Hekim ji was saying this to Mahir, while Mahir was busy in smashing the herbs and turmeric. They got the medicine done, Sent Rafi to fetch some more herbs and then approached towards Safia hatun's hut.

-- Oh hekim ji, please come inside.

She greeted them inside her small hut, a small room with a partition made by bamboo fence. On the otherside of the fence is where Bela is lying down.

-- I can't let her stay in your chamber certainly. Sorry for the problems hekim ji.

-- I understand hatun. Don't worry about that.

Safia hatun wanted to something more.

-- Hekim ji, actually I was wondering if only you could go to check the girl. I mean, she is a grown up women. So I don't think it'd be appropriate Aditya to come along. Don't worry I can help you.

-- Don't you know this hatun? Rescuing life is obligatory. So in this case there should be no objections if Aditya goes inside. Anyways if you don't permit him, he won't go inside.

-- Don't get me wrong Aditya beta..

Mahir nodded with a smile and stepped back to the chamber. He didn't feel bad, because he understands the perception of the villagers now. He only prays that the girl gets consciousness soon and heals faster.

-- Her condition is certainly not as bad as Aditya's. She will be alright soon if God wills.

-- Ameen.

I'm leaving now hatun. You give her the medicines and rub turmeric on the wounds.

-- Got it.

Hekim ji came back to the chamber.

-- How's her condition hekim ji?

Mahir asked.

-- umm...not too bad. certainly better than yours. I hope she'll get consciousness. And will heal soon. Look at you, you are all fine now. Just the wound of the bullet is still there, isn't it.

-- It doesn't hurt anymore hekim ji.

Mahir smiled, but his face was pale.

-- I never asked you anything about your past Aditya. But I do wish to know about it. If you ever feel like to share anything, don't hesitate to tell me beta.

Mahir nodded and saw Rafi coming back with herbs.

-- Now I'll get them ready. Rafi help me out.

It's afternoon and everybody goes to attend the prayers. Except for Mahir and Bela. One is making medicine for the other.

-- A serpent! You are a serpent? Oh God what did I do? I married off my dear son to a snake! No this can't be happened , I will tell everything to everyone.

-- Ma please listen to me.

But by then Sumitra got in the car and left the jungle. Bela was about to follow her just then Vish came.

-- Bela, thank God that you are safe. Where is that snake charmer?

-- I was fighting with him, but Sumi ma came and saw me like this...she got scared.

-- But where is Shaan?

-- He has run in that direction. You go and catch him and I'll stop Sumi ma.

Bela rushed to the road. But saw no one. She tried to visualize something and got that Sumitra had gone towards the haveli. But why did she went there in stead of going to Sehgal's mansion! She didn't know but she ran towards the haveli. Entering the haveli she saw no one. She called Sumitra shouting. And then she spotted Sumitra, coming downstairs on the hall. However her pace looked so tiring. Then suddenly she fell on the ground. Bela couldn't believe her eyes. She was stabbed. She got near her and tried to hear something from Sumitra. But she couldn't get her mumbles. She need to call an ambulance. But somehow she lost it on the road. Bela tried to get the knife out of her body. Within a few moments Sumitra breathed her last. Bela thundered by the incident, got up and moved back a few pace, still holding the knife and just then saw Mahir and Andy standing in the doorfront.

Mahir! Bela's heart cried. Even in her unconscious situation. Where is he? Dead or alive?

When Safia hatun entered the room, she saw Bela shaking terribly. Her mouth was full of white foams.

-- Oh God!

She rushed to the chamber but found no one. Then ran ttowards Mahir's hut and saw him cooking .

-- Aditya, where is the hekim?

-- He and Rafi has gone to see Atif's vegetable field with Mukhya ji. Why Khala?

-- The girl is shaking terribly. Please come and check her.

Mahir ran after Khala. He forgot to put down the pan from the mud stove. There was no time for this. Khala and he reached in her hut. Khala entered the room first, Bela was still shaking .

Mahir entered the room and spotted Bela. As if his entire world has been shifted upside down, again.

Looking forward to see what will be Mahir's reaction now to see bela in such state

Mahir could neither believe his eyes nor feel anything for moments. He only came back to reality when Safia hatun shook him.

-- Why are you standing like this? Go go check her.

Mahir ran and stood by Bela. He leaned and touched her face. He stroked her arms. To his horror Mahir found out Bela's temperature was down.

-- Get a blanket. Cover her properly.

He said while running towards the chamber . He passed this path as if only in a few seconds. He got inside the chamber running and started looking for honey.

-- Where the hell is it?

Finally he got the large container of honey, got a bowl and pour some and came back to Safia hatun's hut. She had already cleaned Bela's mouth. And also covered her properly. Right now Mahir doesn't know any protocol of the village. He sat by Bela and adjusted her pillow little bit so that her head stays higher than rest of her body and then started to feed the honey spoon by spoon. Even Safiya hatun seems to be forgotten all the protocols. She was only tensed for this girl.

-- Thank God that you are here Aditya Beta. I was so scared.

-- It's ok khala. would you please go and arrange some starch for her. She needs to be feeded.

--umm...ok I'll go to mukhya's house and ask some from Afiya.

She went out immediately. Mahir and Bela was alone in the hut now. Mahir still couldn't believe the reality. Is this Bela? Really? Bela, his first love, his legally married wife, his everything! To this close to him! He caressed her face.

-- Bela!

He called. But Bela wasn't responding. He took her hand, put it in between his hands , put a long kiss on it and kept holding it.

-- How did this happen to you? Who did this to you my Bela!

He said, tears rolling down his cheek. He again grabbed the bowl and started feeding honey to his wife. After finishing the bowl he again took Bela's hand and put it near his cheek. For 4 days Bela has been in this village, but Mahir couldn't even sense it! How many times he had come to this hut, to get vegetables , but never understand that Bela is in here. Mahir thought while still holding Bela's hand. As he closed his eyes, tears again found ways to come out. But then, suddenly , a scenery popped up in front of him. His mother covered with blood and Bela standing with the knife. She is the killer of his mother. He immediately stood up throwing Bela's hand.

-- Murderer !

He mumbled . He took a few steps backward and then turned around and got out of the hut in speed. He almost fall foul of Safia hatun.

-- Watch it Aditya. Where are you going?

-- To the chamber, I have some tasks.

-- And what'd I do with this?

-- You feed her, just be sure it is served warm.

-- Ok

While proceeding he again turned back.

-- Khala, try to keep her warm. Foment her if needed.

Khala nodded and went inside the house.

Mahir ran and ran until he reached his hut. He closed the small door of his hut and started looking for a handkerchief. He found one, took it and then went near his chauki bed. He sat on the floor, put the handkerchief in his mouth and all the weepings that was gathered inside him were coming out. He got a flashback of everything . From meeting Bela for the first time, dancing with her for the first time, talking with her, making her laugh, their marriage, Bela's words that hurt him, Bela's affections that comforted him, he kissing Bela, Bela's happiness seeing the arrangements of the room, their closeness and then one morning Bela disappearing, he and his father going inside the haveli, founding Bela with the knife and Andy cursing him and then shooting him. His weepings were heard by nobody , but he was crying with all his heart out. He removed the shirt and looked at the wound of the bullet.

-- My dad has caused this Bela. But you've given me the greatest wound in my heart. You have favoured me with loads of wound. Thanks to you, I'm now able to see things pretty clearly. You might have destroyed my life once. But not this time. I'll do everything to heal you, so that I can send you out of this village. You'll not see me ever Bela. And I will not see you ever. This is our reality.

The food gave her body some energies, she opened her eyes.

-- Where am I?

-- She's got conscious !

Safia did not bother to reply Bela. She went out shouting "She's awake" until she reached the premise and saw mukhya ji and others coming back from the woods. Safiya went to them and told them, they at once rushed towards her hut. Mahir also heard her shouting, he was relieved though but didn't move from his position. Everybody went to the hut and found Afiya already talking to Bela.

-- Thanks to the Almighty! You've finally got consciousness...

Mukhya ji also started talking to Bela, while hekim found the bowl and spoon of his chamber .

-- Aditya brought this. The girls condition deteriorated in the morning . But Aditya treated her well, and look at her now.

Hekim ji came out of the hut with the bowl

-- Bring Aditya to the chamber .

He ordered to Rafi and went back to the chamber .

Rafi went to Mahir's hut. But why is the door closed? Adi bhai never closes doors .
