So now we got 100percent clarity that neil is not akash.
yesterday dd informed him about neela and today he heard ali calling ananya as avni.
But there is no reaction from him.
Thanks to all fake spoilers which gave false hopes.

Another thing was clear that neil jus wanted to go to Dayawanti s house to meet ananya Nd know her true intention.And he s nt interested in marrying Riya .he was just thinking as how to go to Mehta house .so when he got the correct timing he utilises it properly and gavea good excuse.also Is it important that Neil and Ananya should have any past connection.???why can't they use Neil as a complete stranger who when knows reality abt Ananya being avni can help her out

No! He had expressed some surprised emotions. CVs didn't focus on it. I think I will be hoping always of Neil being Akash until his past will not be disclosed completely!
