Hello Revutty.

This is a beautiful OS. You brought the on-screen ViDev alive in this one. Both true to their characters. I could see this scene being played out exactly like this.

Although the sadist in me wishes Dev hadn't changed his mind so quickly. A little separation is needed I feel. Their priorities would rearrange themselves. It would conclude the current mind vs heart battle for Dev and help Vidhi grow a little w.r.t her confidence and maturity.

Maybe you or Anupreeya can pen something like this?? Please think about it.

But for realization of heart as you mentioned perhaps separation will help and Anupreeya definitely portrays the best. So she can showcase it better than me.
