exactly. I was super thrilled at the beginning of the track. And I am even thrilled now. courtesy no drag and brilliant actors. But the whole "neo" story and why Neil made this decision or the moment when he made it is important for me to know. Whether it was out of frustration against the whole "police system " he is a sworn member of or it was some other thing like a connection to Avni's way of solving things that made him deviate from his original "do not cross the line" stance.Originally posted by: Push-pull
I was very much excited about the track before it even started because I thought there's good potential in this to showcase each of the characters' strength in their own ways.. Neil's strength in his intelligence towards solving cases.. Be it legal or taking help from outside but somehow trying things wisely.. Even if it had meant to show a quick flashes before starting the leap that he having discussion with his team projecting something on the screen đ
And somewhere finding clues but then got deviated by Vidyut leaving him with nothing. His frustration would've been wonderful to watch.. Then this is all good going with the flow.. If the CVs intended to keep the background of Neo as a suspense then it's not working at all.. When they show the suspense it'll only look like a damage control.. đ By then the charm of the Neo character is lost..And in case the CVs still intend to keep the clues left unopened and to use the same to finally trap Vidyut then that's the biggest fallback on Neil.. He had been just going round and round not cracking any of them?If the CVs want us to like Neo then they need to give the background for Neo.. Else they'll lose charm in this Neo.. Poor guy Neil is doing so much and we are only at least me đ€Șonly waiting to troll him.. đ
this was very insightful. Thank you! Yes happy characters are the best characters. And I totally agree with you that NK is a very unique show. Not only with regards to it's pace but also the story line. Some where down the line it always highlights social issues.Originally posted by: darsh333
This is something that should be certainly dicussed after the juhi mishap that happened with usđđŒ
Juhi track has taken a huge toll on the audience..nk lost its essence/charm during the past 3 months..this brought us to the conclusion that anything other than juhi (her ss..acting..)can be tolerated by us..and yes i would like to appreciate our fandom for showing such patience with that trackđ and indeed that has changed the tolerance and thinking scales of the audience..đSerials are meant to be illogical in someway or the other or else how can they take the drama forward??So i can ignore small illogical stuffs or bloopers..for eg our nk calender, not discussing about the evidences throughly(it should be ignored only then then story can move forward)As said in the post..there shouldn't be much drag..nk is known for its 4g speed till the rangmahal track..so i want the episodes to move in a good speed so that it doesn't look like im watching the same storyline even after 2 weeksHappy moments is something i eagerly wait for..sadly nk rarely shows iti would love to see avneil going on a road trip..talking about things peacefully without planning,plotting..Avneil scenes is something that makes the episode too good..i don't insist on romantic scenes..even an emotional or tashan scene would do or međUnwanted filler scenes should be avoided..which gladly our nk doesn't show much compared to several other showsđNk has being always known for its uniqueness in the handling of its tracks..i would like that to kept intact in the episodesđAnd yea the storyline should be good..as audience we should able to connect with the story..the good part of nk is..almost every consecutive track remains connected..dvm to rp to juhi to vidyut to mishti...With such a talented cast and a good storyline and very potential and interesting track ahead of us i hope cvs are able to explore it to the bestđ
I personally thought that the jail scene is better than a courtroom drama because that has been exploited time and again in different shows. So, this jail thing is kind of refreshing and I am ready to overlook the whole whether Avni has been sentenced or has been just put there.Originally posted by: Shaiksafia
Much needed post I guess to know what everyone are expecting out of this track.
Honestly I wasn't very happy with watching avni in jail I expected they will start the leap only when Avni is out on bail or something where the trial for the case is still on and Neil not able to find any evidence surprisingly I have kinda accepted the jail track and feeling quite connected to Avni and her emotional trauma and my heart goes out for avni to the point of making me cry at time thanks to aditi For her brilliant performance đ
Let come to the issues I have
I want to connect to both AvNeil not just avni or not just Neil separately but sadly it's not happening.
Neela the character I love and adore the most is shown disconnected from avnis emotions
Most of all Neil's backstory which I am sure is common point
The reason to send her to jail I understand but not keeping proper check on avni's activities I don't get it, why are they not aware of her becoming this another version of ananya
The story is move forward but I find the pace is slow I feel like skipping many scenes.
I don't the see fire in Neil to free his wife
Khannas are missing in action
When avni was hurt I didn't see that protective husband there was lack of emotions
I understand he cannot meet avni he could have gone to jail check on with Monica for hurting his wife.
Missing AvNeil in same frame đ
I do understand where you are coming from. so, I take it that keeping low expectations is not a good thing? ( and that echoes my thoights too.) But the basic problem with the Netflix series or even the web series we watch is that they are finite. Set number if episodes and pre- made story line. And the episodes are weekly or biweekly . That gives it an ample opportunity to make every plot relevant . Somehow , in India the whole concept of a weekly show hasn't worked on tv. It's not that it hasn't been tried, but more often than not it has failed miserably .Majoly because tv is a "trp aunty" oriented space and Internet a youth oriented . But yet again, these people have massive budget, best of the writers and best of the star casts as (compared to web series ) at their disposal . so definitely our expectations being low isn't justified, right??Originally posted by: neeraja91
But the bigger picture is that we need better content on TV. I don't think lack of logic or suspension of reality is the only way to create an engaging drama. We connect with characters more than the story right now. But it'd be awesome if the story were just as rivetting. Like we on this forum are lay people and we can point out so many bloopers, loose ends, plot holes in our tv shows...do we do the same when we watch a Netflix show or even an Indian web series. NO. Why can't TV create such content? The excuse that the audience won't watch it is not true. People who work on these shows should care more about the quality of the show they put out, not only about their livelihood...they are in a creative field afterall. Don't they wan t to look back and be proud of their show NK has a wonderful cast...they are capable of much better. After the chuhi track the show reached such a low that now anything in comparison feels awesome. It's like once you reach rock bottom only way you can go is up! The current track has so much potential. I hope they don't squander it away.
