While Bani did initially want to punish the cheels, she became blindsided with her emotions for Veer. Now more so. Her reasoning to delay the justice WAS becoming an excuse in a bid to shield Veer and their relationship. This has made me think and maybe I am overthinking it - it could be due to her insecurity or fear that Veer would choose her family over her. Or Veer wouldn't be able to recover from this loss and would always associate her with the death of her family. Maybe she needs to overcome this insecurity? Because we all know Veer would choose Bani over everything and everyone always.
Like we have discussed, it is ironic how the Farishta is punishing her for the same thing that God has blessed her for and had destined to be. Judging by what Jay has said, the Farishta is equally misguided. He is the Bani of the beginning. Perhaps, he will eventually find out and will right his wrong and may extend his help to Bani too. This track may also culminate in tying some loose ends - Noor's murder and so, Ponky's end, the khulasa of the Singhania's illegal business and the revenge angle. It may also mean a lot of things for VaNi. I am hoping for the same and it seems to be headed in that direction by the looks of it. I think its about Veer seeing that his family isn't as perfect as he thinks they are. With the whole Noor situation he believed his brother blindly and helped bury her. Maybe its time for him to feel the betrayal of his whole family.
Love can bring about emotions in us that we wouldn't normally be feeling - or logically be feeling. While Veer has always maintained his love, loyalty AND trust for Bani, both in front of her and behind her back too, I think it would be natural for her to feel insecure in their relationship. Yes, hurting Veer's family would mean somehow hurting Veer too despite not wanting to. Apart from that, she would also fear of how something like this could impact their relationship because the bottom line would remain that she would have killed his family. Then there is also the point that the Singhanias have committed crimes and even have blood on their hands, so ultimately its a double edged sword for Veer. He would know that their punishment is justified but he would still suffer from the betrayal and the pain of losing them. And despite all of this, this was a road they had to take. A test of love if that is what it is.
I wonder if the revenge fans have some sort of satisfaction. I got the vibe this farishta was the revenge audience reminding Bani of this
This track is like what they were going to show, were supposed to show, all this time. But then went off on a tangent and ended up with the moon and the stars and what-nots. I dont mind the Farishta, in fact would pick him over all the other entries. Like Arshi said this should have come after Naviriti
What I DEFINITELY mind and was completely disappointed with is the way Veer is treated. How the great Cheel Rajkumaar Veeranshu Singhania has been reduced to this. He seems to be controlled by just about anyone and that too literally, a day or two after he is out of the previous hypnosis. I pretty much resonate with everything that has already been said about this so not much to add here. But apart from the treatment, I also feel like its a tad out of character that not only does he not remember Bani, he feels no pull or connection? Not an inkling even. Veer's deewangi esp when it comes to Bani, was one of the highlights of his character... now they are taking it away too? Both Bani and Veer are supposed to be badass characters, is it too much to have them on one team in all consciousness for once? Considering the show is signing off, ab to dedo! I think the love and deewangi of Vani will break this- I am hoping that is how they show it. Like I have said nothing is purer than true love and I am hoping Bani's love confession and Veer's love will break all this. Also Veer has been reduced to Bani's weakness atm he is there for anybody to attack to punish Bani. But I am hoping next week he will be fine- the blast scenes suggest that and we see them working together.
Haha, yes, the Farishta was definitely the revenge loving/demanding section of the audience. The writers maybe thinking "Aaj khush toh bohot hoge tum?" .Ohhh.. little do they know how wrong they were to drag Veer into it the way they did. I TOTALLY agree with Arshi. After Navratri would have been the perfect timing for this track, they could have shown the revenge angle side by side VaNi's gradual progression. *sigh* 😒
Yes, its annoying to me that they are reducing Veer to Bani's weak point. If anyone wants to make her do what they want, they just use Veer - like he's powerless. During the blast scenes, he is definitely back to his own form. What happens before and after would be something to watch out for and hopefully, after this they are shown to be working as a team against their opponents. It will most probably be Bani's hearfelt confession. Because there is no way Veer could ignore his Bani's confession. The words he has been waiting for all this time. But maaaan, they could have done this differently.
