I remember in the 2nd episode, Maahir had warned the waiter and then again Vish saying that "Mai achhon ke sath achha hun par bure logon ke sath bahut bura hun."
In a single stroke he has proved that about him. He repeatedly questioned Bela regarding her feelings about Rehan and when he doesn't get a satisfactory answer, he goes ahead and fixes Rehaan - Jamini's marriage.
Maahir was so silent in the initial episodes and then he started liking Bela and went ahead and did everything for her. I was afraid that they would just reduce that strict businessman aspect of Maahir. But he so ruthlessly went ahead trying to force Bela's hand that it made me happy to see that.
Maybe Maahir's move had created unnecessary pressure on Bela and Vish but as a human who is unaware about Naagins😉, he has actually done a brilliant job.
Needless to say, I loved Pearl's acting in these episodes. When he was confronting Bela, he looked every inch of a ruthless business tycoon, a man who is out to get what he wants, but the next scene when he smiles, he sets my heart soaring. Kudos to Pearl for such great portrayal of Maahir's feelings and emotions.
