She chose Mahir because she moved on from Vikrant. Bela didn't know that Vikrant was alive...so she had full right to move on. She is ethically correct. Maybe she saw that Mahir's love for her is deeper tgan Vikrant's love...so she fell for him. For how long will she keep mourning over Vikrant?

I don't think Bela's character has been butchered much. The only fault in her is that she isn't clearing the misunderstanding. Other than that I see no fault. Why can't a person move on ?

I have disagree a bit here coz sometimes the length of time doesn't matter it is the people the relationship u share with them that does there are times when you click with a person instantly nd sometimes they grow on u nd all relationship be it love or friendship work Almost in similar patterns. The intensity of love she has for mahir could be more than that for Vikrant nd also they talk of bliss of a new found love we r usually more involved in stuff intial than we r sometime later nd Vikrant absence gave Bela a reason rely on mahir what for me went wrong was them showing Vikrant to be such goody two shoe sacrificing his love nd all that

Yeah bliss of new found love might be sometimes greater than old love .I agree .but my point us they shown vikrant as .sacrificing whole heartedly .that makes him so great and even bela says Mai galath Kari ..so forgive..in a sense sge is agreeing she is doing mistake

So from bela pov no reason at all .so some viewers not able to digest it . If they had shown vikrant bad characteristics known to bela then her character would gave been strong now bela shiwn as whimisical who gies by what her heart says at the moment

Her heart said vikrant before and her heart says Mahir now ..so it's giving chance to bashers

People can move on from nice people also. It's nothing wrong.

Here they showing vikrant is goodie by sacrificing his love and bela saying it's my mistake to love Mahir ..forgive me ..

So here moving on does not have proper reason from bela pov..so she is saying sorry .that's making her character weak .she her self agreeing she did mistake and she can't do anything about it .now for bashers it's giving a chance

we all know he is after naagmani but bela does not know it yet
