Part Two

Dev and Vidhi soon fall asleep after their escapades. Dev is jolted out of his slumber with a knock on the door 6.30pm.

Dev slowly opens his eyes to gauge what is going on. He realizes the state of affairs in his room. He quickly freshens up and closes the room door in a way that no one from outside can open it without the key.

He walks into the kitchen to find everyone at the dining table having chai and discussing their day.

Abhi: Bhai, sorry appko disturb kiya , normally aap is time ko Bhabhi ko pick karne jaate hai na, I was surprised to see your car outside to check on you. Aaj abhi tak nahi gaye Bhabhi ko lene?

Dev: Vidhi ghar pe hi hai, woh lunch pe gaye the na hum log, tho usko thoda tabiyat theek nahi lag raha tha, isiliye maine use force kiya ki ghar aajaye.

Satyavathi: acha kiya kum se kum usey thoda rest toh mila, Kahan hai Vidhi?

Dev: uski aankh lag gayi, main uthake aaya hoon.

Satyavathi: Tu baith na Dev. Simmi beta, jao taiji ko uthao.

Dev: nahi maa, main utha ta Hoon, tabiyat theek nahi hai na, usey kuch bhi chahiye hoga toh simmi thodi na help kar paayegi?

Dev gets up and opens the door with the key without anyone observing. To his surprise Vidhi was up and already in the bathroom. He locks his room door and knocks on the bathroom door, to find it not locked. He sees Vidhi in her Tshirt not wearing anything below.

Dev hugs Vidhi from behind: Maine toh goa mein bhi kahan tha ki neeche kuch bhi pehen ne ki zaroorat nahi hai, tab nahi maana, ab kaise? Saying he starts nuzzling her neck with his beard.

Vidhi: aise hi, aap yeh Karna band kijiye, already aapke harkato ke vajah se, dekhiye kaise laal ho gaya mere galeme, saying she moves her hair

Dev: I am so sorry Vidhi. I can’t resist you and ab, aaj ke baad aur bhi mushkil hai. Waise ready ho jao, sab Bahar wait kar rahe hai

Vidhi: sab aagaye? Mere job ke baare mein

Dev: I just told them we went for lunch and you weren’t feeling well, so we came back home and you fell asleep. That’s it.

Vidhi: ok. I’ll quickly change.

Dev leaves and as he gets to the dining table, he gets a call and moves away. Vidhi joins everyone.

Priya: Vidhi sab theek hai? Kya hua tabiyat ko?

Vidhi hesitantly: woh mujhe office jaane ka mann nahi Kiya, aap sab ke saath rehne ka mann kar raha tha.

Satyavathi: yeh achi baat hai, hum bhi tumhe bahut miss kar rahe the

Chitra: Bhabhi, sirf humein miss kar rahi thi ya Bhai ko miss kar rahi thi isiliye dono

Dev joins them: mujhe kyun miss karne lagi Meri biwi? Office ke time pe nahi rehta Hoon baaki sab time mein toh Hoon uske pass.

Everyone laughs and the topic gets diverted.

After sometime, Priya and Vidhi start preparing for dinner when Priya notices the redness on Vidhi’s neck and little bit of swelling around.

Priya: Vidhi, can I tell you something?

Vidhi: haan boliye na Priya Bhabhi.

Priya: jab hum apne pati ke saath intimate hote hai, toh kabhi kabhi, uske nishaan reh jaate hai, tab humko extra careful rehna padta hai with our clothing to not show what we do in our life.

Vidhi confused: yeh kya

Priya: tumhare neck mein swelling hai. Main isiliye batarahi Hoon kyunki Tum office jaati ho and koi notice kare and you feel uncomfortable isiliye bataya..

Vidhi: woh

Priya: this is all natural Vidhi, isme embarrass hone ki zaroorat nahi hai. I am very happy ki finally you guys are making effort for eachother

Vidhi smiles: thank you Priya Bhabhi for looking out for me.

All the Raichand’s have dinner when Vidhi’s phone starts ringing. Vidhi hands the phone to Dev asking him to handle it.

Dev: Jai

Jai: Vidhi. Mujhe Vidhi se baat karni hai

Dev: you are not going to talk to my wife. She doesn’t want to talk to you. Usine mujhe phone diya BAAT karne ke liye

Jai: I want to apologize to her. Main bas maafi maangna chahta hoon

Dev: Jai this is neither the time, nor the right way to ask for an apology. If you still want to apologize call during day time. Do you understand? Meri Vidhi Shaadi shuda hai, uska ek parivaar hai, Jo ussey bahut Pyaar karta hai. Stay away from my wife. This is my last warning.

Jai: Dev, please.

Dev cuts the call and puts the phone on silent and comes back to a worried Vidhi. Dev assures her everything is fine, they finish their dinner.

Before everyone disperses Satyavathi asks Vidhi to wait as she wants to have a word with her.

Satyavathi: Vidhi, acha kiya Ghar aagayi aaj

Vidhi: ji mummyji

Satyavathi: darasal, mujhe Tum dono ke baare mein baat karni hai

Vidhi: kahiyena

Satyavathi: Tum dono ki Shaadi hoke 6 mahine ho chuke hai, ab toh saare problems bhi solve ho rahe hai, ab der mat karo aur Bache ke baare mein socho

Vidhi uncomfortably lowers her eyes and nods her head.

Satyavathi: Chalo ab jao, good night.

Dev and Vidhi are always sensible the trouble is they live in a chaotic world.

Ghar ke baare mein humesha soch ti Hoon ki itte saare naukar hai lekin Didi ko hi Khana banana hai.. kya kar sakte hai

Show mein dekhne ka ummeed bhul jao

Jai ko chahiye aazadi uske dimag se.

I always look forward for your response. They are always detailed. Makes me feel aapne Kitna time liya mere story ke baare mein sochne ke liye. Thank you. I am trying to lighten this story from strong drama. Will definitely try comedy.

Didi, yu toh sab ko gyaan baat thi hai, Jai ko bhi Thoda baant na chahiye

Kind of annoyed, but actually I like this track.

My reasons:

1. Not a typical saas-bahu drama

2. No other show, has a male lead supporting fl

3. All other shows have stupid and same melodrama about saas, sautan etc.

4. The execution is bad. Absolutely bad, but they are attempting a path which most of the Hindi show have never tried. Forget main stream show doing it with an actor like Iqbal in it.
