I think Zain and Sayantani have a pretty good rapport off screen as well, which is clearly translated to their easy chemistry on screen. The same applies for Shruti. You can see it in the earlier Tillu and Mummy scenes as well. I once saw an off screen segment with Zain and Shruti and it was even more LOL than anything they do on screen. Zain was pulling Shruti's leg saying he is only 2 years "older" than her,(Coz sometimes the women who play a guy's Mom is actually younger than him!😆). Good thing this show is not like that! She was like "No I am only 3-4 years younger than him!". Then Shruti was praising Zain and he was smiling and nodding his head and she turned to him and said:

"Mere liye bhi bolna..." and then he started saying "What can I say about her? You know back in the 1940's when she first joined the industry... etc" it was SO funny.

Zain appears to have a good equation with all the co actors, regardless of age. I like that about him. Someone posted on Twitter how he and his previous co-star liked some video their other co actor has recently performed in, and I saw some photos of the three of them with some guy. Anyways, it seems he is friends with those two as well. So clearly a guy who gets on with the Unit. That is reflected even in his chemistry with the actors playing Prakash, Bebe, DD etc.

I loved the selection of scenes! You can actually see a stark difference in the way Neil used to look at Avni in the past and the way he looks at her now. Kudos to Zain for being able to nail that subtle change.

"But the AvNeil romance is too yum! It always was. But now it almost feels voyeuristic to watch them. Like we are imposing on their privacy. I have seen many TV couples. But this couple is one where I actually feel it's too real. So real that you feel like you should look away! I don't know how to explain it. I am sure you guys know what I mean! "

^ Word Mandy, word. As I was watching this VM, this comment of yours struck my mind. I was wondering about the same. Why is it that their scenes of late have been so real that it makes you blush and want to look away (but of course you won't, who can possibly miss out on our babies' romance)? I think it has to do with the way these two have been acting, especially in the post-Ali/Avni fiasco, Zain in particular. Aditi still has to maintain that confused look given Avni's confused state of mind, but we could see a glimpse of Avni's romantic side in that Iktara sequence (0:49 to 0:53 in the VM). But Zain, oh my lord. I have NO idea how he is doing what is he doing but Neil is making me swoon. Neil/Zain has gone from ogling Avni/Aditi like a passionate lover to looking at her with so much love and reverence.

Compare the look at 0:24 (police station) to the one at 0:26 (condo scene). You can already see the difference in the way Neil looks at Avni.

It is that switch that is making us fall deeply madly in love with Neil. He isn't giving us the "bedroom eyes"-look, which most MLs tend to use in their romantic scenes. Instead, there is this innocence and deep love in his eyes for Avni. It must be extremely hard to understand and express that, but this makes me appreciate Zain the actor more. He has understood the nuances of his character so well.

Not taking anything away from our girl though. Aditi has been just as wonderful in her portrayal as Avni. The clueless wife, who does not seem to understand her husband's advances. I cannot wait for Aditi to turn on her romantic side once Avni realises that she is in loveee.

Mandy (By the way MrDarcyfan 's name is Mandy, so we need to figure a way to call you with your names yet without creating confusion, what would you want us to call you), I loved their scenes as well and the expressions Zain gave and the bond and complicity they share, but I had 31 GIFs,!!! and I was too tired😆 I focused mainly on AvNeil, my priority 😉 But yes I love Neela and Prakash too. Prakash should be more proactive, Neela is AvNeil's first shipper and she is quite wise, oh DD too, I love him, he is the one who behaves like their real brother! Ali also though he went astray for a while.

Yes we might have an intense I love you, though I want it to be in a unique style, Neil's style! Something like Gazebo confrontation but with Neil's touch!

I agree. That Prakash-Neil scene looked even more endearing because of Ssanjay ji and Zain's off-screen rapport. I have seen segments where they were chilling and laughing together, which explains why that little moment between Neil and Prakash looked so real and adorable,

In fact, I do think Aditi and Zain get along pretty well too, despite what people might have to say about their off-screen relationship. 😆 I don't think it is possible to have that sort of an onscreen chemistry without a good off-screen bonding. You can tell when an actor has to fake it. In fact, if anything, the current track would not have been half as aww-worthy if these two didn't share that off-screen camaraderie. A part of me feels like they intentionally try to underplay their friendship, to stop the rumour mills from running. 😆 But I do think they share an interesting relationship. I don't see how we could have sensed that change in Neil if Zain and Aditi did not have that sort of an understanding between them. I cannot wait to see how this further develops as Avni realises her love for Neil. Exciting times ahead fam! We'd better strap up and be prepared for the ride these two would be taking us on!

Zain shares good rapport with everyone, he is an easy going guy, he said in an interview that his mom is very positive, and I guess he got that from her, he said he doesn't get involved in negative things even when on the sets. He said we have to have that positive aura around us, that makes him happy and makes his mom happy also. This aura of positivity is something his mom used to maintain in their home and that's what he maintains in his daily routine. The other offscreen segment with Shruti I watched it and I also watched his offscreen segments with the actors playing Bebe, Prakash ...

I even watched some of his own segments "a day out with Zain Imam", he seems cool, easy going and very adorable, he would make you laugh at his antics! cute!

I agree there is something extra in the way he behaves with her and looks at her post his near death experience, maybe he felt life is short, and he wants to cherish every moment of it with her, also the feeling that his love is reciprocated, he knows she saved him and she herself confessed how much she was scared of losing him, so that also counts!

He doesn't want to lose his time anymore, and his heart is flooding with love and he wants to shower it on her!

Beautiful VM. Yes there is a change in Neil's expressions since his accident. His love is more visible and he is not trying to deny it anymore. He even admitted it to Neela that he was totally obvious. What more could he mean? He was holding back until the Honeymoon. After that night in the Gazebo, we can see he gave himself to the relationship a lot more. That is why her refusal to come home with him after she left the house hurt him even more. Because he had thought that they were more committed now. Enough to not give up on the relationship at every little hurdle. His line "Rishtey itene asani se tore jatai hai?". "Please muje ruko Avni...kaho ke tum mere saath ana chahate ho!" ALL that was indicating to us his level of investment in the relationship at that point.

Then the bomb blast (by which time they were well on the way to patching up). But when he woke up he knew he was there mostly due to her, if not totally due to her and her commitment to saving him. It's not a small thing. Now he wants to hear in "so many words" what she feels about him. He wants her to say "I love you Neil, and I want to stay in this relationship for you!". More than ever before, I think he's desperate to hear the words. Mostly because he wants to take their relationship to the next level now, and in his mind, THIS is the one thing that needs to be said between them before that can happen. Well he needs to have what they both know verbalized. He loves her. But he wont say it, until she says it. Avni doesn't even know he loves her or that she loves him! She's just hopeless!😉

I remember at the start when he used to stare at her sometimes. Especially the Mehendi day, his partiality was very clear. He was very obvious almost from the start. I think a lot of people guessed his feelings even before he did. Hence Prakash telling Bebe when he questioned Shweta and Prakash on AvNeil's marriage about it happening without their consent. "Lekin Neil Ananya se pyaar karta hai! Karata hai...muje pata hai!" I think Prakash was almost sure of it even then. He knows his son. But Shweta was willfully blind despite knowing her son. She refused to see how her son was falling more and more for this girl she didn't like. Even before their marriage. I think all the Mehta's knew that Neil had a "thing" for Ananya. I don't think they were very sure about how she felt! LOL

The Rabba Ve between AvNeil at least from Neil's side was clear from the "Near Miss" at the bank. When he was arrested by her presence even without seeing her face. How he stopped and stared almost as if "felt" something in her presence which alerted him. As if it was telling him she was someone significant. Someone special. The Rabba Ve fan was on too! LOL. I always call that wind blowing and that stop and stare moment as a Rabba Ve moment, coz from the moment I heard that tune and now even after years, it has become synonymous with romance for me. Nothing can beat it. In fact they even used it in the opening of the Jungle promo of AvNeil.

VM Makers can someone make a VM of AvNeil on Rabba Ve. (The original tune) and not Kyon Dard Hai Itana. I like that original tune more. Even though the 2nd version was as good, and even the one's they are using now. But nothing like that opening "Haye Haye" to set the tone!

Avni's situation now be like

"Jail jaane se Darr nahin lagta par hubby ki guttergiri se Darr lagta hai"

And Neil be like

"Joh Biwi se kare pyaar woh kaise kare use giraftaar"

I have seen the AvNeil scenes at least 5 times too and want to watch yet again. Despite having a very busy weekend I still cant stop myself from trying to find time to watch these scenes again. They are so amazing.

Neil is just too much right now. I love his secret smirks and then putting on a face in front of Avni as if he is really serious about the arresting stuff. It's LOL.

Yeah Avni is thinking, which option is better? Jail or Neil's zulm sehena? Neil's like "how can I let this opportunity go?" He was loving the fact that Avni agreed to do "whatever you say!". He was like "That's what I wanted to hear from you!".

That coming close to her and tucking imaginary hair behind her ear while saying "Soch lo...ek baar tum ne haan kardi, toh tum peeche nahi hat sakti!" Too much!

Next time when Neil plans something romantic with wifey he should switch off his phone and confiscate wifey's phone😛

Additionally he can also hang a do not disturb board outside the apartment😈

He needs to get rid of external distractions to fuel the internal attractions😉

@Naj and @Mandy: I concur with you ladies. The near-death experience probably did trigger some strong emotions in Neil, which makes absolute sense. He values his life more, and he will be forever grateful to Avni for giving him another chance at living (both by saving him and by coming into his life/becoming the love of his life) so he would do anything to express what he feels.

@Mandy: Really interesting interpretation with respect to Prakash knowing that Neil was in love even before he knew it. I feel like Prakash knew that no matter how mad Neil was at the time of AvNeil's marriage, he is the sort of guy who will hold up his end of the commitment. To me, it felt like Papa ji knew that Neil would honour his relationship/marriage with Avni and in doing so, would also develop feelings for her. He knows his son pretty darn well.

In other news, I just saw this. Not too sure if we are to trust this. I do not mind the idea of having to see Neil hang out with Juhi. It makes absolute sense for him to want to know what happened to the girl who until recently meant the world to him. That said, I do not want to see Neil being torn between Avni and Juhi. Both ladies hold special places in his heart and if we have understood Neil well, that should be reflected in his actions. Yes, he would probably question Juhi's importance in his life, not because she is no longer important but because he would not know where she stands now, given Avni has his heart, soul and everything. I also do not mind the idea of Avni trying to figure out what Neil is feeling by asking him straight up about Juhi. If anyone has to tell her about Juhi, it has to be him. Hopefully, the green-eyed monster would be awoken as Neil talks about Juhi. 😛
