Is Bela really icchadari?

We all know that Bela is an icchadari naagin but is she really icchadari? There have been so many instances where she could have been saved from the trouble of giving explanations to Mahir ji had she simply changed her form but she did not. I racked my brains all night to think of any one instance where Bela had taken some other form...and i could only remember one! Just one! It was during the Kul-devi mandir episode when she tries to kill Mahir and takes the form of a man. Vish and Vikrant both have been shown to change into more than one form except for Bela.

So far it had never bothered me but recently this thing started nagging me particularly after the precap in which Mahir magically reaches the haveli... All Bela would do is come into her human form and so would Vish and Vikrant... and another series of excuses and lies would be told to Mahir. Don't you all feel it would be better if Bela assumes the form of some other person and does not have to lie to Mahir?

Another recent scene being when she was with Vyom in the haveli and he had locked her into a compromising position to fool Mahir. Now as soon as she heard Mahir, had she changed her form to some other girl, Mahir would have easily left to look for Bela else where and both of them could have continued their fight. There have been many other instances as well but the post would get too long if i start mentioning them all😆

So is Bela too 'young' to be using her icchadari powers or does she not use them for some other reason?

But reason is very simple of her not taking anyone's form that is if she take other person's form then dhamaka kaise hoga tab toh easy hojayega and makers love dhamaka.

And I don't feel Mahir will see anyone of them in naagin costume.

Vish Vik will change form of their earlier self and manage it.

As from two days moti babu k bina hi haweli shoot ho raha h.

She took Yuvi's form to take care of Mahir after his accident.

That's one more instance.

With Vyom she couldn't because he was threatening her with her sister n asked to play along to make it look like that to Mahir. So she couldn't then.

Otherwise, like you said, instead of lying she should've done what u said, she could just change into someone else now to avoid more lying.
