This is just an appreciation post for the character sketch of "Niel.

I never watched Naamkarann Prior to the Leap.
But the recent promo caught my attention that had the Male lead telling the Saas Clan that his wife wont give any justification about the alleged Infidelity Pics.
I was like wow👏 what a lovely thing to watch a husband standing up for his wife ... Thus i thgt let me catch up on the Post leap episodes ... A marathon of watching the back to back episodes on Hotstar for 3 days completely blew my mind wrt the character called Niel ... It very rarely happens in Indian soaps that the Male lead is given such a strong Character sketch...
We usually are served the similar soap dishes where the super bahu saves the day for every one and of course the damsel in distress is usually the male lead... But naamkarann is one serial where the plot never losses the grip of the characters esp special mention to Niel... Even the falling in love of the leads is so subtle and simple that it pulls ur Heart strings ... Simply Put i just Love "Niel" and Mr.Imam is doing a fabulous job of playing the role of Niel.
Bang on Post yaar every guy should be like this I am not saying go against ur parents but at least use ur brain

What a nice post . Neil surely is a strong charecter . He is just perfect for everything his prospective for everything is so different from other male charecter of any serial . He stands for what he feels is right . He doesnt care if it his mother or grand mother if they are wrong he will stand against him . All the male population should consider him as a role model

Yes Neil is an amazing character coz he's so real. He has so many sides to him, and he does them all so well. Now this jealousy is also proving he's a normal guy who is capable of being insecure just like the next guy. He's not an unreasonable guy, but push him and he wont like it, and nor will he take it laying down.

I am quite simply in love with Neil, and at least 50% of the credit (Giving the writers and director half the credit) goes to Zain. He is exceptional as Neil. I knew a few people on Twitter who watched TEI and they loved him. I never watched that show or KYY which I heard was his debut. He is truly the right guy for this role, they got the casting as right as Gul Khan gets it!
