Avni was confused with Neil's behavior. He had started behaving like typical husband. He forcefully made her do all marriage after rituals.
Is he talking revenge? For spoiling his marriage with Riya?. Maybe he was doing that. Avni tried to escape from Neil but he had blackmailed her that he will arrest her and her mother and reveal her truth of being avni to everyone. So she could not do anything. Neil is not letting her met Ali also for his own reasons whenever he sees her going to met her friend. He just comes and holds her hand and takes her off. He had warned her to not reveal that he knows her as avni to anyone. To add her tension she understood nanno and neela maa have a cold war regarding her marriage. Nanno thinks neela maa had made her scapegoat for her revenge. She tried to make nanno understand it is her revenge also and neela maa did not do anything. But nanno did not listen and started to accuse neela maa of all other things. Avni had enough she will not let anyone accuse her mother like that.
Avni screamed at nanno.
Avni : enough nanno. Not a word against my mother. I will forget u are my grandma. OK.
Nanno was shocked to see her grand daughter screaming at her like this.
Nanno : avni you are not understanding beta . This lady has made you burn you in her revenge.
Avni : she is my mom nanno. The one who took care of me. She never made me feel I did not have a mother in life. When I needed someone to support in my life she was here. U were not there. She took care of me like her daughter. I'm not telling that she took ayesha maa position in my heart but what position she has in my heart even ayesha maa can't take it. I will not hear word against her.
Nanno : OK avni I agree that she has done this much for you but beta she made you marry Neil forcefully.
Avni : she had done what mother should have done. She did not want her daughter to end up in jail by shooting dayavanti mehta. So she took that decision. She is my mother she has every right to take a decision for me. She knows what is good for me. She has more right on me than anyone. She has given me my birth again. She had supported me.
Avni went near neela and stood. Avni was leaving the house with neela when she found Ali standing on the door. She wanted to speak and explain Ali but for time being she felt better to leave the house.
Neela and avni were walking on the road when Neil came in front of them.
Avni was confused to see neil here.
Neil : u know bebe had took the whole house by storm while she did not find you in home. She is scolding mom for being irresponsible.
Avni : I'm sorry. I should have informed someone.
Neil was surprised to see avni apologize. He had actually excepted a fight with her. Seeing neela aunty sad. He understood something is wrong with avni. He asked avni and neela aunty to sit in car .They agreed.
Neil dropped neela aunty to her house. Avni hugged her mother and assured her everything will be right.
Neil and avni was traveling to mehta mansion .
Neil : what happened? Why was neela aunty looking sad?. I never saw her so sad. Anything happened.
Avni did not respond to Neil.
Neil : you can tell me. See she is my mother in law. I really respect and care for her.
Avni did want to tell Neil her problems but in this few days they have come to be more than enemies and less than friends. Neil had helped her many times like pehli rasoi he had send food for her with DD. He thinks she does not understand but she understands. They have not become friends but they are more comfortable with each other.
Avni said about nanno and her problems regarding neela maa and how she defended neela maa.
Neil : whatever you did right only. Don't worry. I know ur Nanni is hurt for time being but she has to understand before it turns bitter. It's good you gave her a reality check.

Neil smiled and smile vanished remembering something. Avni noticed it.
Neil : so you and neela aunty were in Ali's house So you met Ali right.
Avni till does not understand what problem Neil has with Ali. As far she remembers Neil and Ali were good friends.
Avni : no actually he was not there at home and when I was leaving with maa I saw him but could not speak with him.

Avni and Neil went inside the house to see her mother in law standing with bebe .
Bebe and her mother in law started to ask her all kinds of questions. Avni thought were they worried? But as far as she knows her mother in law hates her. She will never understand this khanna family. Neil and prakash uncle with great difficulty convinced the two ladies . Shweta aunty and bebe went away. But before going shweta aunty gave her frown expression. Avni found it cute laughed away. Understanding her mother in law was difficult but she was not so bad but not so good also.
Avni and Neil was in her room when Neil informed her that he has work so he had to do night shift and went away.
Avni felt sad and started to remember her moments with Neil.
Her first meeting with him. Her hate moments .her holi moments. She hated men because of her father. But Neil was different he respected her, he stands against his mother for her. Not that he was not hard on her sometimes. He was hard on her when she had left him on the road and ran away with Ali on her pag phera but her bad luck he had found her and dragged her back to the house and pinned her to the wall and warned her to never repeat that again. They were almost going to kiss each other that moment. His closeness affects her like anything. Their first night she had mixed pills to make him loose his senses but he had made her drink that too. Their both had lost their senses and shared some close moments but the next day they acted as if they don't remember anything especially she. She did not want Neil to tease her. But when bebe mentioned about their first night. She blushed and she saw Neil doing that. So she understood Neil also remembers everything.
Avni slept thinking of Neil. Unaware of her feelings .

chapter 5
Neil returned home to see avni sleeping peacefully. He started at her face for sometime and went to change his clothes. He had gone to make a plan against dayavanti mehta if he had said avni about it she could have insisted to come with him. He did not want her to again come back to revenge mood. She had enough he wanted her to enjoy her days like normal girl, he wanted give her back her childhood and her innocence which was crushed thanks to her grandmother and father. Neil did not know what was going on his mind having avni with me gives me peace to him that was lost after juhi left . He did not want to share avni with anyone not even with Ali that's why he had asked her to maintain distance with him, she agreed sadly. He was guilty of separting her from her best friend but he did not want avni to develop any feelings for Ali more than friends, he was being selfish for unknown reason he wanted avni to share everything with him now. Neil slept beside avni after completing his works.
Avni woke up at morning to see Neil sleeping beside her. One month had passed they had agreed to share the bed together. She went to washroom and changed her dress. Neil woke up and found avni getting ready so early. She was trying to impress his mother and bebe very badly. Bebe was impressed with her but his mom was tough nut to crack but she had made place in his mom's heart unknown to his mom also. And his dad loves her like his daughter. He was somewhere happy that at least avni can have a normal family like this.
Avni came near Neil and shakes him to bring him out of the thoughts.
Avni : Neil did you find any other way to bring dayawanti mehta truth out.
Neil : I have but it's a surprise.
Avni : oh what is that surprise u will announce on TV this time you found real avni mehta no.
Neil : it was ur fault. You ditched me and went with Ali u were planning to leave India. U did not come back hearing the news also.
Avni : I knew the news was fake that was done to bring me back u knew my truth . So I did not come. What did you do?. You made the flight stop before flying by telling lie that a terrorist attack and you dragged me back home.
Neil pulled Avni in his lap .
Neil : how can I leave you to go wify. Whom I will fight with then.
Avni : Neil stop flirting and leave me.
Neil's closeness is something which makes avni nervous but this Neil will act like he was always made for romance and tries to come near her.
Bebe was passing by when she saw Neil and avni like that.
Bebe : Neil how many times to tell you to lock the door before romancing with ur wife. Anyone can come beta.

Breakfast was served. Avni was going to lift her right hand to eat the food but she could not someone was holding it. She saw it was Neil but he is acting nothing has happened. She tried free her hand but could not. Neil was smirking. Tried avni took spoon and started eating by her left hand shocking everyone.
Shweta's spoon fell down seeing avni eating from left hand when she bended to lift it she saw Neil holding avni's hand and how avni was struggling.
Shweta : Neil we know you will never leave ur wife hand but that does not mean u will demonstrate it by holding her hand and not letting eat properly. Leave her hand.
Neil left avni's hand. Avni started to eat properly. Everyone gave avneil a teasing stare in the dining table.
Neil finished his breakfast and was leaving home for work. He was stopped outside by avni.
Avni looked angry.
Avni : what was that Neil? .
Neil : what are you asking about?
Avni : the stunt you pull in front of bebe in room and dining room table. U will done all the work and go. I will get teased whole day telling my husband is so romantic etc.
Neil : do I not look romantic? U need more proof OK fine you know you look cute while angry. See bebe thinks ours is love marriage and I making look like that.
Avni : oh but you know whole day bebe teases me about it .
Neil : OK bye my unromantic wife. Neil hugged her and went not before smirking at her.
Avni was confused and looked back to see bebe, shweta aunty and prakash uncle standing here having smiling face.
Bebe : look prakash learn from ur son. He will leave srk far behind in romance.
Avni (in mind) : gone again full day teasing about my romantic husband. U will pay for it Neil.
