Sharad and Surbhi (and Mohit and other actors on the show) have at various times shown us such great performances, and they deserve for that to be recognised and appreciated.

Agreed - the way they bought Vani and their respective characters to life. Despite the limitations of the script (at times very absurd 😆) they performed and nailed it.

He deserves it thoroughly but it's incredible to see that he has got the much deserved fan following which he should have received way earlier.

I didn't even know about SM until this show. Don't know how I missed him, but I guess I'd never heard of any of his shows except Banoo Main Teri Dulhan (though I didn't watch it).

I'm so glad I discovered him as an actor. There are a lot of cookie-cutter type actors/actresses out there now (no offense intended to anyone, and no names taken), so it was a real revelation to see an actor as natural and nuanced as SM. I'm glad that N5 gave him Veeranshu and brought his talents out into a wider light. I guess this is why actors do shows like this with the likes of Ekta. The name recognition is phenomenal.

I will look forward to what he does next.

As a character, it is still Veeranshu Singhania who has been absolutely spectacular throughout the season. Even with the nonsense tracks, Sharad never faltered & did his best to make Veeranshu relatable with conviction. He battled Covid-19 & picked up swiftly from where he had left. It is indeed surprising that Sharad Malhotra hasn't won an ITA award so far for any of his previous shows while Surbhi has one for IB.

I'm happy that Sharad has been nominated at ITA for the Best Actor award. Reaching top 5 purely on the basis of voting by fans is a huge deal. The Veeranshu fan in me wants him to win the award !!

I did watch it and yes that was the only saving grace of a rather wretched episode. Although I don't mind to see Bani suffer, but at the cost of Veeranshu suffering is what I hate the most.

That's great yaar. Well done to Sharad, must say.

Same here dear, I had never followed any of Sharad's previous shows except for watching snippets from few episodes of Kasam here & there,.. I am so glad that Ekta offered him the role of Veeranshu after Rishi Singh Bedi. Veeranshu has undoubtedly been Sharad's best onscreen character to date. Full credit to him.

Surbhi's work on IB was great though, and I guess that was her breakthrough role, as this may be Sharad's. Even if took a long time coming, this role has brought him a kind of recognition that surprised even him. And it showed his versatility as an actor, which will hopefully open more doors for him going forward.

Agreed. I couldn't picture anyone else in this role doing it half as well.

I hope he continues to do grey-shaded roles in the future...I personally find those more interesting than the goody-two-shoes type, and Sharad has shown he'd kill it with those nuances.

It's sad but was kind of predictable that they had to stagnate Veeranshu's scope as a supernatural character to glorify Adi Naagin Bani. With the way Veeranshu was clearly overshadowing Adi Naagin,, they could find no other option but to reduce him to a lovable partner to Bani.

I'm truly happy for Sharad,, will be happier if he wins the award too.

Sorry, rather feel happy that Bani is tormented, but at the expense of seeing Veeranshu suffer is what troubles me.

I am hoping and considering the first scene of today we will most likely get some teamwork- because in the scenes of the blasts Veer was normal so hopefully they tackle Jai and Mr F together from that point. It will be frustrating but this is difficult wala love remember smiley36

Difficult wala love??? This is difficult wala story that is beyond comprehension, my dear. We can only hope.

Agree with you 100%

He was like slapping it on her face that how useless she has been as a Naagin. When Bani started on her "Adi Naagin ka insaaf" and Mr. F said "kori bakwaas hai ye". I was like🤣🤣"Right on my boy". He rubbed her lectures on her face. I would say smooth😎

I haven't seen a previous of Naagin but it would be good if they did that- I think that was put in the precap to make the audience think it might happen. But i doubt it - Bani has come a long way in that sense.

The buggers do bad editing to confuse us, but I am sure enough that Bani will not fall for this trap again. Infact, if she plays along with Jai and Mr. F, instead of yelling her spleen out, I would think, finally, the lost marbles are found.🤪

I know they are evil but I think a part of me confuses their onscreen roles with their offscreen selves. Like the vibe they all have which is why a part of me would be sad. But yeah they deserve to die!

I know man, feel sorry for them. The Cheels had a chill vibe unlike any other villain family of Naagin. But, marna to tay hai re😔

I just checked, Sharad's show "Banoo Main Teri Dulhann" brought him stardom & hell lot of awards. He was the most popular face on ITV back then (2007 - 2009). He came back on Television with Maharana Pratap in 2013. And look at him now,, one of the most sought after actors who has already worked with Balaji, twice. Hoping to see him play more interesting roles onscreen in future.
