Dissapointing beginnings..My rant - Page 2

There was a time when I used to mail hotstar to upload their old shows.. but they just geo blocked the app altogether. & DITTO! Those cartoon that used to air at 7PM on Sahara one channel 🤣I used to watch. It was the best time TBH.

I always loose interest after the reveal of the main naagin.... it's a bunch of sub plots anyways... who cares..

But what I definitely hate is the fake character introductions.

In s1: Shivangi is in a house cooking a cake for a girl from orphanage and then nothing is mentioned about her again... She had a home.. (I think i may have something more.. but i forgot....S1 was almost 6 years before..)

In s3: (The one which I hated the most) Bela was interacting with her father.. nice family times.. the father commenting about her OCD pulling her out after she was stuck under the bed. and him emotionally blackmailing her to marry Mahir by drowning himself in lake.... All this to just show that he was just a naag purohit in cahoots with nagrani...

In s4 and s5: i did not think much but in s4 brinda did not know that she was a naagin and Bani never pretended that she did not know that she was not naagin, I think in s5 the sister also knew that bani transforms when she is emotional

Now coming to s6 (congrats it took the most hated spot just defeated s3) Pratha and her monologues (Job.. papa ki dawai... mayank...rent.. lockdown.. joblessness..etc..etc.). If you are acting then, why the hell would you even act in your thoughts.. who the hell do you think can hear your thoughts. and if someone could actually read your thoughts, then why the hell did you stop the fake thoughts after your reveal. She even had that stupid monologue about the whole police station and all and that went no where. The father is thrown out after not paying the rent.. but this all fake... then why would you do that...

Every time these naagin shows do the fake character introduction... I just hated it... why do this.. It makes no sense... They want to show that the main characters are innocent human beings only to do the 'TWIST!!' but the twist makes noooooo sense..... you can't just show us apples all the time and the "twist!!!" It was oranges all this time...

What do you think? Why do the creators create this fake introductions?

I agree. But instead of illogical, I would call it deceptive... especially in Season 3 and 6. In Season 1 too, she has a niece who is in a hostel. But Shivanya's sympathetic drama was held in front of Rithik not like Bela and her father talking to each other like humans. But they didn't show who is that little girl except that cake baking scene. Season 2, 4 and 5 are quite acceptable.

In Season 3, I can't even believe that Bela is a Naagin. There was no logic apart from her bholi bhali characterization. There are two conditions to become a Naagin - one is to do penance for 100 years and another is to born for a Naag-Naagin couple. Bela was born to a Naagrani (obviously Naag couple) and there are some childhood scenes of her but in the first episode, they shown that Bela (Ruhi) becoming Naagin after 100 years. If she is a 100 years old Naagin, how would she have a human body in her childhood?

Coming to Season 6, they gave a unnecessary explanation of some Math formulas to become a Naagin in a promo. But Pratha becomes Naagin all of a sudden. I thought 100 Naagranis would choose her and give their powers to Pratha so that she can become a Sarvashresth Naagin but no, she was born to a Normal Naag couple.

I have not watched Naagin 6 yet so I can't comment about those fake thoughts and scenes. Did they give any explanation about Pratha's family, her father, Mayank and all?

I think it is better to make the lead Naagin's characters mysterious by toning down the screenspace in the beginning and then gradually shift the focus on them.

---- i still dont understand why bela needed a complete plastic surgery as they are icchadhari 😆agar vish bela ka roop le sakthi hai roohi could have taken bela's roop. Because of one small scratch on face she changed her face itself
