Juhi is clearly lying which is proved by scene where she is crying. The way I look at it she wants him to help him search for the child. And her subconscious is holding on to last straws of relationship with Neil otherwise won't feel guilty and ask forgiveness from Avni.

Neil also is not a father who will calmly stand by with no place in child's life and allow Juhi to walk away when Juhi says I will walk away with child.

He probably told Avni that to see if she will still be with him.

That is what I can interpret. Hope cvs prove us right.

Reason is that why would juhi tell him a lie that she has a child with him unless they have had a intimate relationship in the past which she knew they both remember and acknowledge, because she's not that dumb to lie to a guy who she has never slept with that she has a child with him? And if neil has ever had any such relationship with juhi, on what grounds would he think she is lying if he thinks it's not possible?

I also agree with @dsupriya that if that child really is neil and knowing his child in such grave danger, he would have reacted similarly to when he found out juhi was alive and knowing what danger she is in. His reaction to knowing about the child and who the child is with is nothing like what a father's reaction would be upon knowing such a thing. He doesn't seem terrified, grieving and full of guilt the way he was for juhi. His expressions are too dull and played down for such a situation, so this child is for sure not neil's.

A part of me feels that the flashback neil had today during avni's confession of the muted convo between him and juhi was just a fabrication of neil's own mind to trick viewers. I believe that juhi must have said something different in the muted convo to him, because then juhi was shown begging neil and with complete sincerity she seemed to say that she has told him the complete truth and for him to please help her. I think she must have told him the truth, but neil's flashback of the convo today was just made up to trick viewers. I'm hoping that at least we get an OLV to clear whether the child is his or not by the end of this week, as I have had enough of this already.

As for testing Avni, was this the only way to test her... especially when the girl is proposing him?

On a side note, why do the girls in Neil's life end up proposing him and not the other way round... first Juhi and now Avni. 😆

Really hope it happens. He is just testing her whether he will stay with her after knowing he has a child with his ex. We never got to hear what he said before hugging her. So I wish it's what you said happens. It's so unlikely o him to conceal the fact from her unless he strongly believes it to be his child.
