I think the only character they have spent time on and actually had her stay true to what they envisioned it to be was Amba. I don’t think I see any other way amba’s character could have progressed. I don’t know if you guys have different thoughts on what else could have been done with her character.

I don’t think this is the last we’ll see of Amba for sure. I don’t know what the other show is about - but I hope it’s not yet another run of the mill soaps that will get lost in the crowd.

I was hoping videv with the help of chithra vikram would help in healing Amba's mental health... But this was before the murder track.. Now the shit has hit the fan.. I hope they show she her serving her time

Absolutely, 100% she is obsessed with Dev and has resources to make his life miserable, and the progression is correct. Except the execution was unintelligent, making everyone sign papers blindly was dumb on writers part, not Amba. She was going to make his life a living he'll from the word Go. But, I think it should be wrapped up for good, perhaps in future remnants of what panned out can come back.. nothing huge but something that still needs resolution.

If I were writing, after this plot is over, Dev and Vidhi should get to know each other well and that will expose them to seemingly mundane but interesting complexities. They only knew each other at work and operate as a team in adversity. What would happen when the chaos calms down?

That’s an interesting option. From my perspective - I never thought amba’s character was redeemable - her obsession was never going to go away. If she waited 15 years for him, was delusional enough to think of herself as his wife and then to have him not once, not twice but multiple times reject her, was never going to end well.

Murder was a little out of character - but I believe that was a way for the writers to write her out of the story for now, leaving the door open for a plastic surgery come back.

i truly wouldn’t be surprised if she came back with a new face - it would stick with the Mahabharat storyline without the rebirth of course.

But Sneha has gotten so much recognition for her portrayal as Amba - and I think artists are challenged more when they have a negative role to play - I wouldn’t be surprised if she does end up coming back a few months down the line.

Yeah Amba has gone too far.. I really doubt if they will let her go.. But I have a feeling Sneha must be tired of this one dimensional character..

Absolutely - this would be wonderful to watch. They have truly never been with each other in a normal situation. But unfortunately, I don’t think TRP viewers have the appetite for that.

That could be it too. It needn’t have been one dimensional - her affection for Chithra could have been genuine instead of her faking everything just to get dev.

Like Helios was saying - they made the Raichands look extra stupid to get Amba her victory. That’s not Amba/Sneha’s fault - that’s just lazy writing. They could have made it a little more nuanced and have a true game of cat and mouse. Instead she became this all out crazy lady.

Harsh truth, so no point expecting.

That would also demand some fabulous screenplay and soulful dialogues. Previous writers should be brought back, if at all they consider this.

I am scared to ask for the old writers - they loved hamla way too much 🤣🤣

Videv’s relationship was nascent then. The post marriage/post chaos dynamic demands more thought, intricacies and less whatever vidhi says goes.
