And yes of course I do have a lot of respect for the epic. The writers, the characters and the narratives. It is one of the beautiful narrative ever written in human history. And I am not even trying to belittle or insult Draupadi character by having a polyandrous union. The only reason why I mentioned Draupadi polyandrous union is because it is one of the earliest polyandrous union ever written that is well known to each and every one of us as I wanted to talk about the polyandrous community that still exists in some remote parts of northern India.

Hey Rogna, From what I see you only tried to draw an example here.I do not think your intention was wrong in anyway.

Also, some might view epics as great stories not some untouchable things. It's alright to quote them to make a point. I saw nothing demeaning.

@Polyandry: The society Bela is shown living in, doesn't allow polyandry legally or morally. So this example doesn't really fit here.

IF she came from such society, obviously she is not wrong. But she is WRONG in living a different society and NOT telling her partner that she came from such society. That's where the problem lies.

But Mahir is getting hurt can't she see that? If she stops Yuvi in front of everyone, then how will Vikrant get hurt? By not stopping Yuvi she is just letting Mahir get hurt. She is not being rude to Vikrant when he is in his real form. If she stops Yuvi from touching her , then Vikrant shouldn't get hurt. And what is the justification for Vikrant's creepy behavior when he is Yuvi's disguise? Why is he doing all this disgusting drama?

Unwittingly, She is. She is not doing it intentionally, but she is still giving Vikrant hope there is chance. These things are very easy to observe but Bela is too naive to see it.

Being naive is not a fault but it can result in outcomes that you must face.

edit add: And she does clearly see how she is hurting her partner and she does nothing about it as well. What is her defence there? :)

Writers ko aisi bakwas likhte time ajeeb nahi lagta kya? A women is getting inappropriately touched and she is not objecting to it. What kind of people these writers are?
