You can't just fall in love because you are getting married to someone. The vows were unnecessary added. Even Bela took vows without meaning it really. He respects her and has accepted that she is his wife now. He likes her as a person but that doesn't mean he is in love already. Affection is different than love.

One of my colleagues and I met a person 3 days ago and we immediately started having fun. That person and I are always joking around but my colleague feels that we are spending a lot of time together during the breaks. I know that my colleague is interested in that person that's why my colleague doesn't like me being around that person. All this to say that jealousy doesn't mean love. Same way two people who love each other don't always feel jealous.
