Like Helios was saying - they made the Raichands look extra stupid to get Amba her victory. That’s not Amba/Sneha’s fault - that’s just lazy writing. They could have made it a little more nuanced and have a true game of cat and mouse. Instead she became this all out crazy lady.

So true... The entire creative team have been piggy backing on Amba for the plot to move ahead.. They had to make her extra evil.. I mean trp evil..

Leaving the main theme everything has been lousy right from the beginning... We were blinded by the main leads.. The ott drama was always there.. With hamla going to vidhi's office at the drop of a hat... I mean who does that?? If not for videv I would have hardly survived a single episode

But thanks to your diligent updates... It gets me mentally prepared. ☺

I feel the makers don't value Videv and the hard- work they have put in to keep us hooked. Blinded is the right word... the entire Vitamin deficiency track was dumb, atleast anemia dikhaate.. and when Amba was exposed next day her B12 levels were back to normal?? Kuch bhi!!

And what was Kelaa test, I have been wanting to troll that one.. I mean who writes such shit??

Or I think they know that the people who watch for videv will sit through whatever crap they serve. So they try to entice the new viewers with new variations of crap.

But what they fail to realize that unless they show something truly different, people are not going to leave the Uber crap they’re already eating for slightly better crap.

Exactly... I felt the previous writers were equally moronic as the current team. I hope netfiix takes up this theme with the same leads..

Yeah hamla going to the office and literally having vidhi on a leash was horrible - I have always disliked the office dynamics because the makers took an unbelievable amount of creative liberty.

They could have done so so much better.

The beauty of this videv is despite all of fallacies in the show, we’re still here hoping against hope that they will course correct soon.

I recently watched a drama named Kashish... Which is probably 80s make.. It was unbelievably cool and organic.. Not even a dum tana nana..

When exactly did this trp crowd come into existence?? Along with EK?

After watching these I feel the soap opera trend is to blame..

I think the only character they have spent time on and actually had her stay true to what they envisioned it to be was Amba. I don’t think I see any other way amba’s character could have progressed. Amba is the sole reason ViDev are married 😛. Without her plotting, they'd never have got married (at least not marriage in the way they wanted with full parental approval)

I've probably said it several times before, but am saying it again- ITV is incapable of portraying grey characters. Grey has to turn black or become white- no inbetween.

The Amba that told Vidhi there was no issue with her having a crush, the vulnerable Amba who was in front of Vidhi at the Jagrata, the Amba who apologised to HP for the dress fiasco and the Amba who got angry at HP when he slapped Dev were decent examples of a grey character.

What Amba probably needed to do was to highlight the age gap part- say to sing a song that Dev likes, but Vidhi has no idea about it because it is way before her time.

Get some of Dev's old college friends for a reunion and make Vidhi feel like an outsider because she can't understand their inner jokes from that time. Highlight the age of Dev's friends' wives and kids in front of V.

Get some folks to do what was shown in the original promos- for example the boat ride wala where the aunty ridiculed Vidhi.
