More than the track, the characters character change in the track is what bothering most of the people. Had Neil be all smart ,sharp and practical like he was in other tracks, then fandom would have accepted the track even with Juhi in it.

Honestly when have any male leads in any show ever been through redemption track for their actions?They can do all the wrong things, hurt people around them but CVs always show the other characters accommodating and forgiving towards the ML. In the beginning Neil was different, he knew when he was wrong and didn't hesitate to apologize even to Avni for searching her locket scene.

But the Neil we have today doesn't believe he has upset anyone with his actions plus CVs doesn't give a damn to show a second worth of reaction from his family towards this kid stuff. I still remember the Khanna's reaction when they saw Ali and Avni on their living room couch...how disgustingly was Avni treated by Shweta! She got accused of carrying Ali's child even. And now their dear Tillu has gone and done the same thing but for them it's no problem because he is a guy after all 🥱

This proves that even in reel life the double standards of people and society still exists atleast in reel life they can give us a lead character who is without blot in characterisation but no neither the society nor the people mentality can never be changed

Writing changed in the sense, Neil was detached when he talked of mishti in mumbai. But only after arriving in Goa that he started his bachi jhaap. Also there is a stark difference in his body language then and now.

I don't know. Maybe they had something else in mind when they shot those previous scenes and made changes for the goa track. Coz we know how well zain emotes. If he can show his concern now than why was he wooden then?! Change in writing is the only reason I can come up with.
Many a times the same writer can also write inconsistently. I have seen this with previous shows. But it happened slowly there. Nk writers achieved this feat in 3 days.
