I agree Naamkarann is not the most logical shows, but according to me it is currently the most logical one on ITA. I have sat through and watched way worse shows(worse to the T), until I stopped watching any ITV shows, even the reality shows.
But Naamkarann was like a breath of fresh air. I am not saying that it is the most logical one but both the lead characters are written so beautifully and with so much love, and when they show good content 90% of the time why not? Before Juhi track there were no drag scenes. Every new track would get over by a week or two and to add to that the chemistry of lead pair and acting of all the characters. It is just phenomenol..Never have I loved any side characters before watching this show.
I cannot expect ITV to have shows like Sherlock or even Westworld for that matter, but when they have a good script, I can ignore my logical brain for few minutes until and unless it is not getting damaged by seeing some really unbelievable shit. At the end of the day we are watching it for entertainment...and yesterday's episode was very entertaining...it had its flaws but entertaining nonetheless.
I remember I had recently watched a small part of some show and I laughed out throughout. The patient who was actually paralyzed was declared dead and sent for postmortem...like how?! And the patient was saying don't do this don't do this in her mind. They would have continued with the postmortem if power wouldn't have gone😆
On ITV, where most of trp generating audience are aunties, who have been watching Ekta Kapoor shows since years, cannot digest logical shit. And because of this shows like POV:Bandi Yuddh ke which are actually very phenomenal don't get trps.
So I get it when our Cv's bring in Maa Durga, Ram Bhagwaan, Sita Maiyaa, Ravan, Mangalsutra, Sindoor and all. They have to, because trp audience love it.
Apart from this, Naamkarann Cv's have always tried to think different. In an industry dominated by a species of sacrificial females, we have a badass Avni who has brains as well as beauty. We also have Neil who unlike any other ML actually has a job, is very intelligent and loving, is NOT MCP. And main thing he doesn't shy away from calling himself Joru ka Gulaam...😆

So about this current track, I know we saw many flaws in the writing but I hope they correct it now. Especially the one in characterization because this show is nothing if not for Avni and Neil's characters. What I want is the intelligent and extremely smart Neil back. The one who made Avni drink that Haldi wala doodh in which she had added sleeping pills, the one who made Avni return from airport back to him, the one who flopped all the plans of Avni😆
I hope we get him back soon because he is going to need it in order to manaofy his wife.

@bold: this is what makes me watch the show, relentlessly, no matter what. That is the basic characteristics of these characters. And yes, NK is nothing without AvNeil.
Now, what I have deciphered with regards to current track is everyone one is pretty happy as to how Avni is being potrayed. Her storyline is clear, well written and gripping.

And it is somehow Neil's character that we all want to know aboit more. Which has to be explained explored and told. His thought process, his anger, his frustration. I hope cvs take a clue and come up with intense Neil scenes. Because, I remember one of the best performance Zain had given was when after the dvm arrest when Neil had broken down in the bathroom with the prospect of losing avni. And now, in the current scenario, when he knows that she had loved him and has lost her despite that, that anguish needs to come through. Basically, the sadist in me wants to see Neil cry. And yes, the brains need to be back. High time.
