Juhi tells Neil that it is their child for two reasons, one she is uncomfortable revealing about her rape, second Neil will easily agree to help her in finding the child if he thinks the child is his.

Neil knows that Juhi is lying because he never had any such type of physical relationship with her that will result in Juhi getting pregnant.He was leaving for doing MBA for two years and hence it does not make sense that he can have such type relationship with a girl knowing very well what the outcome may be.

But he does not want to embarrass her by exposing her lie.So he will first find her child and then confront her. He says to Avni that the child belongs to her in order to test that whether Avni is ready to accept him even if he has this kind of history.

Tomorrow may be before making her wear the ring he will tell Avni the truth.

This theory is my last hope that will not ruin AvNeil for me

Really hope it happens. He is just testing her whether he will stay with her after knowing he has a child with his ex. We never got to hear what he said before hugging her. So I wish it's what you said happens. It's so unlikely o him to conceal the fact from her unless he strongly believes it to be his child.

I hope that your theory is right. But please, Neil had better ways to test his wife than this ridiculous fact/lie that he is sprouting.

It is very clear it is not Neil's child. There was no shock no fear no devastation that his child is in dangerous hands. Neil being Neil will be all of it. He sounded worried or rather hurt that Juhi would lie to him on such big thing. He so calmly promised her he will find the child. He did not say our child.

Juhi is clearly lying which is proved by scene where she is crying. The way I look at it she wants him to help him search for the child. And her subconscious is holding on to last straws of relationship with Neil otherwise won't feel guilty and ask forgiveness from Avni.

Neil also is not a father who will calmly stand by with no place in child's life and allow Juhi to walk away when Juhi says I will walk away with child.

He probably told Avni that to see if she will still be with him.

That is what I can interpret. Hope cvs prove us right.
