But like I said in the previous thread , the Naagin fans who wanted something new + fans of the actors are watching this show. The mass audience that were fond of the old storyline is not watching ( I know a few who are finding this concept weird and complaining how it doesnt have the Naagin aura ) so I see why they've lost the old. They expected a new set of audience which isn't coming.

Kinda feel bad for the actors :(

they want the ghisa phita crowd of villains i am bored and fed up of that🤮

Thos concept is atleast a bit different.

I feel there are a lot of viewers that see the show on the app and the TRP ratings are from the TV viewers so maybe there is a difference there.

I was reading in some comments that people were saying that naagin 4 was called a flop but during few months it got 3+ TRP which is way higher than N5.So foop kya Hua??

I was really hoping that N5 which is a bit different with no saas bahu FL/main lead humilation crying weak track would do well.

It’s the after effect of Naagin 4. Also the thing is Naagin 5 is lacking the family drama element to engage the trp audience. I mean just look at this, there is no character playing the mother in law here, plus Jay played by Mohit is a big turn off and he is being promoted as the main lead while Sharad the Cheel is being shown as the villain, who will watch the show when the promos itself are a turnoff?

They should start promoting veer as a the hero even if he is negative somehow or the other, and either bump off Jay or get a better actor to play that character.

Third, Veer family background is a bit too dark, I mean I get that they are thugs but they should give some kind of family vibe there. Third they showed cheels as evil which is wrong in itself, because cheels or eagles can never be evil. So maybe people might have got offended by that.

Right. The promos they always show are so misleading and repetitive.

u r right.I duno y.this time the leads r not promoted at all like the previous seasons.But i guess the naagin avtar of shivanya shivangi bela n Brinda came much later.compared to that Bani's naagin revelation was fast.I guess as weeks pass😆they will show Bani's naagin avtar very often

exactly.Naagin4 was in top1 or top2 4 many weeks.before lockdown when it had a fall also it was in top10 itself.But after lockdown trps were very low.

I agree audience loves doormats but not in naagin. Dude just look at naagin 3, in no way was Bela a doormat. That is not the reason here, everyone who watches naagin is prepared to accept a FL who is fierce and strong. Infact Bani is the most subdued naagin ever.

While Sharad has been accepted, some people don’t find Surbhi suitable and most definitely don’t find Mohit suitable. That and maybe the show is way too ‘dark’ - I mean literally the way it’s videographed and the sets 😆

Kab tak people will blame Naagin 4 for low trps of Naagin 5. I thought this season had two trp queens, who were bought to save the franchise. Now that it’s sinking toh blame N4👏😆

It is Naagin 4’s fault, so yes it will be blamed. The ratings started sinking due to the shitty storyline of Naagin 4 that people got fed up of the show as a result of which the new season is suffering since viewers are under the impression that the same shit from season 4 will repeat here as well. Usually Naagin always opens with a really high trp, but this time due to the very low closing trp of N4, N5 also got low ratings.

So you mean this season is nothing on it's own, and relying on its predecessor’s shadow for the trps? People don’t watch promos?

Chalo maan liya about premiere trp, what about next week? It started sinking more after that. oh maybe people were still thinking about N4. Because they can’t see the different concept of this season the tremendous oscar worthy writing 😳 which is promoted everywhere.

Also the trends, and huge claims like “their fav actress is bought to save the franchise”😳

Naagin franchise(except s1) always saw up and down. So should I blame previous seasons for N4 trps too?
