Neil stood up "Sir, we cant help who we love"

Neil sighed, massaging his temple "Why cant I just be put on another case"
Roy shook his head "The job or her"

Neil stopped "How did you get that recording of us confessing our love and those pictures"

Roy slid the letter over

And thinking about it, im a loyal citizen and want the best for the people.
Meaning, his relation with Avni goes against the values your staff believe in.

Neil skimmed the letter, each sentence he went through until he stopped.
Using each starting letter of the sentence he frowned.

"You f**king idiot Roy, its a threat and im not there " slamming his hand down he ran out of the office.


Neil finally arrived at the house, sirens surrounded him as the house blew up
He prayed Neela and Avni werent at home

Any ideas what will happen next or anything you want to happen next?

Vivaan is smart and Roy is an idiot, incase you dont remembr Roy is Neil's boss who gave him the job in the first chapter

Neil ran into the house, as he looked for the two women
Covering his mouth he coughed loudly, he saw the murky shadow of someone facing him

"Khanna"
"Avni" Neil sighed in relief, jumping over the log he grabbed her
"I didnt know you were a fire fighter in your spare time"

Neil smirked, he was sure he couldnt live a life without Avni's remarks
"Where's Neela"

Coughing she grasped his arm as the smoke blackened their skin
"She went out"
Neil nodded

"Avni I need you to jump over the"
Avni had already jumped, Neil shook his head as he went to jump, the stairs fell through separating the couple

"Avni, go"
"Im not leaving you Neil I can fix this"

He shouted loudly as his leg got trapped
Avni climbed through the hole, trying to lift the bannister she wiped the sweat off her head

Avni panicked as Neil passed out
Pushing the bannister she finally got it off as she tried to wake Neil up

The fire continued to spread , Avni grabbed him, pulling him across the floor she screamed as his leg nearly got stuck again

Finally dragging him far enough out of the house she dropped to her knees
The paramedics took Neil in the ambulance as Roy rested his hand on her shoulder

"Hi Avni, im Roy, I think we need a chat, I will take you to the hospital"
Avni agreed as she watched her house burn in the flames


"So, you and Neil huh" asked Roy as he started the car
Avni nodded "Youre his boss right"

"Yes and I gave him an ultimatum today, you or the job"
Avni gulped

"And what did he say"
Roy shrugged "He didnt have the time to pick"

Avni nodded as she drummed her fingers on her leg
"Youve got to understand Avni I just want the best bodyguard to protect the jewel , not somebody who doesnt respect his role"

"Neil does respect his role, hes done nothing wrong and has saved my life multiple times, I dont want him to lose his job"
Roy patted her leg

"Then I trust youll ensure he makes the right decision"
Avni nodded

She was willing to sacrifice anything to make him happy.
"Maybe you should hand over the jewel to me, for safekeeping, since thats causing the issues "

Avni furrowed her brows, what was with this guy, well if Neil trusted him then she should to.

"Ill consider it, right now my priority is Neils health, thanks for the lift"
Pushing the car door open she ran into the hospital without looking back
