Her reasoning to delay the justice WAS becoming an excuse in a bid to shield Veer and their relationship. This has made me think and maybe I am overthinking it - it could be due to her insecurity or fear that Veer would choose her family over her. Or Veer wouldn't be able to recover from this loss and would always associate her with the death of her family. Maybe she needs to overcome this insecurity? Because we all know Veer would choose Bani over everything and everyone always.

Like we have discussed, it is ironic how the Farishta is punishing her for the same thing that God has blessed her for and had destined to be. Judging by what Jay has said, the Farishta is equally misguided. He is the Bani of the beginning. Perhaps, he will eventually find out and will right his wrong and may extend his help to Bani too. This track may also culminate in tying some loose ends - Noor's murder and so, Ponky's end, the khulasa of the Singhania's illegal business and the revenge angle. It may also mean a lot of things for VaNi. I am hoping for the same and it seems to be headed in that direction by the looks of it. I think its about Veer seeing that his family isn't as perfect as he thinks they are. With the whole Noor situation he believed his brother blindly and helped bury her. Maybe its time for him to feel the betrayal of his whole family.

Love can bring about emotions in us that we wouldn't normally be feeling - or logically be feeling. While Veer has always maintained his love, loyalty AND trust for Bani, both in front of her and behind her back too, I think it would be natural for her to feel insecure in their relationship. Yes, hurting Veer's family would mean somehow hurting Veer too despite not wanting to. Apart from that, she would also fear of how something like this could impact their relationship because the bottom line would remain that she would have killed his family. Then there is also the point that the Singhanias have committed crimes and even have blood on their hands, so ultimately its a double edged sword for Veer. He would know that their punishment is justified but he would still suffer from the betrayal and the pain of losing them. And despite all of this, this was a road they had to take. A test of love if that is what it is.

I wonder if the revenge fans have some sort of satisfaction. I got the vibe this farishta was the revenge audience reminding Bani of this smiley36This track is like what they were going to show, were supposed to show, all this time. But then went off on a tangent and ended up with the moon and the stars and what-nots. I dont mind the Farishta, in fact would pick him over all the other entries. Like Arshi said this should have come after Naviriti smiley24

What I DEFINITELY mind and was completely disappointed with is the way Veer is treated. How the great Cheel Rajkumaar Veeranshu Singhania has been reduced to this. He seems to be controlled by just about anyone and that too literally, a day or two after he is out of the previous hypnosis. I pretty much resonate with everything that has already been said about this so not much to add here. But apart from the treatment, I also feel like its a tad out of character that not only does he not remember Bani, he feels no pull or connection? Not an inkling even. Veer's deewangi esp when it comes to Bani, was one of the highlights of his character... now they are taking it away too? Both Bani and Veer are supposed to be badass characters, is it too much to have them on one team in all consciousness for once? Considering the show is signing off, ab to dedo! I think the love and deewangi of Vani will break this- I am hoping that is how they show it. Like I have said nothing is purer than true love and I am hoping Bani's love confession and Veer's love will break all this. Also Veer has been reduced to Bani's weakness atm he is there for anybody to attack to punish Bani. But I am hoping next week he will be fine- the blast scenes suggest that and we see them working together.

Haha, yes, the Farishta was definitely the revenge loving/demanding section of the audience. The writers maybe thinking "Aaj khush toh bohot hoge tum?" .Ohhh.. little do they know how wrong they were to drag Veer into it the way they did. I TOTALLY agree with Arshi. After Navratri would have been the perfect timing for this track, they could have shown the revenge angle side by side VaNi's gradual progression. *sigh* 😒

Yes, its annoying to me that they are reducing Veer to Bani's weak point. If anyone wants to make her do what they want, they just use Veer - like he's powerless. During the blast scenes, he is definitely back to his own form. What happens before and after would be something to watch out for and hopefully, after this they are shown to be working as a team against their opponents. It will most probably be Bani's hearfelt confession. Because there is no way Veer could ignore his Bani's confession. The words he has been waiting for all this time. But maaaan, they could have done this differently.

Cheel family are super chill and fun. I almost felt guilty for liking them because like Bani, even I kept forgetting that crimes they have committed. The way Ponky lost his earlier fear and came up to Bani saying 'Bhabi', almost sweetly.. only to have it crushed. 😆 I felt a little bad to see this fam-jam ship sink in that moment. But it was coming. It had to. In an non-Naagin or AU, without all that baggage like you said, I'd totally dig into these relations budding.

I actually quite liked this Farishta track up, save for the Veer bit. YES. How exactly did he repress his feelings for her? My point is even if he has made Veer's memories pre-Bani or would have made it pre-Naageshwari, every time Veeranshu laid eyes on her for the first time, he has always been enamored by and drawn to her like a moth to fire. Technically, it should have been a first meet for him so that same logic should have applied. During the moon track , it was him doing extreme things but he had recognition... here, he is almost indifferent (the "hot ho" doesn't count). Even if he didn't recognize Bani or felt the same world-stopping moment on the 'pehli nazar', there should have some emotion, some contemplation at some point in their interactions. .. Its just VaNi's magic and was a little tugging to see it missing. Or maybe my emotions are heightened because I know that I'll stop seeing them soon 😭Reading Huma's reply did make me think though that perhaps, after the blast scenes next week, we might see VaNi working as a team.

WORD on all of this. I so preferred this scene to yesterday's - which, while cute, was also a little too fluffy (and poorly edited). This is my absolute favourite hug of theirs, and I can't get over the fact that we've gone from a Bani who didn't even raise her arms to hug Veer back the first time to one who is unwilling to let go of him at all smiley42

I don't think we'll get the SR references now...they've moved on to the next thing, even though they did promise us and each other they'd talk about it after last week. But a scene where they talk about why they are so important for each other, or why they were destined to be together after the events of Satyug would be wonderful as a way to close off the show. Damn you, SharBhi smiley19smiley42

To the VaNi scene yesterday.. I wanted to add also how Veer gives Bani's a kiss and my heart went soaring. For some reason, I felt that it was Sharad's input and somehow it made the scene even more beautiful . Those small nuances made the scene perfect. For me, both the hugs of this week and the last are favs. Had different emotions for the different situations. Plus, like I said I am bit of a sucker for run hugs, so I was a happy fangirl last week too. This week's one came about so unexpectedly and outta nowhere and left me just as awstruck. Some fluff here and there is fine. . But I enjoy the romantic ones, with a more emotional side even more which is why I loved this one.

Its a little disappointing to not have them recall the SR, given the circumstances after it. They (and we) were robbed of the sweet moments after. Worse, with the lack of those moments AND no mention of it, it almost feels like it didn't happen! I would love love love for them to actually discuss all that you said and show them talk about their fate of coming together. To have them express what they were thinking and feelings during their initial encounters - that would have to be more Bani, she HAS always felt a pull towards him, more so after the marriage. She kept fighting that. I would also love if Bani speakd to Veer why she felt the dislike toward him that she did, how literally everything prevented her from thinking about him otherwise, her own history and obligations included. From Satyug to Kalyug. Its been on my wishlist for a long time and imo, would make VaNi's relationship even more meaningful. Can we also some husband-wifey night-morning bed scenes pleasee.

Arshiii... I am not ready to let my babies goooo! 😭😭

@Bold. Wait. When did that happen?

The failing writing makes sense considering she is no longer even focusing here but on the new show!

Sharad would definitely make a uber hot vampire!

He would do wonderfully... and yet set it apart from Veeranshu too. The man's a bundle of good looks and talent!

I love the whole vibe of this family and I wish they had a different history or different show to be able to explore it all properly. Like an IB-type vibe. I like that they were an all-male fam too, none of that usual saas-bahu one-upmanship.

I actually quite liked this Farishta track up, save for the Veer bit. Me too, I'm actually liking this dude (and the acting is great 👍🏼) because you can't really tell what he's up to, and it's unsettling, but in a good way. Otherwise I've often felt like I could predict the story just from the precaps.

YES. How exactly did he repress his feelings for her? Or maybe my emotions are heightened because I know that I'll stop seeing them soon 😭Reading Huma's reply did make me think though that perhaps, after the blast scenes next week, we might see VaNi working as a team. So, in an "apne pair pe khulaadhi marne wala" move 😆 I have this, like, tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny inkling/hope that maybe this is all part of a plan from Veer/Bani. And I know I'm setting myself up for failure here because I'm 99.99999999999% the writers are not going to be this meherbaan on us, but IDK, on re-watching the whole memory loss bits, esp. in the kitchen and hallway scenes, I felt that maaaaaaaybe there was something more going on. In the kitchen scene esp., Veer takes Bani inside, is a bit rude, and then walks out, and then immediately after that the farishta shows up. Then when that bit is done, we see that Jai had been lurking outside the window listening to the whole thing. Then in the hallway scene where Veer shouts at her to leave, after everyone leaves Jai is again hanging around listening. So a part of me (the eternally hopeful/deluded) thought that maybe VAni decided to play the drama out in front of everyone in order to find out a) if the farishta is legit or not and b) if he's mila hua with Jai, or what Jai does next. Like I say, I'm probably reading far too much into this and it will turn out to be nothing, but I couldn't help the wishful thinking. If that were the case, it would be such a twist on what we think is happening, and would hopefully answer the loophole of why Veer doesn't even get a hint of his connection with Bani. As you say, that was a defining part of his character, as Aakesh and as Veer.

To the VaNi scene yesterday.. I wanted to add also how Veer gives Bani's a kiss and my heart went soaring. For some reason, I felt that it was Sharad's input and somehow it made the scene even more beautiful . Those small nuances made the scene perfect. Ugh, same. I loved the way Bani stroked his cheek too, such a small thing that made the scene so much more beautiful. And the non-verbal conversation, the little nods Sharad threw in, all of that was so touching. Definitely one of my favourite VAni scenes of all time and the song really set it off so well. See, they can write well if they want to (though I'd give the majority of the credit to SharBhi on this one 😆).

Exactly this. The fluff is okay, but at this point they've been through so much that we need more weighty scenes with an emotional connection, and Sunday's hug definitely gave us that. Last week's hug was good too, but this one, being as it was just between them, alone, felt really rewarding. (It also heightened the "this is ending" vibes 😭smiley19)

Its a little disappointing to not have them recall the SR, given the circumstances after it. They (and we) were robbed of the sweet moments after. From Satyug to Kalyug. Its been on my wishlist for a long time and imo, would make VaNi's relationship even more meaningful. I would honestly love all of this, esp from Bani's side. She knows the depth of his feelings but for her to tell him hers would be perfect. I've always wanted her to tell him that she was the girl he saved from the plane crash as a child, and use that to talk about how she fought their connection for so long, despite softening towards him. I don't think they will bring it up, sadly, but I'd be delighted to be wrong. That is one connection even Veer is not aware of...one more example of how their paths have been intertwined since the beginning.

Can we also some husband-wifey night-morning bed scenes pleasee. From your mouth to Mukta's ears, please!!

Arshiii... I am not ready to let my babies goooo! 😭😭 Me neither 😭smiley19 I know the show is bad, I know it's trollworthy (heck, I trolled it/the franchise before I watched it), I know the story is a headache, I get all of these things...but I'm not ready to let VAni go 😭 selfishly, I want it to go on.

@Bold. Wait. When did that happen? Last week when Bani was trying to cheer Veer up after he lost his powers, she told him about the gift she got him and he tried to apologise for what he said during the SR. They agreed that once the powers thing was resolved, he would say sorry, and she would give him the gift. I guess they did that off-screen since we didn't get to see it! 🤔😆
