Isn't Hrithik a two-timer?

He might not love Tanvi, but he has made a commitment to her, in his full senses. No one forced or coerced him into agreeing for the alliance with Tanvi.

Therefore, what right does he have to go running after a woman who HE KNOWS he has feelings for?

Don't get me wrong, I like his character. But this two-timing of his isn't going down well with me.

well..he is not running behind shivanya. atleast not aftr tanvi made him promised. ritik dont know that he is falling in love with shivanya..he dont believ in love rt? he is protecting her as he promised.
marriage with tanvi is something he is doing for his family and tanvi know it. love is nt in anyones control. it just happns..sp he isnt two timed. the moment he realise that he fallen in love i guess ritik will stop wedding himself

actually it does look awkward and even if one does not like tanvi ,you do feel bad..imagine being committed and then days before wedding so strongly attracted to other that you just do not stop yourself..that does hurt...and they really need to phase out tanvi's character and get back to the naaghin game...we do not need this same old best friend vs lover saga again..every other soap has it ...i fail to understand this whole marriage drama in the 36 episode series...she could have avoided it ..

I sympathise with Tanvi, actually. Anybody would be annoyed out of their minds if their fiance was playing peek-a-boo with some other person just prior to the wedding.

true..her reactions are normal indeed...jealousy ,insecurity stems out of the fact that she knows he does not love her and is falling for shivanya...

honestly, i dont feel much bad to tanvi. because she is his childhood frnd, she know that he is not in love with her and he made it clear to her asking her again to rethink abt the relation. then how she can expecf ritik to fall in love with her only? she claims that she hav seen that love in ritik eyes for shivanya. she says she is in love with him for years and it doesnt matter evn if ritik isnt in love. so she knw how crazy love is..
dont u think tanvi need to rethink what she is doing.. atleast as his best frnd. im not asking tanvi to be a sacrifice queen.. but from my pov she is actually behaving childish.

I've been wondering this too. It's completely unfair to Tanvi for him to ogle and make heart-eyes at Shivanya. I'm glad that the parents are calling him out on his shit.

But at the same time, I feel like the CVs are trying to justify it by making it seem like Hritik himself doesn't know that he's doing the above (ogling/ making heart-eyes). Hritik still thinks he's doing what he'd do for any normal girl? So he doesn't see it as two-timing and maybe the audience is supposed to go along with that thinking?

I personally think even Shivanya is kinda wrong in targetting him and wooing him despite knowing of his taken status.

But then, it's also feasible to argue that Tanvi herself knowingly put herself into this situation. She knows Hritik doesn't love her and yet she wants to tie him to herself anyway. And she hinted that she understands that Hritik is attracted to Shivanya and she's going to let him go after her until the marriage happens.

So I guess all three are morally debatable in their actions.

But then, what made Hrithik commit to her? Why can't he simply call of his engagement? Like I said, she knows that he doesn't love her, but that doesn't mean she would love to see him eye another woman.
