In late October, Balaji Telefilms will produce a show titled Nagin', a finite series of 26 episodes of one-hour duration each, which will be aired on Colors on Saturday and Sunday. Interestingly, a show with the same name used to air on Zee TV from 2007 to 2009.

some articles says 26 some 36 some says 40😆..

no they wont extend it. arjun in one article was quoted to say 36 epi, another article quoted 40! but the problem is there is no video where he says so so cant confirm. initial reports said 26 episodes. 26 is bit tooo short.

wishing 36/40 is the duration.
