@Naj:
Yes, Neil was always seductively intimidating with Avni. I don't think he has behaved like that with anyone else before. At least not with a practical stranger which is what Avni was. But for some reason, he couldn't seem to help himself and he was always up in her personal space. Neil was never like that with Rhea, with whom he got engaged. But there was always a distance, a certain reserve between them. Yes he was always nice to her and friendly and stood up for her. He took his commitment seriously. But beyond that we never felt any connection, any Tashan-Bazi or anything for that matter. He was mostly just indulgent towards her. He accepted that they were getting married and behaved accordingly. But with Avni / Ananya he was always in her way and he couldn't stay away from her even when he wanted to.

Now Neil very much wants to be with her, and he is crazy about her. That has been very well established. It has become obvious to him and to the whole world as per him. But not to his sweet bride, or more like wife of of 3 months! Beyond a bride now I guess. I can't wait to see what happens when Neil realises that Avni thinks he still has feelings for Juhi and she is trying to help him by removing herself from his life. I want a "I love you Dammit" type of confession. If these scenes leading up to a confession are this intense and hot, imagine what the actual confession will be like? In sheer frustration I want Neil to tell her that it's HER he loves. He is hers! Only her's! Remember the intensity of the Gazebo scene? Shweta will try to poison her mind, but when Avni hears from Neil that she's the only one he wants, then we are in business.

I feel the Raghu Pandit, Jagoora stuff is all connected to Juhi as well, and she may be a part of the racket. She was probably abducted as well. Who knows how she landed with those people? I hope that through this whole sequence DVM and Amol's involvement with Pandit and Jagoora come out. I know the CV's will balance the episodes out, like they always do. Wonder what will happen to that fool Rhea? But Shweta's expression will be worth seeing when she realises she is conspiring with the same Sapola's who tried to KILL her Tillu? What a stupid woman Shweta is! I can't wait for her to be busted!

@Mandy

Yes Shweta is 🤬
I mean doesn't she know that Dayavanti already coaxed Amol into killing Neil once when Dayavanti was about to get arrested!!! The mere fact actually of teaming up with a murdress like Dayavanti proves that this woman has no brains and when she discovers that her silly lilly also was part of the plan of killing her son, her face will be worth watching!! Stupid woman!. On a funny note, did she bring a tiffin to Rhea😆, I mean I saw that when Rhea finished eating she put the box which had what seemed like home made food in a paper bag 😆

Rhea should have been Shweta's daughter!! 😆they deserve each other!

I don't know if Shweta is aware of the fact Dayawanti has tried to kill Neil but she knows this woman tried to deceive her family, she is well aware of what this woman did to Avni and her parents but she does not care. Shweta is so blinded by her hatred for Avni that she will stoop to any means to get what she wants even if that means opening up old wounds of her son's deceased ex.

I agree about how Neil is with Avni when compared to how he was with Rhea. I mean he was respectful towards Rhea but you could never feel a connection between them. I am hoping CVs do something similar if they intend to show any flashbacks of Neil and Juhi. The side of Neil we have seen with Avni should be with only her.

Everyone's speculations about how the tracks with Gura Maa and Amol will conclude are exciting, there is so much potential lets see how CVs handle things. I have faith they won't disappoint

In regards to Rhea I hope she is written out once everything is revealed about what Shweta and Dayawanti. I really see no use for her character after that, how long can she be a puppet when Neil is already aware of her reality? Neil has already warned her to stay away from Avni so what much can she do without facing his wrath?

ETA: Yes it looked like Shweta brought food for Rhea, I noticed that part too where she puts the tiffin in a bag.

Loving the discussions and the GIFs! ❤️
@Naj & @Mandy: I feel like quoting all of your discussions but I will try to restrain myself. Some of my fave bits -

"I think Neil was turned on by the fact that Avni WAS Case 123. He was right all along and he knows his instincts were always leading him in the right direction. So he is doubly vindicated."

"We are lucky to have such an intelligent hero, who is noble, good at heart yes but not the boring type, he has his style and his unique way of romancing and getting things done his way!!! He was always intimidating in a seductive way even during the days he was playing chor police with her before marriage! She was his most important case and guess what she turned out to be the most important person in his life."

"The ONLY reason she would fight for Neil and fight to keep him is if he tells her that YES he is HERS! She needs to hear those words for her to have the confidence to "Impose" herself on his life. Yes, she loves him, even if she doesn't really know it. But none of that would be enough for her to hold on to Neil unless she knows SHE is irrevocably the person he wants."

"Neil was always seductively intimidating with Avni. . I want a "I love you Dammit" type of confession. If these scenes leading up to a confession are this intense and hot, imagine what the actual confession will be like? In sheer frustration I want Neil to tell her that it's HER he loves. He is hers! Only her's."

My thoughts were perfectly encapsulated by these few lines in particular. Both Avni and Neil's characters have been so beautifully written. They aren't like the mainstream characters, but they have the spark and charm that makes them very interesting. Usually, the female leads are the "righteous", "can never be or do wrong" sort of characters but our girl isn't like them. She is far from perfect but she has a heart of gold.

"Neil, I'm sorry. Maine chori ki thi, woh acche ke liye karti thi. Kabhi apne liye nahin ki. Humesha doosron ke help ke liye ki."

Her earnest apology broke my heart, especially the way she said that she never did it for herself. That is quintessentially Avni, one who never thinks about herself. Yes, it might come across as a holier-than-thou characterisation, but it is not. She just has never had the time to think about herself. Even when she was a thief, her urge to help and take law into her own hands stemmed from her dissatisfaction towards the legal system. It's not like she wanted to be the ultimate do-gooder or anything.

As for our hero, he is neither perfect nor completely flawed. He is the sort of man girls like me (and anyone else for that matter) would consider being an ideal man/partner. At the same time, he does not come across as a perfect human being who can only exist in books or movies. He is a man of principles, and we have such people in real life too. But he doesn't take his principles to an extreme. At the end of the day, he is an intelligent man with principles. Has he never done any wrong? No. He has. His obsession for Avni was technically wrong. Him manipulating his mother was also wrong. But that is who Neil is. He is a good man, who would not mind bending his own rules when it's needed. But does that make him manipulative or evil? No. It just makes him human. Do we not do the same thing in real life? Have a moral compass but also know when to tweak it slightly to accommodate us. 😆

I think it's the element of relatability that makes AvNeil stand out. We don't just appreciate them and be like #goals. We try to emulate their positive traits as well. I am probably not the right person to say this (single pringle me) but Avni and Neil reinforced my belief in relationships because I finally see a couple who talks out their issues. They have their fights and down moments, but their love for each other is never diminished. They do not have misunderstandings, but they have disagreements and isn't that what relationships are like? You fight with your partner, you don't agree with everything they do but you compromise. You talk it through and ensure that both of you are on the same page. AvNeil doing just that makes me so hopeful about relationships in general and I couldn't be more thankful to our writers for that. They have understood the fact that misunderstandings only weaken the "love" they show between a couple. No matter how hot or passionate the reconciliation may be, it would just never be the same. Sadly, not many shows realise that. They tend to focus on the hot post-misunderstanding make-up session instead.

That said, our two adorable munchkins have a unique set of problems of their own too. 😆 I agree with you Mandy. I get a feeling we would get a passionate, in the spur of the moment sort of confession from Neil, purely because the guy is at his wits end with his cute tube light wifey. I really wish Avni would be the one to confess first though, because imagine just how shocked Neil would be. It will be a batti-gul type moment for him. It might happen though, since Avni is obviously starting to understand what is going on in Neil's mind.

"Usne mujhe aise pakda huya tha ki main toh..." - Chalo, at least Ms Tubeliight realised that he was not simply interrogating her but was trying to get close. 😛 Baby steps, our girl will realise/figure it out, soon enough. 😆

@Mandy: I do not think Shweta has the slightest clue that not only DVM, but her co-conspirator Rhea too wanted Neil dead. To be honest, I might not have liked Rhea but I had never imagined her to be capable of murder. Then again, one's upbringing has an important role to play in the development of one's personality.
I think that is another thing the CVs might play out - the fact that not only will Shweta fail and lose Neil, but she would also start hating herself. I don't think it is possible for her to hate Avni any more than she already does and when she realises that despite everything she has tried, Neil is still Avni's, she would understand that it is not Avni who is trying to hold on to him. Neil himself does not want to let go.

On the other hand, when she realises that she has been plotting with the very people who wanted to kill her son, I get a feeling she might end up doing something drastic - but not out of spite, but out of self-loathing. It could be a Bebe-moment part two, where Shweta begs for forgiveness from Avni (and Neil) and realises that Avni has always protected Neil and wanted the best for him. That is the only possible redemption I can see, whereby Shweta realises and accepts that she has failed as a mother and that the only way she could even remotely make-up for that would be to accept Avni, because she wants to see Neil happy.

Amazing discussion you guys! I couldnt have said anything better!😊
I agree with everything you guys said.

I think with Avni, she loves him very very deeply. And even if she realizes it, until and unless Neil doesnt confront and tell her how much he LOVES her, she will walk away. Because LOVE is about seeing your loved one happy. And if you think your love is happy with someone else, you take a step back. SHE LOVES HIM ENOUGH TO WALK AWAY FOR HIS HAPPINESS.

But the moment Neil will confront her, tell her how much he LOVES her and how much he wants to spend the rest of his life with HER, she will again step in and FIGHT with him. She might go on a sacrificial route and it will only be because of her insecurity and also what Shweta will tell her. Again, with Neil clearing all her doubts, she will be walking with him every step of the way. And of course, Neela will play a huge role in making sure that they get their doubts cleared😃

And also with Shweta, I agree with you guys! I think the only eye opener for Shweta would be Avni actually risking her life while saving Neil and then her learning how DVM, Amol and Rhea has been behind Neil's life. This will definitely make her realize. But one the side, I am also worried that she might YET AGAIN blame Avni for whatever those three are doing. Lets see! I am not very hopeful with Shweta's character. I hope I am proven wrong

I was shocked when I saw Rhea knew about what Amol and Dayawanti had done to Neil and plotted to have Avni fail in her efforts to save him. It did not stop there she tried to instigate Avni into believing Ali was behind the blast, thankfully Avni knew better. I look forward to the day the truth comes out about that, both characters are beyond redemption and should be written out once that track concludes.

Shweta is definitely going to regret and whatever Prakash said about how her ego will break and she will have to apologize to Avni is going to become a reality. This is another thing I am looking forward to, the way I see it Shweta will get Avni's forgiveness before she ever gets Neil's. I want it to be a long hard road for her to earn back her son's trust and love, whatever she is doing now is just so cruel.

Few more adorable moments of our supercop with Neela ma, I didn't make GIFs of them when I made my post in page 26, but I talked about two of them and one I haven't mentioned it

1- I liked his expressions and body language when he said : "Neela ma, jab tak wo kuch kahegi nahi, main sunonga kaise?!"

2- This moment I didn't mention before, or rather his reaction when she told him that he should have a discussion with Avni before it's too late. When Neela said "Kahi aisa naho Neil ki bohot der hojaye" , he was shocked and turned his face in a jerk towards her, the idea terrified him, the idea of losing his love, it clearly shows how much he loves Avni!

3- The third moment is the adorable Hi5 between Neela and Neil, his casual expression, he treats her like a friend of his age! but you can still see that he was thinking, the way he put a finger on his lips and was still lost in what she told him! He must be thinking that he should talk to Avni and discuss things with her, as in no case he would allow it to be late. One thing I'm sure of he will never let her go.

@arshisfan, I was hoping you would GIF Neela and Neil's scenes they are so cute. You noticed that part too when Neela talked about what if it is too late? Neil is not going to risk losing Avni he loves her too much to let her go. I am sure Avni will be the sacrificial one and an intense confrontation will ensue, Neil will have the ASR moment we all hope for where he spells it out to Avni that he loves her. I look forward to the day Avni is able to break down all those walls around her and accept Neil wholeheartedly, she won't have to fear he will be another Ashish or that she will face the same heartbreak her mothers did.
