past mistakes and fully understanding things, holding grudges against each other isn't fruitful in anyway. As for me despite Neil being wrong for not telling her the truth till now, for me Avni too has a long way to go in terms of introspection and retrospection about things that happened even way before this situation was created.

Againt that's my point of view. My feelings for Avni and what she is suffering won't turn me blind to the necessity of coming out from this experience with valuable lessons in life and in relationships.

Imagine a scenario where Neil keeps pacifying her and doing things for her, trying to make up to her for what she went through (it's all fine by me Avni deserve all the love because she is a wonderful person and because she went through so much) and Avni being hard on him and at the end showing her badapan and forgiving him without any introspection about her contribution to things, how is that serving their relationship or Avni in her individual progress and growth?!!

For me both their growth as individuals and as a couple are important, if one's mistakes will be overlooked just because the other did mistakes while reacting to the situation and hence having to apologize and make it up for the other then where is the growth!!!

I know many would disagree with me, because the emotional side would overule and emotions are hard to be ignored but in my head what I said about introspection and retrospection makes sense and this is how I think about it, others might not think the same which is fine, I was just trying to explain my point of view 😊

The cvs need to up their game. Not us! Our expectations are rightly placed. We did give them a clean chit for a hopeless tract like juhi's. And then, we got all excited for the upcoming track when they promoted it, didn't we?? Then??

They must deliver what they had promised in promos.

I wanted to go with the characters flow and the emotions that they can trigger in me.. Here the characters themselves look so lost and not sure why within the same episode they've no consistency and I was openly waiting for them to create some emotions in me.. Like I wanted to feel sorry for Neil but noo he couldn't make me feel bad or sorry for him.. I wanted to feel sad for Avni but today she too failed to create that emotions in me.. I could've at least taken that they both behave completely out of their character because they're meeting after 6 months.. Even that point failed me because I really couldn't connect at all with their scenario.. All thanks to bad writing.. If Neil is there only because he wants to investigate who's trying to escape and want to confirm that it's not Avni.. Then at least keep him true to his suspicion and not make him waver between here and there losing his consistency.. And Avni has doubts that he has visited only because he's got some doubts then they could've kept that on focus and make their meeting inevitable.. But they made a kichdi out of everything finally achieving nothing.. If the characters are not kindling those emotions automatically and the viewers are expected to trigger it on their own assuming things then we should know that the writing is failing miserably..

Anyway I'm glad that I'm getting detached from the characters and the storyline.. I didn't think that my excitement will go down this fast but happy in some way.. High time I pull myself out of the addiction from the show and the forum.. Glad that at least few of us think it's not upto the mark.. Thanks to you all for your honest opinion.. 🤗
